Horrible!! Charlie is a nice man and supposedly has been doing this a long time but I was disappointed by his sloppy work. He does not take pride and doesn't seem to try to f his mistakes. He walked away from finishing the job instead of correcting mistakes including, a chiiped tile and broken door trim (original to a 1930's house) Charlie did sloppy work with the trim, he left clumps of caulk all over the trim (I could have done a better job). He replaced the tiles and did not line up the grout lines, they were supposed to be 1/8 inch and some were 1/2 inch to 1/4 inch sometimes in the same tile joint. He left grout under the trim all the way around the perimeter of the room. He left clumps of grout on the bottom of the cabinets. The whole job was very messy and unprofessional. It is also very hard to get him to call you back, calls at 9:30pm.
Description of Work: The owner Charlie Giametta was going to finsh a kitchen porcelain tile job that another contractor had completed about 3/4 of the work already. He was to replace about 10 tiles, take out existing grout and regrout the entire floor, put 2 reducers in the doorways and the shoe trim back around the perimeter of the kitchen. He also was going to add new trim under my cabinets but I have a curve in the cabinets and I did not like the vinyl trim so it was removed. He also put together a booth that was removed by the original contractor.

The owner came as requested to look at the area. He seemed knowledgeable and had good suggestions on how to approach the problem of the uneven floor. We looked forward to receiving his quote, but we never heard back from him in spite of leaving several messages on his answering machine.
Description of Work: We requested a quote on the cost of laying ceramic tile around the tub and on the floor in the bathroom and dressing area. The job was somewhat complicated because the floor was not entirely level.

Everything went very well. He is someone you would want working in your home. He was very careful and cleaned up his work area and kitchen so well.
Description of Work: Report Date: April 2, 2008. Installed backsplash in our kitchen. Cost: $800.00. I would hire him again. Home built in 1990. Description of Work: We had just had granite countertops installed in our kitchen and wanted a backsplash as well. The granite store recommended him and two others. Charles and the two others came out and gave us estimates. Charles was the lowest plus he had some great ideas on how to do the pattern. The other two were very close in price to one another but higher than Charles. We were very pleased with Charles and his work. The cost included the tiles and grout.
