Buckeye House Painting

Description of Work: Two coats to inside of double garage; two coats and ceilings to two medium sized bedrooms and wood trim inside and outside screened in porch. Single painter was here three working days exactly on schedule. Worked rapidly, carefully and cleaned up and returned furniture to where it had been. He showed up on time and was diligent and thorough. I would have Buckeye back any time. Price was higher than expected but it would have taken me most of the summer to do a rather poor imitation of his job. Very pleased.

Description of Work: I did not submit report right away because I was not entirely satisfied with job. Shortly after completing work, ceiling began peeling. They made one minor repair to it but it got worse over successive months. I called but it was clear that Dan was not eager to return to resolve problem again. My calls were not returned in the end. Another painter did the rest of my home and redid ceiling (not properly primed was his diagnosis). He also removed wallpaper in other rooms and worked with same, old surfaces. His extensive priming and prep led to much better and cheaper results. Buckeye's bid for other areas was 400 more with discount. While Buckeye was initially gracious and did prompt job, their preparation and priming was not as thorough as this other painter. I finally decided to pay another painter to redo kitchen ceiling rather than deal with unreturned calls. The response from the company is totally false. They did not come back three times; only once. When I complained about the walls last year, the owner was arrogant and unpleasant on the phone. Two years later, the paint is peeling on the walls in the kitchen. Priming was definitely a problem. I had all the other rooms painted in my house by different painters, and have not experienced this kind of paint peeling off different locations (that includes a bathroom, 3 bedrooms, halls, living and dining rooms).

Description of Work: Dan responded to my request for a estimate promptly. He was helpful and made suggestions for painting the entire exterior of our home, a shed, deck and skateboard ramp. He also gave me an estimate for an interior paint job, and suggested that we do the interior later in the year to allow us to take advantage of a discount available in the fall. The painters were prompt, clean, left NO mess, and quick. The house looked beautiful.

Description of Work: We contacted the company to get an estimate for interior painting. First, they called and rescheduled our original date. However, they never showed up for a confirmed second appointment and never called to cancel or reschedule. I find this behavior to be at least extremely unprofessional.

Description of Work: Received quotes for indoor painting. Company was prompt and very professional. I was called with a start date. I have used this company before and I would highly recommend them.

Description of Work: I called to schedule an appointment for a painting estimate. An appt. was made with Dan. On the day of the scheduled appt, Dan never showed up and never called. I called the company later that day concerning the missed appointment. I left my name & number. No one ever returned my call.
