+ 0 moreI found the severe corrosion on one isolated part of the frame. From my internet research, I have come to find out that this is a relatively common problem with 4Runners of this era. Rod is very knowedgable about metal working and car frames and has done a lot of classic car work. As this was a safety concern, it gives me a lot of confidence that I went to an experienced craftsman.
Description of Work: My 2000 Toyota 4Runner with 170,000 miles had significant frame rust which had perforated the frame rail and the rear lower control suspension arm mounting bracket on the passenger side of the vehicle. I was concerned about the structural integrity of the frame. The muffler needed to be removed to provide access to the area (which I had done at another shop). Rod Farris removed the severe corrosion and welded back new plate. He was able to do the work right away and did a great looking job.

Description of Work: He welded the sub-frame to my car and also the front floor-panels and other areas of the car.
