We had our ducts cleaned by another company 15 years ago and thought they did a fairly decent job. We were shocked at the amount of drywall, nails and lots of dust that Productive removed. Just to let you know - it is very loud. They drill a couple of holes in the ducts and hook up a vacuum to it. The vacuum is very effective and loud. They clean all the registers and returns and sealed the holes back up. Very clean and professional. Thanks, Jake!

They are four times cheaper than other companies, their price was super reasonable. They called me a week in advance and on Friday to remind about the appointment and they are clean and reliable, they make sure that every thing is up to the standards.

I called this company on the recommendation of my HVAC guy. I was told because of the complex nature of my job I had to wait for one particular technician to be available. In part because of my schedule, I ended up waiting a month for an appointment. The first words out of the techs mouth was "you have chipmunks". Yes, in the yard. I live in the woods what would you expect? The tech decided he wanted to check out the basement because he had heard it involved crawl space. Admittedly the crawl space has some icky elements and tight spaces but many people -- electricians, plumbers and the guys who installed my AC ducts have worked down there. . The tech then went outside to see if he could put his hose through my laundry room window to access the basement. He then complained that there was poison oak and poison ivy in the area in front of my laundry. First there is no poison oak anywhere in NE Ohio. I carefully inspected the area and found two tiny ivy plants which I volunteered to pull. He started to question every plant in the area -- he obviously didn't even know what poison ivy looked like. He then decided his hose wasn't long enough to do the work. At that point it became obvious that he just didn't want to do the job. I think that was probably a good thing. The job wasn't enough for this company. I promptly called and arranged for the company I had successfully used previously to come and clean my ducts.

Met productive air duct cleaning at home and flower show. Read reviews on Angie's List. I was able to get an appointment and Nick and his crew were on time ( I think they were a little early). They setup the hoses and equipment. If you are really particular about your floors you may want to make sure to ask about how many floor coverings they have available. We had lots of cardboard that we were able to use in addition to Progressive's floor covers. They cleaned out all the vents and put in a new filter once they were finished cleaning. (I had purchased several and stored them close to the furnace). The also talked to me a little bit about the air duct system that had been installed in the house and things to look out for in the future. Nick has a dry sense of humor and so once you accept that he's easy to work with. All in all, nice job.

I was very pleased with the results of the service I was given. Here are a few details. First contact was great, he immediately put on little blue booties over his work boots to minimize any effect on our floors! Nice touch! Nick the technician was gracious when he learned I had turned the damper of every duct to the off position, because I thought based on the info I was given that is how it was supposed to be for Summer...when the AC was running. Moving here from an area that doesn't use furnaces, I was really quite unaware as to how to care for or operate such a system. So his expertise and subtle humor was appreciated...even if at the expense of my pride! I was grateful that Nick also went over some of the details with us in person. Details that were omitted during my initial phone contact with the company. He pointed out that they would have to cut small holes in the mainline for running the cleaning suction hose through in order to get to all of the debris out. These 1" holes were neatly covered and sealed when finished, but I can imagine it would be quite a surprise to see someone drilling into your ductwork and not know why! Our system hadn't been cleaned for the life of the house..(over 30 years!!!) so it was definitely time. They found a large tube of vintage drywall caulk stuck in one of the ducts left over from when the house was built....in 1978!! When we got home...that evening, the air was clean, and smelled better, the house was dust free, and our night was a lot cooler. I know we'll eventually make up the cost of this cleaning in Electricity and Gas bills over the next few months. Their one price for everything is a little spendy...but be sure to mention if you are a senior citizen or an Angies List member and there are additional discounts given. My mom was able to take advantage of both of these discounts and save over $100 off their list price for her home. Thank you Productive!

As they arrived, I was marking cold and warm air portals with sticky notes. My efforts were dismissed and I was arrogantly told, "We're experts" and that they knew how to find them. The work seemed to progress efficiently. After they left, we saw that several covers were not disturbed: old paint jobs covering the grillwork and the walls were still sealed and items in front of some of the openings had not been moved. Also, one cover was not reattached to the wall and some others were in place but the screws were sticking out and not started into the walls. We chose not to call them back because we didn't even want them back in the house. 12/3/2012: A follow-up call from Productive is acknowledged and appreciated, and resolution offered.

I was very pleased with the service. The technician was pleasant, professional, and punctual. He explained everything, arrived on the day scheduled and within the allotted time scheduled. I was amazed at all the debris that was in the ductwork ( we had never had it cleaned since we built the house 7 years ago). Since the cleaning, I have noticed that the house does not get as dusty as it had in the past and I am sneezing less. I would highly recommend this company.

We happened to meet him at a home and garden show and there was no high pressure from him on us. He welcomed us to meet other competitors. He explained to us exactly what he was going to do and how much he would charge and why he charged the way he does. He also cleaned the furnace, dryer, vents and all the attachments. They were here for 2 hours and did a thorough job. They were wonderful and did everything they said they would do.

It went very well--people on the phone were very polite ("thank you for giving us opportunity"--when was the last time you heard that? ) The company representative came promptly on a cold snowy day. He put down drop cloths to keep my floor clean. He explained the work and did a nice job. When I pointed out one hidden vent in a closet, the gentleman thanked me for pointing it out and promptly cleaned it. Cost is based on number of furnaces

PRODUCTION WAS GREAT. THEY DID A FANTASTIC JOB AT 200 LESS THAN THE OTHER 2 QUOTES I RECEIVED.

PROMPT, EFFICIENT AND COURTEOUS. KNOWING I HAD A POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS SITUATION WITH MY FURNACE, THEY WERE ABLE TO COME RIGHT OUT (NEXT MORNING, FIRST THING; I HAD CALLED AT 5PM). THERE WAS NO MESS AND I HAVE NEVER KNOWN MY FURNACE TO WORK MORE EFFICIENTLY! ESPECIALLY NOTEWORTHY AS COLD AS ITS BEEN THIS SEASON. THEY GAVE VERY PRACTICAL RECOMMENDATIONS FOR FUTURE FURNACE CARE, IN ADDITION. A COSTLY TWO DAYS, BETWEEN THEM AND JENNINGS, BUT MORE THAN WORTH IT, ALL THINGS CONSIDERED.
