How did it go is not a fair question. The agent, Linda Armstrong, and her team did the best they could with a very difficult and unethical buyer. We do truly believe she cared about us and getting that house sold. But man, what a mess that guy created! He had that poor woman in tears for no reason other than he likes being a bully. Our only fault with the agent is that she believed the guy was a decent human being far longer than he deserved. Once we all cleared that little misconception up, we were able to have things proceed. Eventually, the broker/owner, Ellen Coffman, had to come in to get the deal done. With her protection, both the agent and we were able to achieve the impossible -- that house off our hands!! In my opinion, had the transaction gone in even a remotely normal manner, these ladies would have made it smooth sailing. That it was such a pain in the patoot was no fault of theirs. They pulled the job off against some pretty towering odds (a buyer who threatened to walk every time the weather changed, and come on, this is the Midwest!!), and we are very grateful!
