 + 0 moreI love Dave Sigman and his crew. They always do a great job for me. Sometimes I have to wait for service, but it's worth it.
Description of Work: Repaired roof where needed and added a downspout to prevent future problems. Also cleaned gutters and sprayed roof with moss killer.

 + -1 moreTHE ROOFERS WERE ON TIME AND THEY DID A GOOD JOB CLEANING UP. I FELT WELL INFORMED OF MY CHOICES REGARDING THE WORK. I WAS VERY GLAD THEY WERE ABLE TO MATCH THE EXISTING SHINGLE COLOR. GREAT WORK.
Description of Work: WE HAVE A VERY OLD HOUSE AND IT WAS NEGLECTED BEFORE WE BOUGHT IT. THE ROOF WAS LEAKING ALL OVER THE PLACE. THEY PUT NEW SHINGLES ON THE ROOF AND MATCHED EXISTING ONES THAT WERE STILL OKAY. THEY ALSO DID THE PORCH ROOF. WE HAD FACIA BOARD REPLACED ALSO. THE SOFFETS, GUTTERS AND DOWNSPOUTS WERE WORKED ON AND PARTS REPLACED. THEY ALSO TOOK PART OF A BRICK CHIMNEY DOWN THAT WAS THREATENING TO FALL OVER AND DAMAGE OUR REMAINING SLATE ROOF.

I CAN''T SHOW YOU WERE DAVE''S WORK IS BECAUSE IT COMPLETELY BLENDS IN WITH THE ORIGINAL CRAFTSMANSHIP. I AM NOT LETTING ANYONE ELSE TOUCH THIS HISTORIC HOME. I HAVE HAD GOOD WORK BY ONE CONTRACTOR ONE TIME, AND POOR WORK BY THEM THE NEXT TIME. DAVE IS CONSISTENTLY OUTSTANDING. HE IS A FINISH CARPENTER WHO KNOWS ALL OF THE OLD CRAFTS AND HOW TO BRING THEM TO AN OLD (OR NEW) HOME. DAVE CUSTOM MOLDED THE NEW BANISTER AND IT LOOKS BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL. CROWN MOLDING HAD TO BE CUSTOM MADE, TOO, AND IT BLENDS RIGHT IN.IF THE WORK MATTERS, I RECOMMEND THROWING OUT THE LOW BID AND HIRING DAVE! CRAFTSMANSHIP WAS PERFECT. ALL FOR THE SAME PRICE AS THE NEXT BID UNDER CONSIDERATION (NOT THE LOWEST BID -- YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!). I WILL HIRE DAVE AGAIN FOR THE WORK THAT COUNTS.
