The service person came out, was quick to analyze the issue, explained what the issue was and fixed it quickly. He also gave good advice and tips about the electrical wiring in our house. Will contact Hare Electric again, if or when needed.

Hare Electric did a very nice job. The electrician was very personable and they promptly got to work. Fixed the problem and went above and beyond by mounting a junction box to the garage wall for easy access later on.

The job started routinely enough. Bruce came out to review the work to be done. I had several electrical jobs that I needed help with. He promised to get me a written estimate. But he never followed up. Nothing. After a few days, I called and left a message asking when I could expect to receive the estimate. He never returned the call. I sent a follow-up email. But he never responded. Look, I get it. You're busy. But that's no excuse for being rude and discourteous. If you didn't want to do the work, just tell me -- so I can contact another electrician. It's just not how you treat people.

Fixed broken fixture after determining what was wrong then solved a breaker issue that had been happening.

The guys showed up on-time and were great. I had 3 ceiling fans installed with no existing fixture. Light switches previously ran to outlets in the room. They suggested putting in a switch to control the light and the fan separately for a few extra bucks and it made a huge difference. I will definitely hire again for any future electrical work.

Can't remember if this job was summer of 2016? or 2017? The price was $320. -$340. and was completed within an hour. Owner came over to check on the scope of the job for pricing and to set up a time when he could return to do the work. He sent two knowledgeable young gentlemen within 6- 10 days who did a fine job. Admittedly, I was surprised at how quickly the job was completed (by mostly one person) who appeared to be in no rush. Job was completed without incident. I hired this company because it was the fastest I could get someone out for the most reasonable negotiated price.

Great experience dealing with Hare Electric. Came out within a few days to talk about the work I wanted done and provided me with a detailed written estimate quickly. I had two fuse boxes on different floors and a outdated circuit breaker. Not a single hole in any of my walls was required for running the wires from fuse box down into the basement. Other contractors wanted to demolish the wall or not even touch that fuse box. Installed 100 amp service and combined everything into a 30 panel circuit breaker in basement. The outside electric meter had to be moved to a new location in order to be up to code. Very accommodating to my work schedule and job was scheduled within two weeks. Secured the electrical permit from the City for me. Crew showed up both days on time and did a fantastic job. They were very polite, answered my questions and cleaned up the area each day. I would highly recommend Bruce (owner) and his crew. I have now added Hare Electric to my phone book as "my electrician."

Only communicated via e-mail, my calls were never answered. The work was electric baseboards installed in my third floor unit. The thermostats installed did not have a true shut off, my tenant was being charged $400/mo for electrical. I had another company come in and install individual thermostats at each baseboard, upon their inspection, they found that the circuit wires inside the panel box for the baseboards were not securely connected. The loose connection resulted in sparks which was a huge fire hazard. On top of it all, the wire size did not support the amount of current drawn from these baseboards, which was another fire hazard. We had to remove one of the baseboards. Upon removing the baseboard, we found a 3 inch hole that was cut for the wires, the hole should have been a fraction of this size. Now I have a large hole that I need to fix. There was a hole in my wall next to the original thermostat installed. Some junction boxes did not have covers, leaving exposed wires. I would not recommend using Hare Electric for anything more than a small job.

The job took two days to complete, they were professional, cleaned up as they went along, had the best bid, and came in several hundred dollars under budget. I not only recommend them but would hire them again. I will be doing so when we install the second bath and room addition later this summer ..

They were punctual and when the job got expanded they added more men to get the job done in a timely manner

Went very well. The first time the crew came out was to trouble shoot why we suddenly had no electric to the garage. They figured out there was a break somewhere along the existing line, which was buried in the ground underneath our brand new deck. 😞 Rather than have our deck torn out to track down old line, the crew installed a new line to the garage. It took a couple months between the first service call (figuring out the problem) and second call (actually installing line) but I believe that was due to winter and a majority of it being outside work.

Overall the job went very well. I noticed a couple of light switches not working at the conclusion of the job. However, I asked about the light switches and immediately the workers went into problem-solving mode. I was told that there must be a sub-panel somewhere in the house, which I did not know where to direct them. No problem! They found the panel and resolved the issue quickly and efficiently. Please note: I recently submitted a very negative review on 12/8/17. I am submitting this review as a revision to the previous one. Granted, I had some communications concerns with the owner, but after speaking with him on the phone all misunderstandings were cleared. He has two awesome sons that work in the company that helped to make my experience pleasant.... professional, and quality work completed. Thank you!

The team of 2 arrived within the appointment window and did a great job! They kept me informed of my options throughout the process and completed all the work in less than the 60 minutes time frame included with my Angie's List offer. They were courteous, kept the work area clean and were easy to work with. I had some of the items they needed and was able to purchase other items directly from them at a fair price. I will use them again! The cost below is the offer plus extra items I bought to complete the jobs. They completed more jobs then I expected could be done in the 60 minute time frame.

Paid for a service call + 1 hour of labor. After several emails to this company, I finally received a brief service call, but no follow-up regarding the work I was requesting. I emailed this person/company again many times requesting a response; which I have yet to receive, nor have I received 1 hour of labor for the money that I paid already. Very unprofessional!
