Never returned my phone call

Kim and Kathy did a wonderful job on everything. They are perfectionists, and everything was "done right." They are also very neat--I had almost nothing to clean up! They ran into a bit of an issue when installing the new valve for my bath fixtures, but they were smart enough to know a plumber was required. They got a plumber to my house, and worked with the plumber to solve the problem. They were able to reinstall the shower tiles that needed to be removed to install the valve! I am SO grateful for that! The final time/cost was a bit high than estimated, but understandable once they discovered the issue with the tub valve.

They came to give an estimate and let us know when they could do the work. Their estimate was correct, and their work was excellent. They do not use tape, and we can not find any "slips" on the woodwork. They are dedicated to their work, and very nice gals, as well.

Kim and Kathy did an excellent job. They returned calls immediately, came for an estimate when they said they would, made some excellent suggestions and performed the work professionally. I appreciate their flexibility, I had ordered my own tile and it was 100 sq ft short and not returnable. They immediately set to work to remedy the situation. We were able to return that tile and purchase another one which I actually liked better. They worked late in the evening to finish the job so that it would be ready in time for a party I was having. They also discovered when installing new lighting that there was a problem with the previous wiring and repaired that. I was not able to be at home much of the time they were working, but was very comfortable with them being in my home. I was concerned that my very large dog would get in their way but they worked around him and didn't mind a bit. They cleaned up and hauled away everything. Very nice people, will definitely recommend to others.

Kim and Cathy were awesome! I had a great experience with them and would definitely use them again. They were very professional, reliable, friendly, and tidy!

My wife and I couldn't be happier with our whole experience dealing with Ducks in a Row. Kathy and Kim are both very nice and trustworthy people. I had no problem or worries giving them a key to our house. They were even super nice to our cat! They explained everything they'd be doing and kept us up to date on the progress of the jobs. They were on time and worked long hours to make sure the jobs got done on time. Most importantly the work they did was superb! We will definitely be hiring them again in the future for all our handyman related needs.

They were fabulous. The work was done quickly and professionally and we were very happy with the results. They were very courteous and cleaned up after themselves. Their work helped us sell our house!

I enjoyed talking with the woman who came into my home to estimate the job. She was friendly and personable and very knowledgeable. I would have felt very comfortable having her in my home to complete the painting. I went with another company because their estimate was just as professional but quite a bit lower. However, I would consider Ducks in a Row for a future job. The only reason I rated them a C on professionalism was because there was no written estimate.

They are great. You all have heard of those horrible stories about general contractors with work unfinished or done wrong how you can't get in touch with them and they subcontract to a couple of kids with little experience and you are not sure what you are paying for. This is not Ducks. You know what you pay for their time and you know what you pay for materials. They are truly nice people. We are not good with decorating. These guys have guided us through it with great results. They can do almost anything. It's like having a couple of friends who are in the business come over to work on your house. They painted a ceiling that I thought looked fine, but they didn't like it, so the repainted free of charge. Go find another contractor that would do that. I don't have the time to write more but I could. Hire them. You will not be disappointed. We love them. I can't recommend them enough. They even take care of our cats when we are not there. No problem giving them house keys. Frank

We are extremely pleased with the work that Kathy and Kim performed. They are very professional, polite, and considerate. Very reasonably priced for the amount of work they performed. They are meticulous in their workmanship. We have received many compliments on the house. We wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

I had an assorted list of odds and ends handyman items that needed to be completed. This team is above reproach. They can do it all and they have a great sense of decorating as well...as it says on their business card, ''Space Transformation Specialists.'' They are extremely persistent and will work on a challenge until it is done whereas other people have told me point blank, ''That is impossible'' and walk away. Their solutions are often money savers. Everything is impeccably clean when they are finished their work and they don't leave until they are finished. I have rarely found people as good as this team and I recommend them highly. It is a distinct pleasure to have them working around my home.

They were great! Always on time, cleaned up every evening when they left and were very pleasant to have in the house. The work they had to do was extra hard because they had to correct someone else's mistakes and repair their damage. They did a fantastic job. The only negative might be that they took longer than they estimated, but that is because they are so meticulous. We would have them back anytime.

Kim & Kathy were extremely professional, helpful, flexible, paid attention to details, and were dedicated to excellence. They helped us choose colors, and were very patient with our indecision! Their work was flawless, and they always left a clean work area. They went out of their way to make sure the project was completed on time and to our complete satisfaction. We are thrilled with their work, and would highly recommend them to anyone needing interior painting.

Kathy & Kim were excellent and they did an excellent job! I waited almost a month for their services, but it was worth the wait. They were very professional, cleaned up extremely well, respected my time and my property. I would recommend them in a heartbeat for any kind of painting or handyperson job.

I THOROUGHLY ENJOYED WORKING WITH KIM AND KATHY. THEY ARE EASY TO WORK WITH, APPROPRIATELY DETAIL-ORIENTED, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, CREATIVE. I HAD CONSULTED WITH THREE OTHERS - INCLUDING A LOCKSMITH - ABOUT HOW TO PREVENT MY SPECIAL NEEDS CHILD FROM ESCAPING OUT OF THE WINDOWS. KIM AND KATHY WERE THE ONES WHO FIGURED OUT HOW TO DO IT, WITH A CREATIVE, LOW-TECH SOLUTION. THEY ALSO CAME UP WITH A GREAT WAY TO FIX MY PLATFORM BED, WHICH HAD COLLAPSED AFTER SOME VIGOROUS JUMPING BY ANOTHER OFFSPRING. I WILL DEFINITELY CALL KIM AND KATHY AGAIN.

A JOY TO WORK WITH AND HAVE IN THE HOUSE--VERY SENSITIVE TO HOMEOWNERS NEEDS. WE WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN IN A MINUTE! K2 DEFINITELY HAVE THEIR DUCKS IN A ROW!

KIM AND KATHY WERE PROMPT, POLITE AND EVEN THOUGH THEY HAD EXTRA WORK TO DO THEY FINISHED ON TIME. THE WORK BEGAN ON MONDAY, JULY 11 AND FINISHED AT APPROXIMATELY 10:00 P.M. ON THE 15TH. THEY WERE WILLING TO GO THE EXTRA MILE TO MAKE SURE THAT THE JOB WAS DONE PROFESSIONALLY. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE FINISHED PRODUCT. THE TOTAL COST WAS MORE THAN THEY HAD QUOTED, BUT THAT WAS DUE TO THE FLOOR THAT NEEDED REPLACED.

NOT ONLY ARE THEY VERY CAREFUL IN THEIR WORK, BUT THEY CLEAN UP EVERYTHING AFTERWARDS! THEY ARE ALSO VERY GOOD AT DECORATING IDEAS AND ESPECIALLY COLOR SELECTION. I WOULD HAVE NEVER THOUGHT OF USING TWO COLORS IN THE ROOM, BUT BECAUSE OF THE LIGHTING, IT ALL LOOKS THE SAME NOW. VERY, VERY CLEVER! TRUSTWORTHY, CARING, KNOWLEDGEABLE, PUNCTUAL...EVERYTHING YOU DESIRE IN SOMEONE COMING INTO YOUR HOME. YOU WON'T FIND BETTER!

KIM AND KATHY DID A WONDERFUL JOB, AND I HAD A HASSLE-FREE EXPERIENCE. THEY WERE METICULOUS, TIDY, AND CONSIDERATE. THEY WERE ALSO EXCELLENT DEALING WITH MY PETS. I WOULD BE HAPPY TO HAVE THEM WORK FOR ME AGAIN. THEIR PRICE FELL RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF MY ESTIMATES, AND THEY WERE DEFINITELY WORTH THE MONEY.

KIM AND KATHY CAME OUT FOR FREE ESTIMATE. THEY FIGURED IT WOULD BE $550-850 PLUS MATERIALS. AFTER THEY BEGAN THE JOB THEY REALIZED IT WOULD BE MUCH MORE INVOLVED THAN THEY THOUGHT BECAUSE THE KITCHEN FLOOR HAD 2 MORE LAYERS OF FLOORING BENEATH THE TOP LAYER, AND THE OVERALL AREA HAD MANY NOOKS AND CRANNIES. BECAUSE THEY MISCALCULATED THE TIME, THEY DID NOT CHARGE ME MORE THAN $850 FOR LABOR. I PAID FOR ALL THE LAMINATE FLOORING SEPARATELY ($800). KIM AND KATHY WERE VERY NICE AND HONEST, AND WORKED TO KEEP ME WITHIN A DECENT BUDGET. THEY EVEN CAME BACK ON SATURDAY TO FINISH ONE LAST SMALL TASK. FLOOR LOOKS GREAT AND I'D USE THEM AGAIN FOR OTHER JOBS!

VERY CAREFUL, THOROUGH AND NEAT ABOUT EVERYTHING THEY DO. PROVIDE GOOD ADVICE AND FIX THINGS I DIDN'T EVEN REALIZE NEEDED FIXING. OBSERVANT. HAVE A GOOD SENSE OF DESIGN. GOOD PROBLEM SOLVERS. LOTS OF ENERGY. HONEST AND A PLEASURE TO HAVE AROUND. RECOMMEND THEM WITHOUT ANY HESITATION.

KIM & KATHY DID A BEAUTIFUL JOB OF TRANSFORMING OUR MASTER BED ROOM, OFFICE, & 2 BATHS. THEIR EXPERTISE GOES BEYOND TECHNIQUE, THEY KNOW COLOR. THEIR SUGGESTIONS AND ADVICE OFTEN DREW US OUT OF OUR COMFORT ZONE, BUT IT ALWAYS MADE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ORDINARY & FANTASTIC. ''THE DUCKS'' WERE NEAT, ORGANIZED, AND PROFESSIONAL. WE HAD NO PROBLEM ALLOWING THEM ACCESS WHEN WE WERE NOT AT HOME. AND THEY WILL DEFINITELY BE OUR FIRST CHOICE NEXT TIME!

VERY POLITE AND COURTEOUS. DID A GREAT JOB. EVEN TOOK THE TIME TO SHOW US HOW TO USE THE NEW AWNING.

THEIR PRICES ARE VERY REASONABLE. THE TWO WOMEN DO ALL THE WORK THEMSELVES. THEY ARE VERY THOROUGH.
