The siding looks great and they paid attention to detail, which was very important to me because I love my old colonial house. Owner Jim Gilbert is very professional and I felt like he was honest in letting us know that some boards on our porch would need replaced and it's time for a new roof. My only complaint was that the communication during the job was not great. If I wanted to know anything, I had to ask. My husband and I worked while the men were at our house, so we weren't sure if they were working full days or not. The job took 4 1/2 weeks. In all fairness, it was done over the Christmas/New Years holidays and 2 guys quit and weather stretched out the job a bit. I told Jim communication needed improvement so that we know the reason why they didn't work for 2 days. He agreed. We also told him to inform homeowners that scrap and trash will not be picked up until the end of the job. Apparently this is common, but we didn't know that. They cleaned up very well in the end.

AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE I WAS INFORMED BOTH AIRKO AND POLARIS HAD A LIFETIME WARRANTY AS NOTED ON MY CONTRACT. I CALLED POLARIS DIRECTLY, SPOKE TO A CSR WHO WOULD NOT LISTEN TO MY WARRANTY ISSUE, HE IMMEDIATELY SAID I WOULD BE CHARGED $60.00 TO HAVE A SERVICE TECH COME TO MY HOME TO INSPECT THE WINDOW. SINCE I WAS NOT INFORMED OF THIS CHARGE AT THE TIME OF PURCHASED, I WAS SURPRISED WITH THIS REMARK. I CALLED AIRKO. THEY SAID THEY WOULD HELP ME AND ASKED ME TO CALL BACK WITH MORE DETAILS. HE SAID THIS WILL HELP DETERMINE WHO HE WOULD SEND TO MY HOME. AFTER LEAVING 3 VOICE MESSAGES, AN NOT RECEIVING A RETURN CALL, I TRIED TO CALL A 4TH TIME. GOT A LIVE VOICE. WHEN I SPOKE AIKRO THEY WERE VERY DEFENSIVE AND SAID THEIR IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO FOR ME. SAID I NEED TO CONTACT POLARIS AND PAY THE $60.00 SERVICE FEE. VERY UPSET THEY ARE NOT HONORING THE LIFETIME WARRANTY AS OUTLINED ON THEIR CONTACT. BUYERS BEWARE, YOU WILL BE A CHARGED $60.00 SERVICE FEE ON WARRANTY CLAIMS.

Airko responded right away when the homeowner called. Our controller met with the homeowner and discussed why they were having air issues. The home heating system was not supplying heat properly to the room allowing for the walls to feel cool. HVAC company confirmed the condition. Windows never had issues, was just the lack of understanding on the part of the homeowner. It is always best to listen to the professionals and try to understand their explanations.

THE TEAM SHOWED UP AS SCHEDULED AND DID A WONDERFUL JOB. THEY INSTALLED THEM IN TWO DAYS. THERE WAS NO MESS WHEN THEY LEFT. ONE WINDOW HAD A SMALL DENT IN IT. THEY IMMEDIATELY ORDERED A NEW ONE. ONCE THE NEW WINDOW IS SHIPPED THEY WILL INSTALL IT. THE WORKERS WERE PLEASANT AND FRIENDLY. WE WILL BE USING THEM AGAIN TO INSTALL SOME DOORS. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

AIRKO REP., DAVE AND JIM HAVE BEEN TO MY HOME TO LOOK AT MY WINDOWS, BUT SAY THERE NOTHING THEY CAN DO AND THAT I NEED TO WORK WITH THE WINDOW MFG, POLARIS. POLARIS REP. IS SAYING FROM WHAT HE CAN SEE, THERE IS NOT A DEFECT IN THE WINDOWS. THERE HELP RESOLVING THIS ISSUE HAS BEEN VERY POOR AND FRUSTRATING FOR MS AS A CONSUMER. I HAVE ADDITIONAL WINDOWS TO PURCHASE AND THOUGHT THEY WOULD WANT TO HELP ME RESOLVE THE ISSUE. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AIRKO. THEY ARE ONE OF THE MOST UNCUSTOMER FOCUSED COMPANIES I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. I HAVE GIVEN UP WITH TRYING TO GET AIRKO TO RESOLVE MY DRAFT ISSUE AND AM CURRENTLY LOOKING AT REPLACING THE WINDOWS

As stated Airko did respond several times but found no issues with the windows. Some homeowners just do not understand windows and the proper function of energy efficiency. It is very important to learn the manufacturing qualities in new windows.
