+ -1 moreIt was a bad experience and we will not use or recommend their services. List of complaints: Knocked chimney over. Regular use of profanity by crew. Many "F" bombs. Fist fight among crew members. Had to tell them to leave. Should have called police. Was loud and bad- could be heard shouting on next block. **We were later told that this was not the first time this has occured. It was the result of a medical condition. However, instead of calling for help, they decided to throw punches instead. Owner hung up on husband when attempting to remedy situation. Was not willing initially to take responsibility for damages caused by crew. **Note that owner's wife (and secretary) was willing to talk and was apologetic.
Description of Work: Removed 2 trees.

+ -1 moreThe 1 thing I can recommend is to get a written estimate. We got the estimate of $500 and I was very happy with it. We just shook on it, but living in a rural area, that's not uncommon. We also decided on the date of the work which was Sat. the following week. They wanted to do it that Sat., but being Thanksgiving weekend, we weren't going to be home. Saturday, the 3rd came and went and no one showed. Around noon, we called and left a voice mail, but the call was not returned. Early on Monday, I called again and left another voice mail. This one was returned promptly and the men were there within the hour to do the job. The work was done beautifully and the clean up was perfect. Before they left, they had me look at the work and asked if I was satisfied. When I confirmed the price, the fellow told me it was $100 more than the agreed upon price. I really don't think this was some and quot;trickand quot; because the price was REALLY good. I think it was just because we didn't sign an estimate and the price was forgotten. We split the difference. Then I messed up and put the wrong date on the check and it had to be returned so I could write out another. Even though there were some problems, I was EXTREMELY PLEASED with the work and the price and would recommend O'Brians. Just get a written estimate.
Description of Work: We had 3 large trees trimmed - 2 oaks and a weeping cherry that was out of hand - and a large weeping willow bush removed.
