If you want to find out why contractors get a bad name, you don't have to look any further than Marino. It's virtually impossible to get a hold of Marino. His VM is always filled so not only can one not get ahold of him, one cannot even leave a message. I did email Bellatile. They got Marino to clean out his VM. We talked about moving ahead on a project he quoted the year before, in which he agreed to honor the quote, which was a very good price. He came over to refamiliarize himself with the project. I went to Virginia tile with him, picked out the tile and I soon thereafter emailed him that I wanted to move forward. That was it. He never responded to my email. I emailed his office several times, never heard back from them either. I called Mario many times only to deal with his voice mail issue. This was a small project. I think he changed his mind and didn't want to do the job at the price quoted. All this would have been fine with me, but the arrogance or lack of any fortitude to respond to emails is ridiculously childish.

Marino promised things he did not fulfill. The workmanship of the portion he did complete was excellent. His intitial response time was excellent. Following the tile they were supposed to return to clean kitchen tile and a**** grout. We tried to schedule several times via phone and email. No response. We included a tip in final payment because of these promised services. Guess we shouldnt have. Considered using him to remodel our bathroom, but after the no response, we will use another company.

They did the tiling fine. They were very dirty. I actually have to paint the hallway now because of the fingerprints. They also took a chunk out of my hall. They left doors open and the house was full of dust because they were cutting tile in my front yard. They did not finish putting up moldings or doors. They did not show up on time and once they were finally here, they spent more time out at their truck than doing work. One day they actually spent 14 hours at my home. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
