+ -1 moreThe pipe was fixed but when we got the bill he charged us $624 labor plus $90.96 supplies. When I inquired about the charge and asked what his hourly rate was he replied $96/hour. That comes to 6.5 hours of labor. I was astounded and appalled by the large invoice because the plumber did not spend a lot of time on this problem other than replacing the pipe.
Description of Work: The plumber came to our house on 6/15/2016 and 6/17/16. On 6/15 he gave my husband advice only on what to look for in the pipe leak. He was only at the house for less than 1 hour. My husband did the work and cut the ceiling out. On 6/17/16 the plumber came back and cut out leaking pipe and replaced with pvc/dmv pipe and fittings. He did not close up the hole or reinstall toilet--my husband did that. He was only there for under 3 hours.

+ -1 moreLeft two messages with this plumber - one of the messages was left with his wife directly - we never got any return calls. If this plumber does excellent work, we will never know it because we won't be calling back
Description of Work: .Nothing. We tried to set up an initial appointment for him to assess a major problem with the all the drains in the house - no sinks, tub or toilet can be used. Complete back up in all drains. He was to be a 2nd opinion for us.

Description of Work: We have had many people work on our sump pump, but Leo Brown is the one who got it right. He is super professional, targets the problem and doesn't overcharge. He fixed several things while he was here, and took initiative to fix something he heard wasn't right.

+ -1 moreLeo had my answer, and fixed my booboos promptly and with innovation. Now that I'm the right track again, I'm good to go, and I can finish the job. Leo worked quickly, and was friendly. Good guy. Now I know why my brother in law suggested him :-)
Description of Work: Leo finished a plumbing job that I started. The project got beyond my capability, and Leo bailed me out.
