More Time for You

Went great. I use MTFY for my monthly cleaning as well.

When I moved into my new home, I contracted with MTFY to mow my rather large lawn weekly because I didn't have a lawn mower since I moved from a condo. They did a wonderful job. I felt their price was well worth it. My yard was done (mowed and trimmed) by the time I came home from work and it looked great! I bought a lawn mower this year, so I no longer use them. But I would definitely hire them again in the future if needed! They were wonderful to work with!

The office was responsive in emailing. They provided the service when I requested the service to be complete. I thought the service to be poor though. My daughter was getting married so I did not have time to chase these people down with my complaints. I expected good work but it looked like to me that the work was provided by people that did not care. Spring cleanup to me means pulling weeds, cutting suckers off of tree trunks, pruning shrubs, etc... And the careful laying of mulch. I have 20-30% more mulch than is needed in some/most areas. Of course I was charged extra for all this mulch. I needed to pull my own weeds and cut my own suckers when they poked above the mulch within 7-10 days. I would NEVER use this company again; I would not take a second chance. Yes we needed " more time for you" but next time my husband will do the work with care. You may say, shame on me for not chasing this company down and asking them to return to make things right; I did not have time; instead, I will never hire them and if asked by others, I would NOT recommend !!

They are excellent. We used them last week.We use them twice a month. It took a while to get things doing because i think they are very particular about how they do their work.

I have used MTFY for several years. Both their cleaning service and their handyman service. I have just moved out of state and have had to say good by to them. Over the years they have provided quality cleaning service. I have never had a problem and have always been satisfied with the quality of the work. The cleaning crew has always been thorough and detailed. I have also used their handyman service and Tim is very knowledgable and can just about perform any task you have for him. Thanks for all the great services over they years. I hope I can find the same quality of work in my new home.

We've been using More Time For You for a couple years now and love their service. Our cleaners are always thorough and do a great job. They are prompt as well. We have our clean done when we are away at work and it is wonderful to come home to a fresh and tidy house at the end of the day. The office staff is stand out as well They are extremely responsive through e-mail and by phone and make adjusts easily and without complaint. The are proactive in letting us know any changes to routine or unusual circumstances. Recently we had a situation where our cleaner was afraid of one of our dogs (who is loud but not aggressive). Kathy from the main office offered to switch cleaners and it solved the problem. They are no hassle and trustworthy, which is exactly what I'm looking for.

We used More Time For You (MTFU) for several years. It was fine for awhile, but there was definitely a problem with consistency of cleans. New people cycled through the house all the time, so it was impossible to predict from clean to clean whether the results were going to be satisfactory or not. A couple of incidents in particular really peeved us: 1. On one occasion, the entire basement (1/3 of the house) was not cleaned because of lack of time. No notification was given to us until we contacted them to inquire. When asked if we could have a refund for that portion, they said they could reimburse $5. For a $150 bill, this seemed grossly disproportionate. They eventually upped that to $15, which still seemed low. 2. We referred a number of families to this company, and I confirmed that at least one became a regular customer. We were supposed to receive a free clean for each referral (MTFU was notified that we specifically had sent them), but that never happened. They were very good about accommodating us (i.e., moving clean times) if we had a sick child at home. And not every clean was poor. However, they are overpriced for what is delivered overall. We now use another company who offers more service for $30 less per clean.

I started using them because they were highly recommended by friends and colleagues. From the beginning it was a little cumbersome to have to personally schedule the monthly clean time every month, but that was okay, they initially did a great job. Eventually, it became more and more difficult to schedule cleaning times, as the contact person would call me with only one available time and have to call me back if I wasn't available then. Sometimes it took several days or weeks to schedule a clean. Some of these times were Saturdays, and as I have small children, so that was never an option, but they kept asking. I also began to have trouble once school was canceled due to one of my kids being sick or snow (winter 2014). It got to the point where I had to cancel my December clean due to sickness and they just didn't come that month, although I asked to reschedule. Then I had to cancel my January clean because of snow days and they still didn't contact me to reschedule. At the time I was wanted to increase my cleaning frequency so I contacted them to do cleaning every 2 weeks, as they mentioned before that is set into the schedule and individual cleans do not need to be scheduled. I organized this several weeks back an have yet to hear when the cleaning would occur. If scheduling were just the issue I had I would probably fine, since it is a little annoying, but okay. But with the last clean I had to request a gratis cleaning to touch up because it was difficult to tell that they had cleaned either the kitchen or bathrooms. Overall I am going to try and schedule another cleaning service.

I have used them for three or four years now and I've been quite pleased with them. One of the nice things about that firm is if it has been really hot and the grass has not grown, they don't just cut to cut it. They really look at whether or not it needs a cut, which is rather nice. You can do a pre-pay upfront for the whole season, where they do an estimate and give you 5% off, but I've never done that. It is and option if someone is trying to get a better deal. What they've done, if you sign up for the next season, like in February, they will probably send me an e-mail to say that their season is going to start in April and if I would like to go with them early. And last time, they kept the rate at the same price as the year before, which I was pleased with. So if you've used them before, they tend to try and work with you on the pricing. They are very responsive to any questions you have. If you have an event coming up and you want it cut on a certain day, they try to accommodate you. They are very good at doing the yard and every time they do the yard, they also do weed whacking and edging. It looks really good when they are done.

Once again More Time for You did a great job of cutting our grass. This is the 4th year we have used them and we are delighted. The workers are professional and very courteous. I recommend ten to everyone.

We used More Time for You for a few months for bi-weekly cleanings of our home. We have 5 bedrooms, 3 full baths and one half bath, the cost was $165. The cleaning were thorough with the exception our master bath shower stall, I feel it was the cleaner they were using but was told that we needed to have our caulking replaced, which we did not do as they wanted us to use their handyman services. Overall the service was good and the clean was good but we decided to go with a different provider.

Everything went great. They showed up on time, he did what he needed to do, and that was it. I think that he did a pretty good job. They were easy to schedule with. I think everything worked out okay. They do charge $35 an hour, I might look elsewhere, and I do not know if I would use them again. If they had another special, I would probably consider them.

The company helped me out while my lawn mower was being serviced. The one time mow became a two time mow when my lawn mower took longer to fix than I originally thought. My daughter was graduating from high school and More Time For You fit us in their schedule so we could be ready for company. We liked the lawn mowing service so well, we asked for a quote for edging the mulch beds. The estimate was exactly the price charged. The service providers were polite and professional. They asked if we needed the excess soil to use around the foundation of our house. They cleaned up all areas and the work was professional grade. I would definitely use this company in the future and recommended them to my mom who is also using them now.

It was fine. The final bill came to $1200; it was $900 by contract, but then there were a few extra things that they did and then their season extended as we had a longer summer and a longer grass cutting season. They were very good.

The team arrived on time and began the work. They were very careful of my wife's existing plants. The mulch was evenly spread in a minimal amount of time. Respectful and courteous they all were. Tim (crew manager) is the most efficient work I have seen to date. Good person too. The work was completed, the area cleaned and my wife smiled when she got home. WELL DONE FELLAS.

Everything has been excellent all the time. When the shrubs were first trimmed, they had not been cared for across almost two years. The key worker --- I regret that I cannot recall his name --- cut each limb caringly with the small type of scissors I think a florist uses. He even put a splint on one branch. This year the greenery was indeed green and all growths were in full bloom and standing tall. His advice both times has been that of an expert. I was impressed that he recalled this year all that we had discussed and planned last year.The job of designing the mulch beds early on also required a level of artistry. We were not disappointed! The young woman --- Lucy, I believe --- who cleaned our home made my husband and me tired as we watched her work! She never seemed to stop across almost 8 hours. She spent hours in one room. Each cleaning task had special equipment and specific products, which she brough with her. When she left everything glistened and nothing that was to be cleaned needed any further attention. I was very eager to bring our furniture into our new sparkling home.

The price was reasonable for a cleaning service, but in the end more than we wanted to spend in general. They communicated quite well in terms of scheduling issues.

I received a quote within 24 hours of contacting them. They were coniserate and prompt.

We were very satisfied with the quality of the cleaning. In Oct of '12 we asked to change to a different day for our cleaning and were told that our message would be given to the owner, Pam and that she would contact us. We waited for quite some time, knowing that they had some issues with staff and assumed they were extra busy with the upcoming holiday season. I reached out again, by email, directly to Pam on Jan 10th, 2013 to ask what went wrong and that we wanted to get our service back up and running. I assumed since we never technically cancelled that we would get immediate attention. I was wrong. I did get an email the following day letting me know it would be looked into but I was never given an explanation of what happened, which wasn't really that important, we just wanted our home cleaned. I had indicated we would like to consider increasing our service to weekly. It took until Jan 28th to get the response back which had estimates for the weekly as requested but also a new estimate for our biweekly clean which had increased by approximately $15 with no explanation. We discussed the costs and since I have severe allergies we were desperate to get a thorough cleaning so we made the decision on Feb. 11th to go with the weekly clean which I indicated to Pam via email. Again, she replied the following day that she would look at the schedule and get back with me by the end of the week. I never heard back. I emailed again on Feb 20th asking if we could know one way or another if we could get our initial clean the following week because we will be having company staying at our home and would like to have it cleaned prior. I indicated that if it was not possible we would make other arrangements and that we were excited to have the girls back on the routine schedule because the did a wonderful job. I still have not received a response as of today, Feb. 24th. I can be very understanding but do expect to receive common courtesy. Overall, a lot of run unresponsiveness and follow through for a problem that we didn't create in the first place. I did not get an apology for the mistake in cancelling our service. If you can get on their schedule, they do great work. We are VERY disappointed. Btw, they charge you $35 if you cancel an appointment, even if it is due to illness and you do not want to expose their staff. We had a few instances where they needed to reschedule our appointment due to illness of their staff or a shortage and we were more than happy to accommodate although the flip side of the coin did not include a $35 credit. We have reached out to another highly rated service on Angie's list and are looking forward to a clean this Tuesday. The prices are much more reasonable so we are hopeful. It was so nice that the owner returned my call within 20 minutes and was able to get me schedule the following week

More time for you has done a great job for us. They also were very accommodating in helping us develop a plan that fit our schedule and budge. We have been using them for the past year - cleanings every other week.
