I called Hare Electric because my mother-in-law has had them do electrical work for her and the rating was excellent on Angie's list. Since no one answered their phone I had to leave a message but never received a call back. I called another company which responed very quickly, had a great estimate so I had the job done. I consider it rude for this company not to at least acknowledge my phone message. Guess he really didn't need the work!

When people came out to do the work, I had bought the wrong part and they were not helpful and did not assist in getting the right part. Therefore I did not call them back.

They were easy to work with and fair price

They came in a couple weeks before they did the work gave us an estimate to do both jobs and completed both jobs over a two day stretch.

Bruce came out, offered a solution on updating the garage service and did a great job on the repair, very happy. They did a great job at a very reasonable price. Will call them for all my electrial work.

He did an excellent job. He walked three floors, from the basement to the third floor, checking everything. He was very informative and told me where I needed to change out a couple things, which we were able to do. I will be using him again.

I put in an emergency call to re-hang downed power lines from Hurricane Sandy. Within 30 minutes, the owner, Bruce returned my call and had his crew onsite within 1.5 hours. They repaired the lines quickly and for less than I expected to pay under the circumstances. Now I can get a tree company in the driveway to remove a fallen tree. I rate this as stellar service considering the widespread damage caused by the Hurricane. I will definitely use Hare Electric again and not hesitate to recommend them.

Bruce and his guys were very professional. They worked quickly and diligently to get the job done. The best part is they cleaned up after themselves which is more then i can say for most contractors out there. We will use them again in the future !

Overall, it went very well. In this case, I was treated as though I were spending 10 times the amount I did. The electrician arrived on time, was pleasant and it was done quickly. I will undoubtedly use this service again.

He did a good job. He came in during the process of fixing the damage and was in the middle stage. He’s good at what he does and his prices are reasonable.

It didn't go at all - very poor communication and response - none at all really . this service should consider a phone that pages out their phone messages -

My husband had already purchased gutter heaters but thought the job to be too big for him to carryout. Bruce came out to see what needed to be done. Bruce sent his crew out the next day to perorm the work. Initially they seemed to have some issues (not sure if it was with one another or with what needed to be done). There was a slight problem with installation as we do not have a shingled roof in the rear of the house. Between roofing nails and asphalt glue the heaters were installed. Bruce came out to the house to check on progress. The easier part was installation of the electrical switch to control the heaters. Things look great - we just have to wait until the snow flies to see how well they work. We will definitely call Bruce for any electrical projects we have in the future.

Hare Electric was helpful, on time, on estimate, and a pleasure to work with. They also understood our desire to ensure that all was working well electrically but to also be affordable on the price.

After I called Hare Electric I receved a prompt response and was given an estimate of $95.00 for the labor to install the lighting fixture that I had purchased from Lowe"s Mr. Hare told me the names of the two gentleman that would arrive to do the work. These workers arrived on time, completed the work in a workman like manner. The cleaned up all debris and disposed the old fixture. We could not be more satisifed with this experience with Hare Electric.. I will call the company for all future electrical work.

Bruce needed to reschedule the first appointment...no problem with that. But then we subsequently had it scheduled for a weekday and he said he'd be there between 11 and 11:30. After waiting for 40 minutes (it's a unoccupied rental property and had to drive there), I called him at 11:40 and left a voice mail. Waited until 11:45 and then left. He called me back at 11:57 and said he'd be there in 10-15 minutes with no apology or explanation why. I explained I had already left and wasn't inclined to do business with him. What would you have done?

Hare was one of 4 electricians to provide an estimate. Though not the lowest price, he had a reasonable bid and listened carefully to the scope of the work we wanted done. He patiently answered all of our questions and did the promised work at the promised price.

Very good and confident. Did a number of tasks for me. They were professional and cheerful. They modified instructions I gave them. They did an excellent job and I would recommend them to anyone.

The main circuit breaker for the house tripped four times in one afternoon. We explained that the dryer and air conditioner were the only appliances going each time. They checked the circuit board and tightened a few lines. They checked the line to the dryer. When checking the air conditioner, they found the fuse box was for a 30 amp and the compressor called for a 50 amp. They replaced the box and informed me they thought I should call the electric company to check the connections at the house and the pole as they appeared to be old. The electric company did replace the line and both connections. We have not had any problems since. The electricians came out the same day I called and explained everything to me as they went along. I would definite call them again for any electrical work.

Wonderful. I would highly recommend him. His pricing is great! He tried to be as clean as possible. At his price he was wonderful. He seemed to know what he was talking about. He could of made more money off of me but he did not want it.
