Work was in the clean up stage when I got home from work. Dan walked me through what they had done, what I needed to do for the next day, and when they'd be back to apply the sealer. Dan and his team were courteous, professional, and thorough in their clean up. They did such a good job that we had neighbors come to the door to ask who did the work. We were happy to tell them.

The job was very done in about 6 to 7 hours. Each team member of the company knew their role throughout each phase of the installation of the new driveway. I was very amazed by the efficiency and comrode. A very good company .

I had Dan out on a Saturday to give us a bid on a sidewalk (6? x 22?) that in places would run along a patio (12? x 24?), and stairs on 2 sides of an existing landing. He got back to me with a bid on Sunday. When I let him know I was planning a surprise party for my husband in a few weeks, Dan squeezed our job in the next Wednesday and Thursday! Dan made suggestions for a few tweaks on our plan that made the project look great! The crew was great to work with.

Dan and his crew did an excellent job. He was very professional from the giving us the estimate through replacement. The new driveway looks GREAT! I would have no reservations about recommending his firm to anyone. His price was quite fair and his work was fantastic.

was very precise about the estimate and explained exactly what had to be done,how it would be done and why it had to be done.arrived at the site at the exact time stated and started working immediately on tearing out the old driveway and sidewalk. They didn't even let a hard rain shower slow them done. The entire crew was very knowledgable and worked well together. The entire job was completed in 2 days. Dan responded personally to a request for an estimate. He explained clearly what he recommended, what other options were available for us (e.g. also replacing the driveway approach...the area the city controls), and what problems we might encounter (e.g. lack of a proper foundation under the weather lip). His estimate was among the lowest, but he was clearly knowledgeable and experienced. We had not set a firm time for his crew to begin work and I was surprised when he called on a Sunday and asked if they could do the job Monday! That certainly was well within the time frame we had discussed. His crew is fast; everyone seems to know exactly what to do and how to do it. They were done (except for the section cuts) in a day. His price was exactly what he said it would be, and he added some additional driveway to each side near the garages at no charge. The crew did a pretty good job of cleaning up and restoring the turf they had cut out to make room for the wooden forms. Dan Few is old school. With guys like this, you really don't need anything in writing. The man just needs an agreement with a handshake.

Dan called back and after the estimate, was prompt and on-time each of the two days. His crew cleaned up well afterward, as well as removing all old concrete and the old shrub. Dan is very meticulous and quite professional. He actually designed our walkway that made the side of our house that faces the street very curb-appealing. Completed job in two days and we are very pleased with the outcome. We will use Dan Few again with our next project.

Dan Few was responsive and knowledgeable. He has over 30 years of experience, both residential and commercial, and it shows. He was professional in every way. We were very impressed with his crew and their attention to detail. Ours was a tough job because of all the shrubbery and the fact that the driveway is directly against the foundation of the house, so they could only work from one side of the driveway, but the crew worked carefully from the one available side, standing in the brush, to carefully finish the surface. Even though his price was not the lowest one we received, we consider it to be the best value because of the quality of the work.

Contacted several contractors from Angie's list who provided phone quotes, narrowed the field and had them do an on-site inspection and estimate. Dan showed up, did his inspection, measuring etc. He also gave me some advise on closing up a gap between the street and my driveway approach (which was outside the scope of the work to be done). Dan was one of the few quotes to include wire mesh in the cement pour. Most contractors use fiber in the cement which helps during the curing, but no real strength after it's dried (I researched this prior to starting this adventure). Dan gave a scheduling estimate of 3-5 weeks, but since my job was a single day of work, he may be able to fit me in sooner if his schedule opened up. I decided on Dan for the job, and less than a week later he called "Can do your driveway tomorrow?" This was great since it would be done prior to a vacation I planned. Dan arrived at 8AM, started working and in less than an hour the old driveway was done and they started leveling and setting up forms. About four inches of grass needed to be chopped and shoveled out along the sides (they replaced the cut out sections at the end of the job). They pushed back the mulch on the neighboring beds (they put that back too, at the end).. We waited for the cement truck, then Dan's crew went to town, working the cement, pull the wire mesh, leveling the cement, floating it, brooming finishing it (which wasn't easy since I have a number of shrubs abutting the driveway. They troweled the edges and by 3PM they were done. Al their equipment was packed up, no debris, grass was back, mulch was back and caution tape up do keep anyone from driving on it. He even added more caution tape so kids wouldn't walk on it from the sides. Two days later, he came back to put saw cuts into the driveway. Just need to wait for the power wash and sealing. Great job, done quick and neat.

Dan is very friendly and he patiently answered all of my questions. He also came out to perform the work exactly when he said he'd be there. The driveway looks great and the work was completed without any complications. I would definitely recommend him to others.

Dan quoted that he would complete this work in two days (I was surprised and was prepared for it to take up to five days). They started demolition at 8:00 am Monday. They cut a narrow widths of sod and placed them aside. The debris was removed and additional gravel base was placed immediately thereafter with forms in-place by mid-afternoon. There was also remedial work to correct the the porch edge adjacent to the stoop that was originally installed incorrectly by the original contractor. This required some saw cutting and repairs to the existing brick veneer in the vicinity of the stoop. The brick repairs were handled by an experienced mason that had contracted with Dan. They had hoped to pour the drive this same day (with the sidewalk and approach the next), but congested traffic cause a delay in obtaining all the gravel. Dan kept me informed and returned the following morning. They placed the reinforcing welded wire fabric, set depth stakes and got approval from the local building inspector. By late afternoon, they had installed and finish all the concrete work, replaced the sod, added a little topsoil, clean-up and placed protection tape. He gave us instructions on how long it needed to cure before walking and driving on it. We were extremely pleased with the results.

We obtained 3 bids for a concrete driveway (actually tried for a couple more but did not get a response on time). Dan Few's bid was about the same as another one we received (the third was much more). Dan took plenty of time talk to us and was very helpful in giving us some suggestions about the shape of the driveway--rather than just assuming it would be exactly the same as the old, asphalt, driveway (as the other two estimators had). He answered all of our questions in detail and was very professional and friendly. We are very, very pleased with the way the work progressed, including the timeliness and courtesy of the workers. Dan was on the job the entire time. The driveway looks great, and we've had several compliments from our neighbors. I would definitely recommend Dan to my friends.

The work was done as scheduled. The only wait was for the City of Columbus inspection, and that wasn't too long either. Our neighbors are impressed with the work Dan and his men did, several passed by and gave it the "thumbs-up".

Dan was not the lowest bidder on this job, but he was the only one who pointed out some deficencies in the original construction of our garage floor and explained what he would do to correct it. He also thoroughly explained how the work would proceed and the steps necessary to protect my driveway. He and his crew worked very hard and it became obvious that Dan is a perfectionist and demands that his people do the best job possible. They finished the job in two days. I am completely satisfied with their work and would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

Dan gave us an estimate based on my measurments, which we had accepted. First he noted I was over on my measurment, remeasured and adjusted the price down. He was also able to move us up on the schedule. This was good in some ways, but I was not able to be there and Dan had to deal with my wife. He kept her very well informed and put her at ease with his frank and honest explainations. There were some problems that needed extra work and expense that Dan explained to her and did not charge more for the extras. The work was done early and under what we had budgeted for. We have been very pleased with the contacts and everyone that came to work at our house were very professional. All of the workers were very courteous. They left our yard and everyplace they touched in perfect condition. No mess for us to clean up. They did everything they said they would do and more. They were on time and no surprises, You could tell they had been in the business for a long time.

All went well, Job was estimated to take a week, however was able to finish in four days in high 90's heat. Don't know how they stood working in the heat. At first glance the price seemed a little high, but Dan had previously done work for me and I knew the quality and workmanship in his jobs, so it was a no brainer to contract with him again. Work looks great.

This was a textbook perfect project from start to finish because Dan Few knows what he is doing and does it well.

Excellent experience. Pricing was in line with another estimate I received from another highly rated contracted. What made me choose Dan Few was that Dan pointed out that the step leading to my front porch had settled and was about 1" lower than it should be - I had not noticed this. Dan provided an estimate to replace he walkway/step. It took a little while to get the work done due to the rainy spring we had. But the crew was quick, well organized and very professional. They started at around 8am and were done by 3pm the same day. They did a great job of cleanup and with the exception of a few stepped on flowers (unavoidable due to the proximity to the work) everything turned out great. So far, the new concrete looks super!

Dan Few went above and beyond to ensure we received the best service possible including constant communication and suggesting on how to maximize our driveway space. I personally have never experienced service on this level from any contractor I have ever used, which have been many. Dan is very detailed oriented and goes the extra mile to make sure the job is done right. He rerouted our electric dog fence at the end of our driveway, uncovered and relocated a sprinkler head. Lastly, when pouring our driveway he noticed the cement was not mixed and prepared properly. Dan stopped the process, ripped out the partial poured concrete, and started over the next day. We opted for Asphalt because we did not like the required exposed aggregate that our development requires.

They arrived for work on time. They took one full day and came for 2 hours the very next day to finish the whole work. They did a fine job.
