+ -1 moreHe was recommended by realtor, and I was very pleased with his work. Robert was able to give me a prompt estimate. He was very thorough about examining the places to be painted, asked good questions, and made suggestions about addressing some already-present failings (some have probably always been there, some from not so good prior jobs). I entrusted the residence to him (I had purchased it, but not yet occupied it). He did first rate work -- very professional with clean lines. And his work was done on schedule. He labelled all of the leftover paint so I could have for touch-ups (helpful as the movers did ding a spot). I could not have been happier with a contractor. I would recommend Robert to anyone.
Description of Work: Robert painted a great room (with fireplace and high ceiling), adjoining dining room (including removing chair railing at my request), a small entry-way, a 3-floor stairwell (painted the walls and high ceiling), a short upstairs hallway, the master bedroom, and the ceiling of a second bedroom.

His quote was fair, he showed up on time, worked long hours, completed the project in the time he said it would take and the final price was exactly what I was quoted. The end result was a very happy customer. In addition, he saw a hole in another wall and offered to patch it while he was patching the walls he was painting. I will definately contact Rob again for my painting needs and plan to have him complete some exterior work next summer.
Description of Work: I had three bedrooms, their closets, and a full bath painted. I requested two coats of paint and have a bunch of built in shelving in the closets. Rob came out on last Wednesday gave me a quote for labor ( I was supplying the paint) that was fair and reasonable. He began work the next morning and worked full days until the project was completed. He was very thorough including taking down the huge mirror over the vanity, caulking the bathroom, and patching even small spots in the wall before painting. The paint job looks fantastic, very clean lines with no mistakes which is impressive given the amount of cutting in around closet shelving that needed to be done. He is a very professional painter and his years of experience are evident.

+ -1 moreRob arrived when he said he would after returning our call promptly. He looked over the work area and told us exactly what was needed and when and under what conditions he would work ( continuously, barring weather conditions, until completion of work. He was very neat and VERY precise in his painting. The job was completed in a very timely manner, even though the heat was brutal. His work ethic is superb, showing up early and putting in a long work day. He was extremely friendly and pleasant to do business with. I thought his price was very reasonable especially for the expert work he did.
Description of Work: We had Rob paint the entire exterior of the house, including the deck. Rob advised us about staining versus painting, telling us the results would be longer lasting and more durable.

+ -1 moreRob's staining of our door was a very professional job. He matched the existing wood work with great care and expertise. While he was quoting the job he noticed that we had many scratches and dings in our woodwork and asked if we would like him to touch up the woodwork through out the house. We agreed to this after he demonstrated the improvement it made on a couple of places as examples. This was a great use of his time as he waited for the coats to dry between stainings. The overall look of the woodwork is uniform and the door looks great!
Description of Work: Rob stained an interior door and touched up all our interior woodwork.
