The company's owner and crew were great. They were professional, polite, and punctual. They explained what steps were involved in the project and thoroughly answered all my questions.

He came out right away and gave a free estimate. He then sent someone else out to make the repair. They did not try to sell me any additional services and I will use them again in the future.

used an Angie's list coupon. This company was on time and did a great job in terms of repairing what was needed. They were very courteous and probably saved our lives by finding a light socket in the basement that displayed blackened connections

OMG, if you ever want to feel truly comfortable hiring an electrician, Hare Electric is who you should call!!! Three young men arrived exactly when they promised and were able to diagnose several problems we had, including my getting shocked whenever I touched the basement floor (OUCH!) and our dishwasher and garbage disposal tripping the circuits whenever on together. A home walk-through was performed and several fears of mine were allayed when told that "This is code - no problem". The rest of my fears were allayed when I was informed that none of the electrical problems we had were difficult ones to fix. They then added lights in the basement and installed a kitchen peninsula outlet. All in a timely fashion, and with the utmost professionalism and friendliness. Thanks so much Hare Electric!!

All I can say is, FANTASTIC service provider! Bruce's team worked quickly and efficiently and completed all the tasks in record time. Very friendly, personable and professional; loved them! I highly recommend them to anyone - I will be using them for all my electrical needs. BTW - I've also leveraged the $95 coupon for the first hour of service, which is a great deal. I think it took a little under 2 hours to complete all of these "to dos."

The service went terrible. It was clear the light fixture needed attention and he put the responsibility on me. He was not willing to go to the store to get a new fuse for the light. I even told them I would pay additional for them to do that. He seemed very uninterested in the job and like he did not want to do the job. I thought the deal was a waste of money. The electrician did give me 1 tip to keep from overloading the outlets upstairs. The tip did not really make a difference.They showed up on time to the appointment.

The two young men who did the work were courtesous and respectful to us personally as well as careful with our home. I had just painted and purchased new furniture and they were very careful. We had an ice storm that morning and we communicated several times before they got there, they were not late but we kept in touch (I wasn't sure from where they were coming and wanted to be sure they knew our street was icey). They cleaned up after themselves, did not diley-daley and we were very happy with the results. I had an appointment away from home and we talked about how low to hang the chandelier. They waited for my husband to send me pictures and verify I was happy with the height of the finished chandelier. It was beautiful. My husband also asked they look at a couple other outlets. I would most definitely use this company again. And I appreciate the care that was taken of my home by the two young gentlemen who performed the work.

These guys were fanastic! They arrived on time and worked their tails off. They went above and beyond by letting me know my washer was leaking and looking at my dishwasher that was not working. They even clean better than I do too. Bruce has trained and brought up his sons and employees to be polite, professional and great at their craft. I plan to hire them again in the spring for other electrical work. Highly recommemded!

Found loose connections in breaker panel. Crew was thorough and interested in finding the problem. Also took apart light fixtures and checked connections. Knowledgeable and professional.

Performed action which restored power to outlets. Was not aware of other line problems which may be difficult (and more expensive to diagnose). Power to outlets failed again after a few months. Not sure what total solution would be at this point.

The experience was great. They did the job as required and it really went well. I would recommend them which I have. It took a while, but it was not their fault because we were out of town. There were no issues encountered. It was pretty straightforward. They are extremely dependable and reliable. They will complete the job to your satisfaction. They are good people.

The guys that came were professional and polite. After a bunch of troubleshooting, they determines it was not a safety issue. They were not able to find the problem in the hour I paid for through a promotion, but offered me a couple of solutions from troubleshooting some more to installing a new circuit to eliminate the problem altogether.

Could not get work scheduled in amount of time. Company was still great.

I scheduled a visit a week and a half in advance. They were due to show up on Wednesday 10/29. Someone called and left a voicemail the evening before that they would not be able to send anyone for my visit...which first of all is ridiculous because I had an appointment for a week and a half. I would not have been as disappointed if someone followed up. I never saw the voicemail, so initially I was really angry as I sat there and waited for my service call. I proceeded to try and contact them on two different phone numbers all day that day, and left several voicemails myself for a call-back. Hare Electric still has not called back to make a follow-up appointment. It is due to their unprofessionalism in my situation that I would never call them for service, nor recommend them to anyone else in the future. If someone can't even call you back, they don't deserve your business.

We originally hired Hare Electric using a coupon from Angie's List to repair an outlet at our previous house a few months ago. We have recently moved and our now current home had out- of- date light fixtures that needed to be replaced in the dining room, foyer, bathroom, hallways, etc. There were also a few outlets that needed to be repaired. The crew arrived on time as promised, answered questions, made suggestions for future improvements, was very professional, and cleaned up after themselves. They completed the work in a timely manner and the price was acceptable. We definitley will use Hare Electric in the future and will recommend them to others.

I contacted Bruce via Angie's List and he responded in a reasonable length of time. I described the problem and he immediately stated what he would do and generally how much it would cost. Bruce had extensive experience in duplexes in Lakewood. When I sent pictures of what needed to be done, he was very familiar with it and had done it before. Due to an FHA inspection, I asked if the GFCI work could be done prior to the inspection and Bruce accommodated that need. The remaining work was scheduled and completed within the time frame we needed to have the work done to accommodate the sale of the house. The city inspector signed off on the project without issue. The only negative experience that I had was that two GFCIs that were discussed were missed in the initial work. As soon as I brought this to Bruce's attention, he had it taken care of the next day. I was impressed with how neat the work area was left. It is a small company, so you won't find a customer service team to answer your call and you may have to work around Bruce's schedule to get your work estimated, scheduled and done. However, Bruce was able to meet our deadlines and was willing to work with us to do that. I recommend Hare Electric and gave his name to my realtor to pass on to others.

It was good. They came and did exactly what I asked them to do. He has worked for me before and they are great.

This has to be one of the best electricians I've ever hired. Their knowledge and professionalism were outstanding. There were several complicating factors with our older home, and they addressed each one with patience and careful attention to detail.

Services were performed as requested, and Mr. Hare was very responsive. Because this work was performed at a rental property, it is sometimes a hassle for contractors to communicate with both the owner and the tenant; however, in this case, Mr. Hare handled everything smoothly and quickly.

Called stating that I was looking for a Sat. appt. that weekend to install monorail light fixture. Bruce said that the guys he would send would not know how to install the fixture so he declined the work. Not sure if he wanted me to make a weekday or after hours appt. when someone who was capable to install the fixture was available or what as he did not say, which leads me to think he did not want the job. Will either get one of guy friends to install or just do myself. Anyway he got back promptly after I had left a message asking for him to call.

While the solutions were relatively straightforward and quickly dealt with, the team was knowledgeable and professional. Only preference would be to have non-smoking workers, but not a huge deal.

He was supposed to provide an estimate. It’s been three weeks and I’m still waiting on an estimate. He indicated he would get the estimate to me in two days.

Their crew showed up on time and was considerate of anyone in the house during their work. This was a difficult job, but they persisted over nearly a week. They not only corrected illegals splices, but they added a couple porcelain sockets for basement lights as well as a couple GFI outlets in laundry area and workshop. They went above and beyond to get things right. Bruce Hare was on site several times to observe the crew's efforts, and we're very pleased with the finished work.

Two people showed up, assumed they just had to replace the switch, told me it was not the switch and they had not budgeted the time for any further work. Told me the company would contact me about a return visit. Never called, and did not return my call.
