Armor Paving & Sealing

I confirmed that Armor should proceed with work as per their estimate of 8/29/2011 for my sealing my driveway and that of my neighbor. They told me that work would be done in about two and one half weeks. After four weeks, I called and was told that due to the weather they were running behind and someone would call me within a few days. It has been an additional two weeks and no one has called an the work never performed. Why on earth is Armor Paving and Sealing rated so well by Angie's List with responsiveness like this?

As service area on details of company, they list and quot;entire areaand quot; as their service area. They are located in Reynoldsburg, but the, I have used companies in New Albany and Galloway, just as far away. When I called for quotes on houses in 43221 and 43206, the company said those were too far away. Don't really care, lots of options, but it would be nice if the info on the web page was corrected.

They did wonderful work. It rained that night and they were back out here the next morning to redo it. They did a beautiful job and I would absolutely use them again.

I was not at home when Armor arrived to start the project, my husband was. He said that the crew let him know they were starting. By the time I got home about noon, the old driveway asphalt was removed and nearly all the new asphalt was laid and being rolled. By 1:00 p.m. the driveway was finished. The driveway and surrounding areas were cleaned in, what I consider, a MORE than workman like manner. A few days later we received a bill for services rendered at or below the estimate. I highly recommend Armor Asphalt and Sealing. Our tiny job was treated as thoroughly and professionally as any large area job.

The problem is that we didn't care for them because they didn't tell us upfront that they subcontracted. So the people that actually did the work were from another company. We didn't know until we got a bill.

They were very thorough and did an excellent job recapping our driveway. Left no mess behind; very efficient.

The company was prompt from start to finish and did an outstanding job. I recommend them highly.

Armor did a nice job. I can't rate their price because the other two companies I contacted for an estimate never delivered so I have no basis for comparison. But otherwise I'm very satisfied. I got an estimate that included everything I wanted done and the work was completed in a short time frame and nicely done.

We did not have the work completed because the cost was outside our budget for the job at this time.

Excellent job! Carol in particular, will do everything to insure your schedule is maintained. Even looks better than other recently sealed drives in the neighborhood. You know who to call for any asphalt work!

I spoke with Carol and after giving her my address she stated that they do not service my area, even though the company profile states that my county is listed as an area of service. She then proceeded to ask how large my driveway was and when I stated that it was about an 1-1/2 acres in length. She then gave a new explanation that they were booked for the year and I should call back in the spring. Which is it? You don't service my area or only if it is going to bring in more money than a city driveway. Several conflicts with the info listed in the company profile and what Carol stated to me over the phone.

Customer service wise, this company is doing very well. Bud, who wrote the estimate, was very knowledgeable. The receptionists I talked to were nice as well. Calls were returned promptly. I scheduled Armor to seal my 544 sq. ft. driveway once on 7/26/06. They said it would be about three weeks. Over three weeks went by without one word from Armor. I then called to see what had happened on 8/14/06, and they had no record of me being on their schedule. I then had them schedule me again on 8/14/06, at which time they told me again three more weeks. On 9/5/06, I called to cancel the job. I never did hear from Armor during both periods.

Very polite, very professional, very clean. I was very impressed with the work. The foreman did a lot of work himself. They were very good all the way around.

Very pleased with work by both estimator and crew that completed the actual work. Completed in a very professional and timely manner.

THEY WERE ON TIME AS SCHEDULED AND COMPLETED THE JOB IN A TIMELY MANNER. HANDLED UNEXPECTED PROBLEMS WITH DRAINAGE AND COMPLETED THE JOB ON TIME.

THIS COMPANY DOES EXCEPTIONAL WORK! THEY WERE ABLE TO SCHEDULE AROUND NUMEROUS SUMMER VISITS AND OTHER WORK WHICH REQUIRED USE AND POTENTIAL DAMAGE TO DRIVEWAY. THE ORIGINAL ESTIMATOR, BUD ZEIGLER, SHEPHERDED ME THROUGHOUT THE PROJECT FROM INCEPTION TO COMPLETION. THEIR PROFESSIONALISM AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL IS SECOND TO NONE! I PLAN TO USE ARMOR FOR ALL FUTURE ASPHALT JOBS.

GREAT JOB! ALL WORK WAS DONE WHILE WE WERE ON VACATION. THEY REALLY TRIED TO GET THE JOB DONE WHILE WE WERE AWAY.

THIS COMPANY IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR ASPHALT WORK. THEY RESPONDED TO MY TELEPHONE CALLS PROMPTLY AND PERFORMED THE WORK WITHIN ONE WEEK. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

BE CLEAR WHAT YOU WANT-WHETHER THEY ARE TO DO ANY COLD PATCHING. ON THIS PROJECT, THEY DID NOT BRING COLD PATCH WITH THEM, BUT TWO BAGS WERE PURCHASED, AND IT WENT FORWARD WITHOUT A HITCH FROM THAT POINT ONWARD. VERY REASONABLE IN PRICE.

THE COMPANY COMPLETELY MESSED UP OUR DRIVEWAY HAVE BEEN WORKING WITH THEM FOR 4 MONTHS NOW AND IT IS STILL NOT RIGHT

I WAS REALLY SURPRISED THAT THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME. YOU DONT FIND THAT IN TOO MANY COMPANIES THESE DAYS. THE WORK WAS REALLY GOOD ALSO. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AND WOULD USE THEM AGAIN. CD

RESURFACED DRIVEWAY. EXCELLENT PRICE EITHER APPROPRIATE TO OTHER COMPANIES OR BETTER. TIP SHE SAYS IS FOR WORK LIKE THIS SCHEDULE OUT OF SEASON OR EARLIER THAN WHEN YOU PLAN TO GET THE WORK DONE.
