We called DLC after we had a power outage to our bathrooms and bedroom. We thought we had blown a circuit but we could not find the problem and could not reset the outlet where the problem originated. I called DLC around 3:30 or so in the afternoon of the 18th and explained the issue. They sent someone within an hour! Brandon found that when a new outlet was put in one of the bathrooms one of the wires had been pinched and the wire was bare in one spot. However, after changing the outlet the problem with lack of power to the rooms was not restored consistently. After some problem solving he determined that the new outlet and another outlet with a breaker were not compatible. He did some rewiring and solved the problem! 
Several outstanding areas noted: we had someone here RIGHT AWAY and Brandon was persistent in truly solving the issue. He could have left after he installed the new outlet as it worked initially, but he tested it several times and discovered that it would not necessarily reset each time. He was patient enough to get it right, even though it was at the end of the day and time for him to be home under normal circumstances. This is the second time we have used DLC, both times with excellent results.

They came when the said they would and were courteous. However, when they puttied the electric wire from attic to outside, they puttied in the air condenser hose, causing it to drip in my wall. I thought I heard dripping the next day but I am not in that room often so it wasn't until the day after that I called them back to tell them about the issue. They assured me they did nothing that would cause water to drip.
So I called the air conditioning folks (needed a new one and asked for some price quotes). When the sales manager came I told him what I was hearing, and now seeing. Water was coming down my window, leaving dirty tracks inside the window, and dripping from the window ledge onto my carpeting. The smell was also becoming noticeable.
The sales guy went to the attic and found the problem, took a picture and explained to me what had happened. So I called DLC back again.
Several days later I got a message on my answering machine telling me that they had done all the work they were supposed to do, and they did nothing wrong. I had asked for a discounted bill, and the message said that the bill was correct as it stood.
Now I was angry. I called the air conditioning folks again to verify that they had told DLC about their error -- they had. So I called DLC once more and said that I really wanted at the very minimum an apology and an acknowledgement that they had made a mistake.
Later that day I had another phone message from (I assume) the company owner, whining about how the air conditioner hose was too short (it only stuck out of the wall about 6 inches), so their guys couldn't see it, about how they have been in business a long time and are a reputable company, etc. etc. So what? In this case you screwed up. Would it be so hard to admit???

The gentleman showed up on time and got right to work. It took about 2 hours to remove and install the two fans. The installer acted professionally. He cleaned up the work areas and attic access area where some insulation had fallen. The fans work just fine.

I've used DLC before to install a ceiling fan and would recommend them to others.

It was good to work with DLC Electric, the electrician arrived on time in the provided time window and completed all the work quickly, efficiently and was good to work with. He completed the installation of two bathroom vanity light fixtures and a ceiling fan. He also gave us advice on installing some pendant lights in our kitchen, providing a time estimate on the work, and insight on how it should be run.
We asked him to check on a switch box that we thought may be shorting and he replaced the switch as well as diagnosing some problems we had with under-cabinet lighting.
The only small complaint was that would loved to have them come out quicker, as we had to wait a few weeks on scheduling. However, I would not hesitate to use them again, and plan to on the pendant light project.

The electricians showed up on time considering the weather was not the best. They came in sized up the job, told me exactly what they were going to do and did it. They ran into a few little issues, but they got the work done and before I knew it they were done. The ceiling fans/lights were up in two bedrooms as well as a small closet light. It was exactly what I was wanting done. They had everything cleaned up and when they left you couldn't even tell they had been there other than the good work they left behind. These two men were so nice and polite and were self explanatory as to what type of work they were going to be doing. That was very nice and helpful. I would highly recommend this company again for any kind of electrical work. In fact I know I will use them again for other electrical work. Their final bill was a nice surprise as it was what they had quoted me and no more..

Excellent ! Very professional, prompt, and explained everything

Everything was fantastic! They were extremely professional, very respectful, very honest. I would use them again in a heart beat.

I called DLC electric and told them over the phone what I wanted done. A couple days later I received an approximate price over the phone and scheduled the work. Due to the volume of business I had to wait approximately 2 weeks to have the work completed. However, this was not a problem. The two technicians showed up on time, we walked through what needed to be done and they went to work. Since the work was being done at a rental property I left them on their own. I felt confident doing so since the lead technician had done work at my primary residence in 2013. The technicians ran wires from a wall switch to the ceiling and installed lighting fixture in four upstairs bedrooms. They also installed a ground wire from the natural gas manifold to the main ground wire in the electrical box. The was completed in the estimated time and everything went as planned. They were careful to fluff the attic insulation when finished and cleaned up when finished. A couple of weeks later I received the bill in the mail within the range of the original estimate.

Technician was punctual, professional, worked quickly to resolve the issue and explained himself throughout the process.

They are very professional, polite, knows what he is doing, and they are very good.

The electrician was smart, friendly, professional, and enthusiastic about what he was doing. Great service.

The electrician arrived on time and in less than an hour had diagnosed and repaired two different three-way switches that were not working properly. I was impressed by the company's responsiveness and the professionalism of the electrician. I thought the cost was reasonable. I will use DLC Electric whenever I have need for an electrician.

They were very good about educating me about my product.

The owner, Dave and his staff are all professional, courteous, prompt, and experienced , The work we had done was done quickly, and Dave went beyond and above the first time we used him. He arrived very quickly very early on a Saturday morning when he found out that we had no power. He was quick to diagnose the problem and quick to get it resolved. His charges are very much in line with other companies we used in the past. We would now use him for any electrical issue, With a compny like his, we don't need to worry about looking for any other company. He is without a doubt, the best electrician we have ever used.

This company, on each project they have completed, they called when they were just about to my home as a courtesy. They have always arrived on time if not a little bit early. They then place booties on their feet as not to track anything into my home. They then consult with us to get a description of what we want completed and they get to work. They have always consulted with us prior to taking any new unauthorized actions. They also do a great job cleaning up after themselves. During our interactions it is obvious that this company truly wants to do a good job. We will continue to call upon them for assistance.

The crew replaced the old exterior lights and installed the new interior lights competently and efficiently. They were personable, professional, and remarkably patient with my dithering over where to place the can lights. They were able to accommodate an additional request to convert a single two-switch circuit into two one-switch circuits, which they accomplished without much difficulty (unlike two previous handypersons, who couldn't do the necessary rewiring). They were willing to haul away the old lamp post.

About one week after contacting DLC the owner of the company David Carmendy came out and gave an estimate on the work to be done. We had a previous estimate from another company who said we would most likely have to cut into the drywall in the wall to do the installation. We had just painted the room and did not want to have to patch a newly painted wall. We were pleased when DLC came up with a more creative solution. Due to the back log of work due to the recent storm we had to wait about 3 weeks for DLC to perform the work. On the scheduled day two workers showed up on time and did an excellent job. They were very knowledgeable and very much wanted to do a good job. Since they were installing two chandeliers in a 19 foot ceiling we were very concerned that they installed them correctly and they did. They were very careful working around our furniture and cleaned up thoroughly when done. They even found a minor issue not related to the work being performed and repaired it at no charge. The only minor issue with DLC was the difficulty getting hold of them to set up an appointment for an estimate. Apparently this was due to the high volume of work following the hurricane winds and power outages that passed through central Ohio a few days earlier.
Based on my experience I would highly recommend this company.
