Lousy. No follow through. I think John made up his mind it was too late in the year to do a concrete drive for me but he didn't bother to let me know same. He had such a high rating with the BBB too. My biggest pet peeve is contractor that doesn't follow through, like this company.

It went great. They were there on time, ready to work. I didn't have to worry about anything and they were done in a very timely matter.

The driveway was old and in serious need of repair, many cracks, damaged surface. I checked numbers in the phone book for a repair service. I picked Samartano Concrete Company after phone book check, several calls to other companies, and word of mouth information from an aquaintance. After phone discussion, an employee was sent to evaluate the driveway and discuss options. I was given information related to both repair and replacement of my driveway with asphalt or concrete. I chose the asphalt repair. A date was set that met my needs (I would be out of town frequently) during the time I desired the repair. The repair was done during my absence. I returned to a driveway that looked new, not repaired. It greatly enhanced the appearance of my property. No damage to grass or shrubs occurred, everything was neat/clean. I received a call a week later to question my satisfaction. I offered only praise as I was so pleased with the work done, the efficiency and the accomodations to my needs. The overall professionalism impressed me. I would highly recommend Samartano Cocrete Company to a family member, friend or neighbor.

John quickly called back the same day and made an appointment for that very afternoon. He was on-time, very professional, very personable. We talked about the details of the job, including color, stamp design, and the overall design of our landscaping project. We were interested in a 30' walkway with two sets of stairs across our backyard with 2 sets of stepways to account for the grade of the land. John was terrific, using his expertise to make suggestions but always allowing for the project to remain and quot;ours.and quot; As we walked across the project area in the backyard, John was attentive to the landscaping needs and features of our home. We were very impressed. We received three bids, and this company was at the high end. We had a VERY hard time making the decision to go with another company because John was so comprehensive, detailed and interested in making us happy. Also, I feel his experience allowed for better artistic designs with the stamping. We have decided to save money, but hopefully not at the cost of the overall product and design. We would definitely call the Samartano Concrete Co again for an estimate.
