Description of Work: They Designed and Built a 16x26 Deck, They did Cleveland Permit, and Foundation. 1 week to complete. They promised Early April. They stated on the 4th and Finished on the 8th. Cleaned up all their scraps and I love their Design accents and Workmanship.

deck cleaning
+ -1 moreI orginally checked Angies list for deck repair and saw A rating for deckmasters, so I called the number and they sent out Nazar Kobryn who did not have an A rating or any other rating. I did not know this and that is why I am having so much trouble. When I called the main number for Deckmasters they are to the point that they do not want to help me and even put me on recording when they see its me. You would think that they would like to clear up this mess which is giving Deckmasters a bad name. I am still waiting for my money.
Description of Work: 04/17/14 agreed on price to repair deck. Gave him $168.00 down and waited until 5/10/14 when he said his truck broke down and he would start Monday 5/12/14 at 9:30am. Nazar never showed or called. Called Deckmasters numerous times and they said they did not know what happened to him 5/13/14 continued to call Deckmasters and Nazar, no answer. 5/14/14 left message for him to return my $168.00 down payment. On 5/20/14 Nazar put a Deckmasters check in my mailbox for $168.00 and when I went to bank they said there was not enough money to cover the check.

+ -1 moreThey did a nice job. I am very satisfied with the finished product. However, a job that was supposed to take a few days, took six weeks. When making calls to inquire about progress, I got various answers and more delays. In the final, the work permit wasn't issued until five weeks into the project. I was in process of trying to sell my house and couldn't do it until the deck was complete. I don't understand what the holdup was.
