Emergency Plumbing & Sewer

I called Emergency Plumbing and Sewer, and they had someone out that day. The worker asked a couple of questions, looked at the pump, and agreed with my assumption that there was a leak. I also suggested that it might be in this deep mound of dirt behind the house because we had seen some water on the patio adjacent to this area. He agreed that the leak was probably there, but said he had no way to get to the pipe and fix it. He put a call into someone else who I thought was a part of this company, but turned out to be some guy who owns a landscape company with a backhoe (who came that day, but ran me around like crazy, asking tons of questions, and charged me $650.00 to dig up the area and fix the pipe). That was all that was done by Emergency Plumbing and Sewer, so not sure if I would hire them again or not. They really didn't do that much. The guy with the backhoe seemed to think that they should have done more to assess what the problem was, like priming the pump and doing a little exploratory digging with a shovel in the area or the possible leak.

Office staff answered immediately and were polite and responsive. Jim showed up as promised and was friendly and professional. He was able to perform the install and work was done neatly and of high quality. He even hauled away the old dishwasher. Would use again without hesitation.

Plumber showed up on time and responded professionally to correct and clear drains in our kitchen and bathroom. I would gladly use this company in the future.

On a Saturday, after trying to fix a gurgling and slow moving drain with no success, I called Emergency Plumbing and Sewer. He returned my call very promptly and arrived at my home shortly after. He used a cutter on the end of a power snake and cleared a clog in the main drain to the septic tank. He was very pleasant and professional ($50 of the cost was due to it being a weekend). I was very grateful to have such prompt service. The only reason I gave a B for price was that I have not had this type of work done before so I had nothing to compare it to. I was not unhappy with the price especially since it was a Saturday. And again, he arrived very quickly and I thought it was worth it to use the toilet again!
