Overall, this has been an expensive lesson for me to learn. In the future, I'll try to do more research on a products I know nothing about before I purchase them, but believe me, when you have a family and your hot water tank goes out, you need it fixed promptly, one really doesn't have time to do research water heaters, you just want it fixed. In the furture, If the Company can't or won't install it, I'm not buying it. I'll go with a company that can do both. I'm also going to try and review the warranty, but most importantly, I'm going to check Angie's List. This ordeal cost me alot of money and really destroyed my trust in people and purchasing things. Again, CARTER LUMBER Company recommened the water heater, I purchased it on their recommendation, the when it was the wrong one blamed me for the mistake, they blame the installer (who they also recommended) for the mistake and they absolutely took no responsibility. I had to get another water heater installed. I looked on Angie's list and found an Angie's List Super Service Award Winner to replace the Hot water heater. I don't know how he did it, but this man, somehow though his contacts was able to get me another new water hearter at no charge and I was only charged me for replacing it. Thank you Angie's list.
