+ -1 moreSomething is really off here ! Started out fine- good cleaning and timely; however Dee seemed very annoyed that I needed to be home while she cleaned ( working out of her way ). She wanted access to the house to come and go but we agreed on a 1 hour window for start time -- that soon became 2..... and then just didn't show up although she had confirmed within 12 hours. There were many conflicting stories --- something really off

Description of Work: Cleaned my home on a weekly basis. Did a fair job. The agreed to time every week was at noon. So you could expect her to be anywhere from an hour to half hour late weekly. Two weeks ago I was away and my wife asked her what we paid her and she quoted a rate that was six more per hour that we had agreed to. My wife questioned me about it and I then proceeded to ask Dee what the issue was. She then had an excuse that she normally charges $31.00 per hour and not $25.00 but because I had tipped her so well each time she didn't say anything. When we first met and I interviewed her the rate was $25.00 per hour. I had thought we moved along from that. The following week she was about 45 minutes late and cleaned and I thought all was well. I never complained about her excessive tardiness or inability to be on time. Last night I get a text from her saying she will be here at my house between 11:00 AM and 12:00 noon. Around 2:15 it hit me that Dee had not shown up yet. So at 2:18 I placed a call to her cell phone which went straight to voicemail. At 2:30 PM I received the following text message "Hi Unfortunately, I'm no longer going to be able to move forward with our business relationship. I take great pride in the work I do and I genuinely love people and love to clean. The people are at the heart of the work I do. I wish you and your family the best. Mind you she was suppose to have been at my house at 11:00 AM and didn't even bother to call/text me that she wouldn't be showing up. Beyond unprofessional and further goes to illustrate her extreme unreliability. She seemed like a nice enough person. She did a fair job, charged $5.00 per hour more than any other housekeeper I have had. All in all I wouldn't hire her back. Not how you leave things with a client who pays you well in cash each week.

+ -1 moreDee is wonderful. Very hard worker. Gets more done in 2 hours than I ever could. I have two dogs and she doesn't mind them being underfoot as she's cleaning. She's very open to feedback and some weeks I leave her a list of things I want done, other weeks she does general cleaning - Kitchen, two full bathrooms, 1-2 loads of laundry, bedroom and floors.
