Description of Work: I contacted Bill Maynard of Bill Maynard Plumbing on 1/10/13. They were very quick to return my call to come out and look at repairs that need completed. He came the next morning and spent 5 minutes attempting to unclog the commode. He told me it needed replaced and charged me $100 for his 5 minutes of work. He also asked for $200 in advance for parts to fix the commode and some kitchen sink work I needed done. I paid him and NEVER HEARD FROM HIM AGAIN. Its been 21 days with no contact. I attempted to call his business line several times and it got disconnected 6 days after I gave him my business...Kinda Fishy Huh. I did some research online and this guy and his son which runs his business with him, have done this to 7 people since August. I also found 5 different phone numbers and addresses for him that were all fake or disconnected as well. I finally located the guys home address which isn't even in Huntington, its in South Point Ohio. I spoke with him and he openly admitted that he never bought the parts and spent my money. He then said "I don't have any cash to pay you back." I ended up having to file a lawsuit against this guy today because he refuses to pay. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE

+ -1 moreIt has been 2 months since the job was started. My yard is still completely torn up with piles of dirt everywhere, fence is tore down and job is not completed. Plumber took my money and persuaded the insurance adjuster to send check to him so he got paid twice! I cannot get him to come back and complete the job. This plumber got 10,000.00 total for not completing a job that would have normally cost a consumer approximately $3,000!
