+ -1 moreHE SAID HE HAD FORGOTTEN THE STRIKE PLATE THAT GOES INTO THE DOOR FRAME AND HE WOULD BRING IT ANOTHER DAY. I SET UP AN APPOINTMENT ON THE FOLLOWING THURSDAY. I CALLED THEM 30 MINUTES BEFORE HE WAS TO BE HERE TO ASK IF HE WAS ON TIME. HE WAS 3 HOURS LATE FOR THE FIRST APPOINTMENT AND SHOWED UP AT 8:30 PM. THE WOMAN WHO ANSWERED THE PHONE, REPLIED THAT "HE HAD TO ORDER THAT AND IT WILL BE A FEW DAYS", HE HAD TOLD ME HE HAD FORGOTTEN IT. A STRIKE PLATE COMES WITH THE LOCK AND IS NOT SOMETHING TO BE ORDERED. SHE ALSO SAID, "HE ONLY DOES THIS PART TIME AND IT'S CASH ONLY". I TOLD HER I THOUGHT I WAS HIRING A PROFESSIONAL AND DEMANDED A PARTIAL REFUND FOR THE SERVICE HE DID NOT FINISH AS HE WAS PAID IN FULL ON THE FIRST TRIP. I TOLD HER NOT TO HAVE HIM COME BACK AND SEND ME A REFUND. I HAVE NOT HEARD BACK FROM HIM YET. HE WAS POLITE AND NEAT, BUT I WOULD NEVER HIRE HIM AGAIN.
Description of Work: I HAD A DEAD BOLT INSTALLED ON AN INTERIOR DOOR.
