The 2 techs arrived exactly within the time frame that was given. They worked efficiently, quietly and were done with the list of issues within four hours. One of the bulbs in one of the new fixtures was broken and they went to purchase a replacement. They cleaned up after themselves and even patched holes in the ceiling where the old, nasty track lighting had been. They were friendly and kept me up-to-date with their progress. I was very happy with the service and definitely would hire them again!

It went okay, I purchased some ceiling fans and they replaced them. For $50.00 more he replaced an outlet as well which I think was reasonably priced. They worked really fast with three workers.

Luke and Gary could not have been more helpful. The installed the light very quickly and I had about 1/2 hour left on the appointment. I asked if they could install a new doorbell for me. It turns out the doorbell kit did not have all the necessary parts included. They showed me where it should be mounted and told me if I decided to do it, I probably would not require an electrician. I was very impressed by their honesty and professionalism. I would not hesitate to use Hare Electric again and I am sure I will. I highly recommend them.

Although I confirmed in advance that the electrician would be coming to replace an existing outlet with a recessed outlet and would come with the outlet, the two who showed up did not know that this was why they were here and had to go out and purchase one. One then stood around while the other replaced the outlet and the whole job took well under an hour. They did help me physically put the HD TV that was going in front of the outlet back on the wall on the existing hook up. I actually tried to contact the owner to schedule an in home estimate for additional work at his convenience when the two he sent said they could not do it while they were there. He confirmed the appointment with emails. He failed to show up and also failed to call or email with an explanation. I had to contact again only to find out I had been forgotten. This is why I will not use them again. I believe appointments made should be kept and when not, kept, the provider should make the effort to contact the customer and make amends.

.See above. The same day they drove a mile to look at my other property, told us we needed a new bathroom fan motor and said they would order it for me. I never heard from them again, so I had to hire someone else. Overall, a lot of money for couple guys to not replace my defective fuse, sealed a few outside outlets only and never return for my other repair. I am very concerned that they are doing this to other people: charging $95 for a couple non-electricians to waste time and talk to their father, the electrician on the phone and find a way to not do anything other than remove and replace the same outlet(s) as a way of looking busy. nI am guessing on the date of service, but it was within the last few months and I used a $95 Angie's coupon.

Dissatisfied with service. Took three days to complete service and one of the installed security lights still does not function they way it is supposed to. First day they arrived nothing was installed. Returned second day and installed; did not have ladder, had to use mine. Had to return third time because one of the security lights was not working because of loose wiring. I felt the cost they charged for labor was unreasonable.Two techicians came and I was charged labor cost for both per the two days. Would not use again or make recommendation for their service. Nice guys but lacking in experience and tack.

This was not a big job for people who know their stuff and they know their stuff. They disassembled the fixture (and then replaced it,) repaired a loose switch, performed the necessary analytics and gave me a plan to resolve the issue, which turned out to be a faulty socket in the fixture itself. Additionally, they replaced a loose outlet in another part of the house. The men were knowledgeable and professional. Very pleased with the company and will use them again.

I really wanted to give this company a great review. I am shocked that my experience wasn't aligned with what many others experienced. I will begin with saying that Bruce was great, very honest, thorough and answers any and all questions. He told us the that we shouldn't redo our knob and tube and gave us a thorough reason why. It was great that he wasn't an opportunist and instead was very honest. Due to this great experience, I instead had his team work on some other projects. I had them put can lights in which was about $1000-$1500. This is where I was very unhappy. There are a bunch of patches in my ceiling from where they placed them wrong and also where they went through the joists. I know they need to go through the joists and that a few holes would need to be drilled but my ceiling is a mess now. I now have to hire someone and pay them even more to fix the ceiling. Within the same project I had them place an outlet. Both the outlet and the new switches and switchplate for the new lights were off white when the rest of the house is white. Which I told him and he immediately sent out some guys the next day to fix, which they didn't seem enthused about. But Bruce fixed the problem. They also had to replace a bulb that had already burnt out within a few hours. What really broke the camel's back was I had them come back out to do an outdoor job. I wanted them to put a couple outlets in for a patio. Bruce gave me a price for the job and I schedule it. His guys came out and after about an hour they told me the job was too complex and would be 3-4 times more expensive and they couldn't do it that day. As if this wasn't frustrating enough, I still asked if they could get me a final estimate and also give me an estimate if I did some of the required labor of digging myself. They said that they would. I never heard back after that. Again, I wanted to give a good review because Bruce was so great when I met him. He was honest and knowledgeable. But unfortunately, a lot of my experience was negative and could have been avoided with some attention to detail and follow through.

Service was scheduled very fast - ordered 28 Aug, installed 1 Sep. A crew of two young men did the job. Not completely professional (first attempt missed a wire) but good enough. Some initial problem in mounting it flush to the ceiling, but with some prompt got the job done. Ceiling marked up a little but I was able to clean it. Whole job took about 30 min. In the future I will probably do something similar myself so the $95 "lesson" was well worth it. I would consider Hare for other electrical tasks.

The two techs were courteous, prompt, professional and very efficient. The work done was grade A all the way.

Came out checked the switch and decided it was the transformer. Went and picked up transformer, replaced it, tested it was okay.

I went with Hare Electric without getting another quote because Bruce was so knowledgeable and nice when he met with me to do an electrical inspection during my home-buying process and the price he gave was very reasonable. He was great about meeting with me during a tight time window so I could keep things moving for the sale. Bruce was explained what we needed and didn't need done and answered all my annoying first-time home buyer questions. They had some issues at another job site that prevented them from getting here on the first day we had planned for the two-day job, but they called and kept me informed about when they would be able to make it and they got the job done promptly once they got started. Overall, I had a great experience using this company and intend to use them again for another project.

We are out of town buyers of a home that is over 100 years old and needed to be updated. Bruce was very responsive which we appreciated because some electricians didn't even return our phone call. In addition, replacing knob and tube wiring is something that others were hesitant to take on. Hare Electric did an excellent job. They showed up on time, finished the work in a timely manner and came in under their original estimate. We would definitely use them again and would strongly recommend them to others.

It was fine. Everything was well except the timing was a little slow only because of the heavy workload. Overall, I was satisfied. I've even referred them to someone.

They were friendly, but told me that all they could do is an hour of work because they had other appointments. So they just took my coupon that I had for an hour of work and left. Their was 3 guys there and all they did was install 2 outlets and reconnect motion lights. Even though I told them all the stuff that was needed. I call them back to rescheduled for them to come back to finish what I wanted and they told me that they would call back never did.

Hare Electric was great! We had such a great experience we hired them to do all the electrical work for our kitchen renovation. All the employees were very nice and extremely helpful. They were honest and did quality work. We were very grateful to be introduced to Hare Electric through the special deal with Angie's List and I highly recommend them!

I bought one hour for $95 and scheduled through Angie's List. It took a couple of months before we were able to schedule due to my being out of town or Bruce being out of town. Bruce always replied promptly to my emails. Two of his employees did the work and were prompt, courteous and professional. They had to replace the garage opener button but didn't have the same kind. The worker was creative and used what he had to fashion a new, functional switch.
