+ 0 moreProject start was somewhat delayed but the final outcome was truly excellent. I've known Scott Lilly for 17 years; because he's honest I know the delay was unavoidable and for good reasons. All that Scott and his crew accomplished shows that they take a lot of pride in their work. I did not solicit quotes from any other company because the previous small and medium size jobs that Lilly Landscaping did for us ($500 to $2,500) turned out really well. I've had neighbors get quotes lower than Lilly's but the work didn't turn out as well or the quote was low-balled and their final price went way up. Summary: Knowledgeable Local Owner/Manager (Kent HS Landscaping & Tri-C Associate's Degree), works hard and smart, actually educates and motivates his employees. Lilly's worth the wait, worth the price, wish all of my homeowner projects could turn out this well.
Description of Work: 30 linear ft of foundation excavation with water proofing, 30 ft of sub-footer drainage, 60 ft of sub-surface PVC drain pipes for downspouts, removal of stump grindings (another company cut trees), re-landscaping a 50 ft by 70 ft area for improved surface drainage, and re-landscaping two smaller areas which previously had geo-tex with round stones and creosote (grass killing) railroad ties.

Description of Work: Scott Lilly came out to give me a quote and ended up giving me a hand on a catch basin I was installing next to my driveway. He also gave me a reasonable quote on some other landscaping projects.
