+ -1 moreIt went really badly, I am sorry to say. The installer right away wants to saw away part of my kitchen counter, even though the measurements of 34? high were adequate to install the new dishwasher. He says he must return with a saw!!! Since it took so long for my washer to arrive, I had played around with my old one and got it to work again (drain was plugged). Installer said Myers would take back dishwasher and refund my CC. ?You really should save money and keep your old washer. But?.could I please give him gas money since he came out." Okay?? Next day, Myers calls and tells me I have to pay a restock fee of $99 because that was what it costs to use my CC. A few days later, my dishwasher bites the dust for good. Now I look up on the internet?the washer I bought from small business was actually $140 less on the Bosch site than I paid for it. D***! And?..it seems Ohio law that if the business provides the install, the buyer pays NO TAX! Guess who was charged tax by this naughty small business? I have a new dishwasher now, bought and installed by Sears....with no chopping up my kitchen counter moulding and frame. And I paid no tax on my washer because the company provides the installation. But, I am out $130, thank you Myers.
Description of Work: I purchased an upscale Bosch dishwasher for $1419.95 plus tax. I later found out on the Bosch site that this exact dishwasher retails for $1300. I did not do my due diligence on internet other than to find out which dishwasher brands users were happy with. I had the store provide their installer, who is a family member.

Description of Work: We bought appliances from them and recently they replaced the water pump on my washing machine. Price includes parts and labor.

+ -1 moreI called Myers on a Monday afternoon (Veteran's Day holiday no less). The rep answered the phone, took my information, and said a tech would call me by 9 a.m. on Tuesday. The tech did. The tech said he would be out between 11 am and 2 pm on Tuesday. He was. The tech diagnosed the problem, explained to me what he was doing, showed me the problem (part of a hard plastic lid had fallen into the dishwasher's "grinder" and was making the noice), and fixed it. The tech also noticed that the original installers (many years ago) had failed to take the plastic covering off of the control panel (I WONDERED why it was so wrinkled), took it off AND did the same thing for my microwave oven (different installers, same issue). $130 out the door. Could not have asked for a better experience!
