Description of Work: We had a sink that was leaking and it was a very unique sink and it was hard to get the part, but they guy was able to find the part and fix it.

Description of Work: I had clogged pipes in one of my rental houses. They removed the toilet to try and snake the pipe and couldn't reach the clog. Original quote was $388.00. There was no clean out. They then quoted me $850.00 to install a clean out above and beyond the original $388.00. I asked them if the price was negotiable and offered them $400.00. You have to understand that I know how to do the work and the parts to do this was under $50.00 and would take less than a hour. I told them I would call them back after I installed the clean out. I called and they said that it had to be water jetted. That was impossible because the clean out was in a carpeted bedroom (no basement). It would have made a mess. I've used Roto-Rooter for my plumbing needs since 2001 . Never again. Called Action Plumbing 216-524-1413. For $350.00 they snaked to the street. Well done. I now have a new plumbing company for my needs.

Description of Work: They have helped with general plumbing problems, like leaking faucets. They did a great job. They show up on time. They completed everything and cleaned up.

Description of Work: After all the rain we had last fall, I was concerned about the amount of water in our backyard. We had been pleased with Roto-Rooter for drain problems to the street and found out that they also deal with backyard drains. The salesman was very nice but the crew that did the work were very sloppy. Yes, they installed a nice drain at the rear of the property which was fine. To their credit, the area was very muddy and the work difficult.but they left a lot of clay soil in the swail, the area that should be low so that the water would flow to the drain. They also left some debris laying around - pieces of plastic pipe etc. They were to return in the spring to clean up, spread the soil over the trench that they dug. We were still having water problems in the area and found out that what they did was not enough even though they assured me that what they did would take care of the problem. I called and left a message for the Branch manager in April and told thim not to come back because of the poor work. I asked him to call me. I never recieved a call, but he must have gotten my message as they never came back to finish the clean up and spread the soil either. We hired another firm who took care of the situation with extensive drains all over the back yard at a much much lower price. I hate to write such a negative report, but their lack of response was the straw that broke the camels back!

Description of Work: Our plumber was John #2723. He was excellent, on time, very clean, very informitive. This started as a simple call to fix 2 leaky faucets and one toilet. I also had what appeared to be a clogged wash out drain outside my home just below a downspout. John was able to fix the indoor plumbing problems and when he found the outdoor problem to be worse than he originally thought he immediately called in a supervisor. They both were able to explain in a clear and concise way what the problem was and the correct way to fix it. I was given options and was never forced into a decision. All together it took 1 1/2 days but this was done conveniently around my schedule. I have used Roto-Rooter for 25 of the 28 years I have lived in this home. I have never been disappointed, work has alway been done in a timely manner, they are easy to schedule, cost is very competitive, and the BONUS? - you get a real live human on the phone when you call.

Description of Work: Roto Rooter was called to retrieve a snake a previous contractor had gotten stuck in the downspout leading to our main storm drain during a routine visit to clean our downspouts. Within 30 minutes the technician had the snake - fully intact- removed from the drain! They were also able to clean the remaining downspouts and sanitary main, that were not cleaned by the previous contractor. We were completely relieved to have the snake removed and images taken with the camera of our complete storm and sanitary systems!
