They never returned my phone call, and I have no heat.

Tune up people left a mess & told me to get furnace cement for hole in steam pipe. Boiler installation department saved the day and replaced the pipe. Dan did a good job.

Our old water heater burst in the night and I called PK Wadsworth at around 9am. They were able to quote for the job over the phone and sent a technician (Glenn) by 12.30 the same day, He explained what he was going to do and completed the work, including carefully explaining how the new heater worked, by about 4 pm. He had brought an expansion unit in case that was required but didn't need to install it which saved $. We used PK Wadsworth last year to replace our boiler and have found all their employees to be polite, helpful and professional. Although they are not cheap, they are reliable and efficient and the products installed are high quality.

There wasn't a good location for the new intake and exhaust pipes. The installer came up with a nifty solution and did the extra work involved.

Jeff was very quick to identify the problem and got it fixed quickly. The leak occurred late on a Friday, and we opted for shutting off the central air rather than calling for service on the weekend...which ended up being one of the biggest scorchers of the summer. We scheduled over the weekend, and he came relatively early Monday...we were extremely thankful to have our A/C back.

They are highly professional, courteous and well-informed. Our family company is in the HVAC industry, so we know good quality.

They were very nice and professional. She did a really good job. She was straight forward in explaining the concerns she had.

He was out of there in 15 minutes, and did not charge me any more than the standard $75 visit fee. Overall great experience.

PK Wadworth makes things very easy with a maintenance contract. They come twice a year to service the air conditioner and heating units. They make scheduling very easy, with friendly reminders and Saturday hours. They have never been late for an appointment and their service technicians are always courteous, friendly and tidy. There is never any discomfort in having a ''stranger'' in your home.

The workman who came out was very nice, very knowledgeable, and explained everything he was doing. The thermostat was replaced with a newer digital one on a timer to help with the heating bills. I will definitely recommend them and will use them to do a yearly check-up of the boiler.

Very professional throughout the evaluation of my broken A/C, sale and installation of the new unit. They returned immediately when the new unit was not functioning properly and fixed the problem.

I got an appointment right away. Used my Angie's List coupon. Dave was extremely polite and professional. He gave some recommendations for things I could do myself to get more airflow to the 2nd floor. He was able to figure out why the ductwork in the basement ceiling is sometimes noisy, and what could be done about it. I will use this company again.

They came by on 6/21 to look at it. They said they would send me a quote and I never got it. Last week I called and I did speak to the guy who did the original estimate. I got the sense that he was trying to figure out if we were going to go with his company before sending me the quote.

After seeing that I was concerned about the price of the estimate, he offered to use a different brand that would save me money. The gentlemen that came were very nice and polite. They were neat and clean and properly dressed.

The job is neat. The units are all very well done. The guys that worked on them were very knowledgeable. I had some questions, and they fixed the situations. I anticipate the price going down due to some incoming rebates.

After the crappy service, I asked to speak to a manager, who was ''out of the office right now,'' so I asked for his voicemail. I was transferred to a company directory where you have to enter the last name before getting the voicemail box, and of course, I was not given the manager's name. So I called back, and asked for his extension #, and left a message summarizing my experience and expressing my dissapointment - and frustration!

It is an understatement for me to say that I am unhappy with this company. I have had them out several times to fix the unit and every time they come out they find something else to charge me for. Now we are in the middle of very hot weather and I have no a/c, and they will not be out for another week to tend to my issue. I find the unacceptable to say the least and can say I would not recommend them to anyone. This all started out as just a routine service call that has gone awry.

I was so impressed by Jim. P. K. Wadsworth should be extremely proud to have such a professional, courteous employee working for them. I've already told 6 people about how great my experience was and this all just happened yesterday!

I got three quotes on this job and all were very close. Since we had previous experience with P.K. Wadsworth, we used them. When the job was quoted, we were told that our electrical service would not pass Shaker Heights inspection and that aditional return air capacity was required per current code. When the equipment was installed, an extra return air duct, with a price quote to be determined, was not installed. I decided to make separate arrangements to have our electrical service upgraded. The electrical contractor and P.K. Wadsworth were on site at the same time and properly coordinated the work. The installation went well, no problems. The Shaker Heights Building department did an electrical inspection less than a week after the job was completed. The electrical work passed inspection with no issues. In the middle of December, 2013, 6 months after the work was completed, P K. Wadsworth informed me that the Shaker Heights Building Department wanted to arrange for an inspection of the AC equipment . We do not know if the extra air return will be required until then, January 2014.

THEY WERE VERY COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL AND THOROUGH. THEY DID FIND A POTENTIAL PROBLEM BUT I TOLD THEM I WOULD THINK ABOUT WHEN I WOULD LIKE TO TAKE CARE OF IT.

TOOK ABOUT ONE-HALF HOUR. ADVISED US OF SEVERAL THINGS WE SHOULD CONSIDER HAVING DONE WITHOUT PRESSURING US TO DO SO. HE WAS VERY PATIENT IN ANSWERING MY QUESTIONS. THEY USE A TEAM APPROACH TO DETERMINING THE NEXT STEP. ADVISED WE WAIT UNTIL SPRING AND CONSIDER THE NEW EFFICIENCY RATINGS.

DAVE, THE PKW ASSOCIATE, ARRIVED ON TIME. HE WAS VERY POLITE AND WILLINGLY ANSWERED MY QUESTIONS. HE TURNED ON THE WATER SOURCE TO THE HUMIDIFIER (I DON'T KNOW HOW LONG IT HAD BEEN OFF)AND EXPLAINED WHY HE LOWERED THE SETTING. HE ALSO EXPLAINED THE CARBON MONOXIDE TEST. THE PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE. I USED A $20 COUPON THE COMPANY PROVIDED TO ANGIE'S LIST.

TECH WAS PROFESSIONAL,AND FRIENDLY. HE WAS ON TIME AND VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE.

THEY WERE A VERY GOOD COMPANY, NEAT AND COURTEOUS. THEY CAN BE A LITTLE PRICEY AND THEY DID A GREAT JOB BALANCING THE AIR THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE HOUSE.

NICK (MY SERVICE WORKER) WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS. HE HAD GIVEN ME A PREVIOUS ESTIMATE AND DID ALL THE WORK AND MORE WHILE STILL MANAGING TO COME IN UNDER THE ORIGINAL ESTIMATE. HE ANSWERED ALL OF MY QUESTIONS ABOUT THE NEW EQUIPMENT AND CLEANED UP AFTER HE WAS FINISHED. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.
