Description of Work: The man that cleaned my chimney showed up exactly on time. Our chimney and chimney and mantle are white there was no dust of mess of any kind. This is my first time with a fireplace, the man gave me information about how to use and care for my fireplace for optimal use and effect.

+ -1 moreHE ADVISED US OUR CHIMNEY WAS NOT VERY DIRTY, AND THAT WE COULD LET THE WORK GO, BUT WE PREFERRED TO GET IT DONE SINCE WE HAD CALLED HIM OUT. HE FOUND SOME DAMAGE TO OUR FLUE LINER THAT NEEDED REPAIR, AND ALSO RECOMMENDED A NEW DAMPER TO BE INSTALLED THE FOLLOWING WEEK BY ANOTHER CHIMNEY SERVICE THAT HE HAS A GOOD WORKING RELATIONSHIP WITH. VERY REFRESHING FOR US TO FIND THAT TYPE OF HONEST AND COOPERATIVE REFERRAL BETWEEN HE AND THE OTHER CHIMNEY COMPANY.

+ -1 moreDARREN ARRIVED ON TIME AND WAS WELL EQUIPPED FOR THE TASKS AT HAND. HE WAS COURTEOUS, EASY TO TALK TO, ANSWERED ALL OF MY QUESTIONS AND TOOK PRIDE IN HIS WORK. I HAD ASKED TO HAVE TWO CHIMNEYS CLEANED BUT HE INSISTED ONE OF THEM DID NOT NEED IT, SOMETHING THAT I HAD SUSPECTED SO I WAS PLEASED WITH HIS HONESTY. HE DILIGENTLY WENT ABOUT THE WORK HE WAS GIVEN. I WOULD RECOMMEND OR HIRE DARREN AGAIN.
Description of Work: I CONTACTED DARREN AFTER A REFERRAL FROM ANGIE`S LIST. HE CAME TO MY HOME AND PERFORMED CHIMNEY SWEEP AND REPAIR SERVICES.

Description of Work: HIRED THEM TO CLEAN THE CHIMNEY AND REMOVE THE HIGH-EFFICIENCY WOODBURNING INSERT. ALTHOUGH THEY WERE TOLD THEY WOULD HAVE TO PERMANENTLY REMOVE THE HEAVY INSERT, THEY LACKED A DOLLY TO REMOVE THE INSERT FROM THE HOUSE. MY HUSBAND USED MY SONS OLD WAGON TO HELP THEM MOVE THE INSERT TO THE TREELAWN. THEY DID DO A NICE JOB OF CLEANING THE CHIMNEY ONCE THE INSERT WAS REMOVED. ANOTHER COMPANY I CALLED REFUSED TO CLEAN THE CHIMNEY UNTIL AFTER THE INSERT WAS REMOVED AND THEY WOULDN`T REMOVE THE INSERT, EITHER. IT WAS WELL WORTH THE PRICE TO HAVE BAY CHIMNEY SWEEP REMOVE THE INSERT AND CLEAN THE CHIMNEY.
