He was very patient and professional. He advised us exactly what we need to do to keep our furnace operational throughout the winter.

The service call was the worst service call I ever experienced. The technician seemed to decide very quickly that he did not need to evaluate my boiler system. I had to ask him to spend the time promised to check the boiler system thoroughly. He was apologetic and ingratiating. He seemed hurried and stressed. My impression is that he was overwhelmed with A/C repair calls and the heating system problems I had were not of any interest to him. His behavior was bizarre and unhelpful.

Rick came out and did a very good job and was very professional. He also had a little TLC!

So how does this guy staty in business ??? He could have sold us several thousand dollars of heating equipment. Instead, he talked me into having a home heat study done. I thought it was a scam, so he said if I wasn't happy he would do it for free. So he did the study (involved a huge fan and him going around the house with a thermal camera). It was so depressing to see all the cold spots and seeing heat fly out of our house. I gladly paid him because it was so eye opening about how bad our insulation was. Definitely do this when he comes to your house. But be warned, you'll be depressed at how much money is escaping with your heat ! Tyler Wadsworth then told us that if he were to sell us a bigger heater, we would be wasting our money. Instead, he recommended a cheaper solution with a different company. The cheaper solution was better insulation. Tyler handled everything. The company (Pure Seal) came out and diagnosed our insulation problems and gave us very affordable options. Pure Seal was great. Then Tyler came back and inspected the job and found a few small flaws and followed up with Pure Seal (they came right back with no problem and fixed everything). How often do you find a company that actually turns down a huge sale because the customer would be better served by referring them to a different company ???? So the insulation fixed all of our problems and we didn't need to spend $5000 on expensive heater work !!! PK Wadsworth is so honest and hard working that it is amazing. Some day when our heater breaks or we need an air conditioner, we will call them ! Just call these people for your heater needs and forget about your problems. They'll solve your problems. It will be done right and it will be done at a low price ! Highest recommendation !!!

From a customer service perspective, the ladies who answered the phone were polite.

They were very good. We used them last fall. The experience with them was very positive. They were very knowledgeable and professional. We definitely will bring them back again. I don't remember having any concerns about the price.

They removed the old heat pump, and installed a new heat pump and thermostat. The guys were very professional and courteous. They persevered through hot weather and a local 25 minute power outage. They cleaned up all debris, and made sure I understood how to use the equipment before they left. I will definitely use P. K. Wadsworth in the future.

They were fine and we had no problems with them. They were good. We had absolutely no problem with the service. They were very professional and everything seemed to go pretty well. We had a really old heater and this one is nice and clean. It seems less dry. The quality of their work was excellent. They were on time. We would use them again.

I was satisfied with the service, but I thought the price on the part was high.

After having a service call to repair a faulty component on an 18 yr old furnace, the discussion turned to replacment of the old unit. During the due dilligence process, we were uncertain that replacing a furnace the week between Christmas and New Year was the wisest thing to do. However, the sales representative was very assuring in all aspects of the process. Portable space heaters were provided, the work was done as proposed, and the crew that performed the work was efficient. When I inspected the work, it was hard to tell that a heating plant was even installed because they left no trace of any dust, etc. They also took the necessary time to go over the operation of the unit, and the humidifier that was also installed. It would be extremely difficult to find anything that remotely resembles any level of dissatisfaction. A very positive experience in all respects.

I'm not related to them even though my last name is Wadsworth. I've been using them for years. I bought the furnace from them, and it's been almost 10 years. I have had them come out every year since. They are extremely courteous and competent. They are very thorough about looking at the furnace and checking it. They clean things up and make sure that everything is working as it should. They are simply outstanding and very much worth it. Every time they've been here they have done something extra for me.

Coupon says free second opinion, which the gentleman I spoke to did not know about and whether it would apply to my circumstances. Chris was very nice and pretty knowledgeable. He told me they would come out on Monday, after Christmas, and run diagnostics on my furnace to see where the problems were and if it would be better to replace or repair the unit. That was going to cost me $80. I asked about the Angie's List coupon and he didn't think it would apply here. A free second opinion... wasn't that what I was asking for? In any event I scheduled the appointment for Monday but asked them to call with a window of time. I did not receive a call all Monday morning or afternoon. Finally at 4:45 an office person called to schedule my appointment for later that week. I explained my situation and she said she would try and schedule me for Tuesday. But if a company can't manage to get out to you when they know you may need $3,000 worth of work, I was concerned that they wouldn't pull through if there was any problems later down the road. I did not reschedule with them and would not use them in the future because of their lack of reliability. The only reason I didn't give them an F was beacuse my inital discussion with Chris was informative and he was nice.

I have a heating contract with PK Wadsworth and was surprised to find (after two years) that it didn't include the humidifiers. They should have told me. Anyway, when the humidifier started to leak I had to pay extra for a tech to look at it. The tech was very nice and helpful, and showed me the parts that needed replacing. He said the manager would call. The manager called a week later and quoted $850 for the repair. I asked, "what does that include?" and he said he didn't know and would call back. A week later he called with a breakdown, revealing that the price quoted was for repair of many more parts than the tech had identified. He gave me three choices, of which the cheapest ($250) was to do the repair the tech recommended. I said I would like that and he told me he wouldn't order the parts until I had talked to my husband. Then he said I really would be taking a risk to go with the cheaper repair. I called back a few days later and confirmed I wanted the cheapest repair. He said he would call when the parts came in but he didn't. I called back over a week later and the parts were in (had been for a couple of days). The tech came back the next day and the humidifiers are now fine. I had the sense that the tech now regards me as a problem customer; this was a little disconcerting because I think he has a problem manager.

Overall, the experience went well. They did a very good job. I'm satisfied with their services and I would recommend them.

Jeff came and looked at the unit but since the line was frozen we had to turn off the air. He retuned promptly the next day and took care of the problem. Very satisfied with the service. Signed up for service maintenance because we were so pleased with the service.

Paid $300 for one daty of AC, you tell me

They did a great job with the engineering of our system and they continue to maintain it quite well.

Our air conditioner was constantly running during a particularly hot week in June. The outside temperature was in the 90s and the inside would not go below 78. I called to have the system inspected. A technician was at our door an hour later. He inspected and tested the system. It was determined that the cooling coils inside the air conditioner unit were clogged with dirt. He gave us instructions on how to clean them ourselves. The Angie's List coupon was honored. We cleaned the coils and the system works great now.

We shopped around. They had the best price. They suited it for our house. They came out about three times because it was complicated.

They spent a lot of time and even told me where to get a coupon. They were great.

It was a good experience. They were a little pricier than the one that I previously used, but they did the work and there were no problems.

Obtained quotes from several companies in fall, when Carrier unit was 14 SEER, and benefitted from procrastination because model now available is more efficient. Allen Gimmell, who provided quote and did sale, was friendly and polite. Installation was pretty much a full day job. First installer on site actually showed up early - 7:40 am for an 8:00 am appointment! He was professional and respectful of interior floors. By 4 pm we had lovely conditioned air cooling us off on an 85 degree day.

They were excellent. We were desperate to have an air conditioner because it was a hot week. Our compressor had failed. I called several companies to see if someone could take a look at it. P.K. Wadsworth was here the very next day I called. They got right over here at 10 o?clock the next morning. They analyzed the system and did a wonderful job overall. I also received estimates from other companies. However, P.K. Wadsworth Heating & Cooling was not only the first company, but was the cheapest one too. They were terrific. We are definitely going to have them service our air conditioner and will switch to them from now on.

They are very thorough, customer service oriented. They honored a coupon that they even reminded me of. He cleaned and checked 2 other ares in my air conditioner. He was very kind and clean, as well. They put on covers for their feet when working in my house. Every step of the way they were curteous and polite. They did everything they needed to do and then some.

They come right away when you call. They call before to let you know they are on thier way. The service guy even stayed over to finish the job. I have nothing to say but great comments for them.
