Walt provided great service for us. On both jobs, Walt came to our house prepared and didn't waste anytime getting the jobs done. He cleaned up after and probably left leaving our house cleaner than it was before! Would definitely recommend and we will use him again for future jobs.

I was running errands and got home at about 3 pm to find a message on my answering machine from Walt. I returned his call, leaving a message that I was home. Did not show at 4, never explained his no-show and never returned the call.

Walt has done two different jobs for me and both times I have found him to be extremely competent and hard working. His rates are very reasonable. He did a plumbing repair of a leaky pipe, installed a new toilet, and replaced a broken light fixture the first time. The second time he reset my mailbox and tore up and removed some old carpeting, padding and the tack strips. He goes above and beyond. I highly recommend him.

He arrived as promised work consistently until the job was complete.

Walt is incredible! He started on the agreed date and time. He was punctual every time. My project was supposed to be small, but after the waterproofing company removed the drywall we found a lot of problems. Walt not only handled every issue calmly and professionally, but he provided superior craftsmanship and tremendous attention to detail. When it was all said and done we had the family room of our dreams, but I never could imagine until Walt was on the project. There were also many crews working on the project and he was so incredibly accommodating to everyone's schedule. I had a hard stop date for a party that had been planned months prior and Walt made sure the project was finished in time so that the party was a success. Please note: Craftsmanship at this level takes time and flexibility. If you want the "real deal" call Walt. He is the best! We can't wait to hire him again!

We found Walt on Angie's List and hired him due to his substantial number of positive reviews. We were exceptionally pleased with the work Walt did. He came to our home to scope out the project and provide an estimate that we thought was a fair price. Walt is a highly skilled and conscientious craftsman. He put down drop cloths to protect our carpet, used a vacuum to clean up as work progressed, His caulking and grouting work is some of the best we have ever seen. When it comes to sweating copper fittings, his work is flawless. When studs to mount the multiple grab bars were not where we thought, he was very patient while we decided on new locations that would provide the best support protection for my wife. He has a well stocked tool trailer that has every tool that is needed for whatever situation that arises. Also these tools are of the highest quality to compliment his excellent workmanship. When he finished the job, he cleaned up his work area very well. He also called back in a timely manner after the project was finished to answer a question we had regarding sealing the tiles. We would recommend him for any job you might have, and our family will call on him for any future jobs we may need.

We had a drafty, 7 foot long double door replaced with a single door with side panels. Walt had to match up and replace the siding around the door in the front of the house, as well as replace and match 40 year old wood molding inside the foyer. I was impressed how meticulous he was in all of his work. It went fantastic, and I would be happy to employ Walt again.

It did not take long for Walt to get my problem solved. Now I can used the two outlets I really missed. The light on the deck really looks great. box

Walt really helped me out since I was in a time squeeze. And the job had more steps to then I originally planned on.The floor to ceiling doors did nit quite fit and he had to some creative work adding headers and painting. Then each door had to be trimmed to fit the closet space. He had to come back twice to get it all done before I could put the house up for sale. Since he was here i also found a couple of extra jobs that need to be finished. He install new lighting fixtures in the lower level and finished some drywall and painting in the upstairs bathroom. Mr. Hutzell is wonderful! He has great communication and was very diligent with all the task that we had requested of him. He is also very honest, reasonable and reliable! Would highly recommend Mr. Hutzell and look forward to calling on him again! Such a pleasure!

I had a good experience with this company. He was a little expensive. He was really competent in what he did, but he never got off the phone. The guy had the phone in his ear all the time...all the time. So he would stop everything and take phone calls. That was really annoying. He did good work when he got to it. He was very responsive; he always had a phone in his ear. He would always be interrupted and brought his girlfriend with him.

Walt did an excellent job. Great work for a fair price. I would recommend Walt highly.

He ran a new wire to reconnect the lights and put a fuse in the electrical panel for the lights. Walt is very good at what he does. He has a very busy schedule but he is worth the wait if it something you don't need done right away. I have use him in the past to put up 2 ceiling fans and replace 2 light fixtures. I am always satisfy with the work when he is done. I will always use him for any odd jobs that I have.

He was fine. I would recommend him to others.

Walt was great. I bought a bank re-po in Feb 2014. The bank gave me a list of things they wanted fixed within a week of closing. I found Walt's Handyman Services on Angie's List. I called Walt and explained the circumstances. He said he was very busy, but could give me 2 days. I was able to get Walt into the house ahead of the closing so we could inspect the repairs needed and order materials accordingly. After the closing Walt gave me 2 10-11 hour days to get all of the repairs completed. The vinyl siding replacement was tough to match, but Walt found a supplier with a matching siding( different make ). The bi-fold doors I bought were too wide for the closet openings, so Walt had to cut them down to fit. They came out looking perfect. All of the repairs the bank requested were finished within the week. When the appraiser came out to re-inspect, he was very happy with the workmanship of the repairs (and so was I ). I have had Walt do several other repairs since then and I'm very pleased with the results.He is very busy, but he tells you that up front. I will call him again if I have jobs I cannot do or do not have time to do.

Walt was very professional and followed through on all he said he would do. This is the third time he worked for me and each time I was very pleased.

Walt arrived on time and immediately started bringing in his supplies that he had bought for the jobs. He worked without stopping and did a very professional job. I know that Walt is very busy and it took a little while for him to get back to me and I knew that as I had read other reviews. I was okay with that as I felt if he is busy then he must be good. He was worth waiting for. I would have him again in a heartbeat.

Walt does excellent work and is very detail oriented and we have no complaints.

He showed up when he said he would. Assessed the problem and rebuilt the lockset. He even matched the door stain
