Walt's Handyman Services

He is good. He is reliable, reasonable and I have no complaints about him. He made some little repairs where I had my telephone lines ripped out at the corner of my house. He helped me in replacing that because it happened four times and last time it ripped out the corner of my house like all of the trim work and it was a big mess but he helped with getting it done. He is going to build a closet in my daughter’s room. He is going to redo the upstairs and do drywall for me in our hallway. He does a little of everything. He is also going to replace my back door because I live in a house which is 110 years old and he is going to replace that as the door is worn out. He had also done flooring in my bathroom. He is a handyman and does everything. He is very polite, very conscientious about his work and I can’t say anything bad about him.

He is a little bit higher on price than anybody else but he is very reliable and worth it. He is very efficient.

The project went well overall. Walt has a broad range of handyman skills, which is what we needed for this project.

Overall the job he did was very good and I would call him again. He’s just very quick. He seems very knowledgeable and he knows what he’s doing. He’s very friendly. He was very reasonable. I’d called several other places and they wanted over $500 to do what he did. I will use his services again in the future.

Walt is absolutely great. He was here when he said he would be here. He has used the proper equipment, did such an excellent job, and took his job completing the project . I even tipped him for gas because I was so pleased with his services. His card even mentions all of his Angie's List Super Service awards from 2006 to 2010. I would recommend Walt to anyone! He is totally trustworthy!

Everything went great. He was available and punctual, polite and professional. The price was very good. We'll call Walt whenever we need a handyman.

It went very well. Walt has done work for us in the past and has always been professional and very competent. He is kind, honest and fair.

Walt has done extensive amounts of work for me for years. His work is consistently excellent. He is absolutely trustworthy. He can do practically any type of home remodeling (although he is honest about what jobs would be better left to a specialist) and all with the highest quality you could ever expect. He never "short-cuts" any job he does, he always goes above and beyond with his quality of work. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs home renovation work done.

After determining that the bolt was damaged, he removed the bolt so that the door could atleast close. He offered to repair the bolt whenever we purchase the new set of locks/knobs (which we planned to purchase). He was very courteous and informative on the type of lock we had and the problem we experienced. He also recommended the best type of new lock/knob to purchase.

I had bought a new washer/dryer and when it was delivered they were unable to hook it up because of a corroded faucet and didn't have the correct equipment to be able to hook the dryer up. I also had a garbage disposal that wasn't working properly. He came and brought all thos things back into working order, in a timely manner, and for a reasonable price. I did have some other things that I wanted him to into doing, but knew at least one job in particular would be difficult. He was honest enough to say that he wasn't sure what to do with it, and that what I thought could/should be done, would not be a good idea, instead of going ahead and doing it anywasy. I was very happy with his work and honesty.

When our drain plugged up late one evening, we checked Angie's List for plumbers in the area. Walt's name came up and we called him. He told us he would be here bright and early the very next morning. Walt was here right on time and took care of the job with no problems. He was very professional and we thought his rate was quite reasonable.

He was very good. He was quick and efficient, and was in and out in no time.

Walt is a very, very, good handyman. He knows plumbing, electrical, locksmith, carpentry, and more. We were going to have him put folding doors on our closets but life got in the way. The only problem was his first hour charge of 60 dollars and hour. He charged 40 dollars an hour after that, but if he only works for a couple hours its is not cheap. However he is worth the money.

It went perfectly. He was quite a good handyman. I liked his knowledge and ability to get random things done. The total price included the price of the door.

We felt his price was a little on the high side although it wasn’t outrageous. There was going to be a lot more work involved than we initially thought so we ended up changing the project. I would definitely call on him again for another project.

He was very kind and courteous. He was punctual and a perfectionist in his job. I recommend his services and will use the same in future.

Walt came on time, fixed two broken drains. One part we brought was a wrong size, Walt went out , brought one quickly without additional charge of labor. Very friendly and professional.

I have also used their services last month for some electrical work. Apart from electrical, he has also done some plumbing work for me earlier. I have known the handyman for years. He has always helped me out in any circumstance. He has come out on priority during any emergency. He knows his job well and also explains what he is doing. His services are reasonably priced. I am completely satisfied with his services and will continue to use the same in future.

He was awesome. I have a whole list more for him to come back and do. I would recommend him highly. He is a perfectionist and he is polite. He is on time and doesn’t waste time. He actually fitted some old doors and had to put some casing. It is perfect now. He also helped me with some plumbing problem in my toilet in two minutes with the extra time he had.

Arrived on time, performed the extensive list of small projects that i had prepared for him. Completed every project extremely quickly. Was very polite, very professional, very efficient.

I paid under $500 on that work. I liked what he did so well that I hired him to do a couple of other things. He is still doing some work for us. He works during the weekdays, except for Wednesdays and Saturdays in the afternoon and evening he works as a handyman and the rest of the time he is employed by another company for a service apartment. He told me upfront that is his job and that he works all day there and comes in the evening and will work till 8 or 9 at night if he needs to. He also schedules his handyman jobs on Saturday and a lot of times if he is putting a ceiling in he needs to mud it and needs to let it dry so he can put another coat on. While it is drying he will head out to another job and work there and will come back and put another coat. He juggles things around a little bit, but he tells you upfront that he is going to do it. I am very pleased with the man and think he is upfront. He tells you exactly what he is doing and calls you will let you know where he is at and what he can do. If he plans to be here on a Thursday and if he can’t be here he will call you and let you know and does not just show up. He is good at that and I give him a little levy because I know he is trying to juggle a number of things. When he comes in to work he is very conscientious, honest and I believe he is fair minded as far as his costs and I recommend him highly. He leveled the floor in the bathroom upstairs because the floor wasn’t level and put the floor in. We went out and got the sink and he will come in on Friday morning to do some work on that and maybe again on Saturday. He has also put in the baseboards, a new cabinet and is going to put a switch in because it wasn’t working. We are getting our house ready for the market and have a couple of other things to do. If i had a handyman job to be done, he would be the first one I would call. It may take a little longer to get it done because he can only come on weekdays, evenings and on Saturdays, but he does extremely good work. He is highly just a superb person to work with. He has a number of reports on the list and has such a good listing. He is in his 30’s and is an incredible handy man provider. He is energetic and is not afraid to knuckle down and work when he is here. He also gave me a decent hourly handyman wage compared to some other handymen and he knew that I was retired and said that he was giving me what he considered was a retirement rate. For the hours that he put in, he did not charge more than $30 an hour. The price also included the materials and he supplied all the materials. We had one issue with the new ceiling where there was a seam in it and he came back a number of times to make it right, so he is that kind of guy. He was very good at clean up and had drop cloths and was very conscientious with things like that. I am really glad I went with him and will go back in a heart beat.

Everthing went as one would expect. He was punctual, the work was of the highest quality and the final expense was within the estimate.
