Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain Service

On time, very eager for money as soon as work was done. With completion of project, we now have water leakage when ever it rains which we never had in 28 years. Came to clear storm drain, broke off snake in line, left it in for 6 months. Need to finish and re-do project.

This company is probably not the most economical choice, but I always received prompt, courteous service; i.e. the response call has always been the same day of my request call. There are enough employees to answer phone calls and provide service in a timely fashion. Their representatives have been friendly and willing to answer any questions I had.

OK, I admit I have a tough problem, and Im still working on it, but Ill never call these people again. First, they postponed the appointment twice, and I had taken off work early for them. They charged full price, even though the problem is still there. He said he would try to get a camera out for free. Roto-Rooter followed up with a voice mail, but they did not even bother mentioning a camera, even though it is on my receipt. They are expensive and unreliable. I called another company out, and while he did not solve the problem either, at least he figured out how the storm sewer is run up to a t where the snake cannot bend. He vidoe taped the whole thing twice (which he brought with him), snaked twice, and it only cost $100 more than Roto-Rooter!

They were very good. This is a very serious problem but they were able to fix it. When they dug through the slab, they found the distance between the slab and the ground was about four inches. So they set me up with a guy who could fix it for me.

He told me the work was guaranteed. Two days later, it started dripping. When they came back, he told me I need to replace the whole faucet, and I showed him the door.

EXCELLENT WORK, THEY SAID WE UNCLOGGED THE TOILET OURSELVES AND DIDNT CHARGE US FOR COMING TO THE HOUSE.

ARRIVED WHEN PROMISED. BROKE THROUGH BASEMENT FLOOR, REPLACED SEWER PIPES, CEMENTED OVER REPAIR AREA WHEN DONE. BOTH PLUMBERS FRIENDLY. COMPLETED IN ONE DAY. CLEANED UP AREA AFTER COMPLETION. SATISFIED WITH WORK BUT IT WAS EXPENSIVE.

THE DAY BEFORE WE SOLD OUR HOUSE, THE DRAIN IN THE BASEMENT BACKED UP. SO I CALLED ROTO-ROOTER ON A SATURDAY, AND THEY WERE THERE IN 1 HOUR TO FIX THE PROBLEM. WE SOLD THE HOUSE, AND NOW THE DRAINS ARE CLEAN.

THEY HAD TO SEND THREE PEOPLE OUT AND IT IS STILL LEAKING.

2 PLUMBERS ARRIVED @ SCHEDULED TIME (8-10 AM). DIAGNOSED PROBLEM. WARRANTY FOR 5 DAYS. HAD TO RETURN ON 7-5-05.

EXPERIENCED HANDLED BY MY NIECE VISITING FROM PA. SAID THEY CALLED AHEAD TO MOVE APPT. UP 1 HR. REPLACED VALVE. SAID FLOOR VALVE NEEDED REPLACED, DID NOT DO WORK.

THE PLUMBER, ANTHONY KARSON #27, WAS WONDERFUL IN ALL WAYS, EXPLAINING EVERYTHING. MY ONLY PROBLEM WITH THE OVERALL PRICE FOR 1-11/2 MONTHS WORK . THIS PRICE HE GAVE US INCLUDED DISCOUNTS. I KNOW PLUMBERS ARE EXPENSIVE, BUT WOW, ALL I CAN SAY. I KNOW ITS NOT HIS FAULT BUT IT DID PUT A REAL BIG HOLE IN OUR BUDGET.

THEY SENT TWO MEN WHO WERE LIKE WATCHING A COMEDY TEAM PERFORM. THEY TRIED TO SNAKE THE DOWNSPOUT, BUT THE SNAKE BROKE IN THE PIPE AFTER THEY KEPT FORCING IT TO GO IN. THEN THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO CHARGE ME FOR THE SNAKE THAT THEY BROKE. THEY SAID THE PIPE MUST BE BROKEN AND THEY WOULD HAVE TO DIG THE AREA OUT BY HAND. THEY WOULD HAVE TO COME BACK TOMORROW. THEY QUOTED 1395.95. SINCE THEY DIDNT SEEM TO KNOW WHAT THEY WERE DOING OR HOW LONG IT WAS GOING TO TAKE TO DO THE JOB, WE DECIDED TO GET SOMEONE MORE PROFESSIONAL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT PLUMBING TO DO THE WORK. AFTER WATCHING THE OTHER COMPANY COMPLETE THE JOB, WE DECIDED THAT THESE GUYS WOULD HAVE TAKEN A WEEK TO DO THE SAME WORK AND THE QUALITY WOULDNT BE THE SAME. I WAS REALLY DISAPPOINTED IN THEIR BEHAVIOR AND LACK OF KNOWLEDGE.

THEY DID A GOOD JOB, BUT THE PRICE WAS EXCESSIVE. I FOUND OUT THE CITY WOULD DO THE JOB FOR $100. WOULD NOT USE AGAIN BECAUSE OF PRICE.

SERVICE PERSON SAID HE SNAKED OUT A DRAIN TO 200 FEET AND IT RAN FINE. SAID "LINE IS OPEN" IN WRITING AND GUARANTEED THEIR WORK. A FEW WEEKS LATER THE LINE BACKED UP. THEY DID NOT STAND BY THEIR WORK. IT SEEMED ALL THEY WANTED TO DO WAS PERFORM EXPENSIVE CAMERA WORK, ETC. ALL THIS COMPANY IS INTERESTED IN DOING IS EXPENSIVE SERVICES AND NOT FIXING THE PROBLEM. I CALLED A REPUTABLE PLUMBER AND HE FOUND THE PROBLEM AND FIXED IT FOR A REASONABLE FEE.

SNAKED THE DRAIN, RAN GREAT FOR ABOUT A DAY. CALLED THEM BACK THAT THE DRAIN WAS SLOW, CAUSING A BIGGER BACKUP IN THE BASEMENT. THEY WERE OUT THAT DAY, SNAKED IT AGAIN AND TRIPLE CHECKED THEIR WORK AT NO COST. DRAIN HAS BEEN WORKING GREAT SINCE.

I FEEL THIS COMPANY USES DECEPTIVE PRACTICES ON ITS CUSTOMERS.

JOHN WAS VERY NICE AND VERY FAIR. I WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE WHO HAS AN OLDER HOME. THEY DO VERY GOOD WORK!

IT TURNS OUT THAT IT WASNT LEAKING, AND THEY CHARGED ME ENTIRELY TOO MUCH MONEY FOR THE JOB THEY DID.

IT WAS REALLY EXPENSIVE, BUT IT LOOKED LIKE PRETTY HARD WORK, AND THE DRAINS ARE DRAINING AND THE BASEMENT ISNT LEAKING ANYMORE.

THEY WERE ABLE TOP RESPOND QUICKLY, THEY WERE PUNCTUAL, GOOD EXPERIENCE.

EMMETT WAS VERY EFFICIENT AND KNOWLEDGEABLE.

THEY WERE GOOD AND THEY CAME RIGHT AWAY BECAUSE THEY KNEW I WAS IN AN EMERGENCY SITUATION. THE GENTLEMAN WERE VERY NICE AND PERSONABLE. THE PRICE SEEMED HIGH, BUT I DIDNT GET OTHER ESTIMATES, BECAUSE I WAS REALLY IN A JAM.

WHEN THE PERSON THAT CAME OUT WAS LEAVING, I CALLED THE COMPANY AND LET THEM KNOW THAT THEIR GENTLEMEN WAS TERRIFIC AND THAT I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE COMPANY. I WONT HESITATE TO CALL ROTO ROOTER AGAIN.

UNCOORDINATED CUSTOMER SERVICE. RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL REPAIRMAN. PRICE INCREASED FROM $130 IN 2001. WILL USE SOMEONE ELSE NEXT TIME.
