I wasnt able to use the deal because they had advised that they wouldnt be able to do it for 2 weeks and I needed the work done asap. They were honest.

Jim is a true professional. He was on-time and was full of useful information that we'll use to keep our appliances running. We questioned if we should throw in the towel and purchase new appliances - it would be in his best interest to tell us to keep repairing our machines, but he explained the what & why on purchasing new appliances. He explained that he keeps his prices low to increase return customers - I don't know if this is true (I can only trust that it is), but I feel like we got a great deal and we'll continue to use Appliance Pro for all of our appliance needs. We can't recommend Appliance Pro enough!

Amazing service! I called at 10:00 a.m. and a technician was at my house later that afternoon. (Not many places provide same day service.) The technician was a true professional, within 10 minutes of arriving at my house he diagnosed the problem. Icemaker needed to be replaced and he had the part in stock (amazing). The icemaker was replaced and I was back in business within an hour. No need to wait for parts to be ordered or a follow-up appointment. Cost was lower than I expected. All around a very positive experience! :-)

Yesterday late in the afternoon ...Friday, of course...my dryer stopped heating (and did I mention it was 2 weeks after my extended warranty expired??!!!) I looked on Angie's List to find a good appliance repairman. Appliance Pro LLC had a "big deal offer" which I purchased. I also called Jim and left a VM telling him of my problem. He quickly returned my call. I wasn't sure if I would hear from him then or have to wait until Monday. My brother has his own business in appliance repair...but he is 90 minutes away. I called him and told him the problem. He had me do a couple things and said he was sure I would need a new heating unit or that part attached to the heating unit. When I left the VM for Jim I relayed that information. Before he called me back, he checked his inventory and didn't have those parts but said he would get them from his supplier the next morning, which he did. He arrived on time...early afternoon (Saturday) and in a couple hours had the repair completed and everything put back as he found it. He was very polite, professional. Gave me all the information, cost, etc. If I need repairs in the future, I will definitely call Jim again!

Serviceman was very polite and appeared to be very knowledgeable about the washing machine.

gainAfter removing the microwave from the wall and searching for the problem, it was determined that I needed to replace the unit.. His problem solving was thorough. I will use him again.

I got lucky he had the parts in stock and the knowledge to do what was needed.

The owner Jim is old school in the best way possible. I called spoke directly with him, described my issues and he was at my house in under 2 hours. My refrigerator had all kinds of issues, bent hinges and door that wasn't closing/sealing properly, a bad water line, and more that I can't remember. He inspected my setup and showed me that the water line installed was of poor quality and not done properly, walked me through the different repairs necessary. But ultimately told me that the amount of repairs necessary weren't worth it and I should get a new unit. He then talked me through what I should look for in a new one, recommendations based on features and quality etc. In the end he didn't even charge me for the service call because he didn't do any work, even though he came out and spent a good amount of time with me going through my mess of a flooded kitchen and basement. That's a level of service that will have me a customer for life.

I set up an appointment to have them service our freezer water line. We set the date/time and came home by the requested appointment time. I called 1.5 hours later and he had my time listed wrong in his calendar. He proceeded to tell me that his appt was correct. I informed him that wasn't possible because of a work staff meeting during his window. He informed me that he would try and get to me ASAP. When I had to leave my home to return to work (after 2.5 hours of waiting) I called him back as a courtesy to reschedule. When I talked with him, he didn't know who I was and then said that my appointment was for 3 days later. I informed him that if he didn't know who I was and couldn't keep an appointment, I would go with another company. I would in no way recommend this company under any circumstances!!

When I did get an answer to my phone call, I was told that he doesn't service LG or Samsung appliances. Hmmmm....

The owner, Jim Thompson, was professional, courteous and very knowledgeable. We contacted him late on 8/21/2014 and he was able to squeeze us in the following day. He answered promptly and was on time when he serviced us. It was wonderful knowing we did not have to buy a new stove and a new washing machine! Thanks, Jim.....you saved the day!!

Jim was awesome. From the time I called in a left a message, to the completion of the job, it took only 3 hours. He showed up quickly. He was professional and knowledgeable. He charged less than the repairman's guide! The problem is fixed. I will definitely call Appliance Pro, LLC again for all of my appliance repairs.

Jim did an outstanding job. We had an intermittent problem with our refrigerator. He had to come out twice because the appliance problem was an intermittent loss of power and was working when he first came out. He did not charge us for the second call he had to make and fixed the problem in about half and hour. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs to have an appliance repaired.

JIm is a very nice and knowledgeable professional. He described the problem, and gave us two options to consider. He would replace the part for a certain price and then if we wanted him to do the extra work of immediately defrosting the frozen lines that were clogged with ice, the final charge would include the added time and labor. Or--if we had an extra fridge to store our food for a couple of days we could just turn off the power and allow it to naturally defrost for a full 48 hours, and save the added cost of him doing all of that other work to make sure all ice was drained from the lines. We did have an extra older fridge in the garage so we decided to save money and wait the 48 hours. That was several days ago all is good now. The repair was quick, and Jim was very careful of our floor and cabinets. He brought his own piece of flooring to protect our wood kitchen floor. He took the time to make sure we were pleased with the position of the fridge after he pushed it back into the cabinetry. We appreciated Jim's honesty in telling us we could save money by doing the defrosting ourselves. We also were able to benefit from his $20 off coupon from Angie's List, for completed repairs. We will be using Appliance Pro again for our appliance repairs, and highly recommend Jim.

Actually had another company scheduled to come take a look. Found the "Big Deal" on Angie's List. After comparing the two deals listed I picked the one that seemed best, Large appliance repair for $126, & cancelled the other appointment. Jim called the next day & scheduled an appointment to take a look. He showed up at the scheduled time & took a look at the dryer. He then explained what would need to be done & wrote me an estimate that totaled over $400. I asked about the "Big Deal" that said the repair would be $126. He said the deal was actually $126 for $140 of service, essentially a 10% discount off the first $140. I explained that this wasn't the way the deal read when I looked it up on my phone. This deal said large appliance repair for $126. The other deal available was $49 toward $100 worth of service. I showed him the two deals on my computer & he agreed the wording was ambiguous. I wasn't sure whose issue it was as far as the wording of the deal so I told Jim I wanted to move forward with the repairs & I would contact Angie's List to straighten out the "Big Deal". We scheduled an appointment for the repairs. I called Angie's List & spoke to Meghan & she agreed the deal was worded to imply the repair would only cost $126. She offered to switch me to the $49 toward $100 deal but I thought Angie's List should cover the difference between $126 & the cost of repairs. Meghan couldn't authorize that & said she would have someone from the Big Deal dept call me the next day since it was after hours. No one from Angie's List called me the next day, a Friday, so we went the weekend with no resolution. As I was getting ready to call on Monday I received an e-mail from Angie's List saying they could switch me to the other deal. I called the person who sent the e-mail but had to leave a vm. I explained the situation & the resolution I was seeking & asked that she call me back. Toward the end of the day my call hadn't been returned so I called back. I again explained the situation & the resolution I was seeking. She said the fine print indicated the deal was for labor only & the best she could do was switch me over to the other deal. I was pretty frustrated that she wouldn't at least acknowledge the deal was very poorly worded, especially when compared side by side to the other deal. Her response again was the fine print. I told her it was disappointing for a company that relies on reputation as much as Angie's List to rely on fine print to bail them out of a poorly worded deal. I asked her to please switch me to the other deal & to promptly cancel my membership. She switched me & said I was paid through February & my membership would expire then. Jim came back as scheduled & finished the repair on my dryer. He felt bad about the poor wording on the deal & said he wanted to take $50 off the repair. He also said he intended to contact Angie's List & either remove the deal or reword it. I appreciated Jim's gesture & would definitely recommend him. He was prompt & made the repairs in a timely fashion. My experience with Angie's List on the other hand was very disappointing. I will definitely accept my share of the blame for not reading the fine print thoroughly, but the deal shouldn't be so poorly worded that you have to rely on the fine print. I thought the person I spoke with was a bit dismissive & wouldn't even acknowledge the deal was poorly worded. The whole thing could be fixed by adding the word "toward" to the $126 deal. In fact, the $126 deal should be removed altogether since you only save $14 compared to $51 with the other deal. Maybe Angie's List makes a percentage off these deals & a percent of a larger number is a larger profit.

The provider was very pleasant and went right to work upon arrival. Unfortunately the compressor did end up being the cause. The provider only charged me the service charge and informed me the cost to replace the compressor would be close to the purchase price of a brand new similar model. I will use Appliance Pro for all of my future appliance servicing needs.

Jim T. came out to help us. He got our fridge working right away. It was really great. It didn't take long for him to do at all - maybe a 1.5 hours. My husband called him and Jim said he could be there within 20mins - 1/2 hour, and he came!

Very professional and honest in that they could not do the job, did not try to get me out of money.

Shout out to Appliance Pro @ 614-949-6239. My washer quit working last night. I called Jim at 10 am and he was here by 1:00 pm. My pump is replaced and washer ready to roll. This is the 3rd time I have called him. Very fast, reliable, and reasonable. A really nice guy, give him a call.

He said the repairs would cost about $500 and advised us that we would be better off purchasing a new washing machine. He was honest and let us know that we should purchase a new one, instead of a lot of money into the old washing machine.

Ordered the wrong part after first visit and delayed completion of job. Corrrectly ordered that day and had to wait for new part. Installation wen well once he had the correct part.

Clothes dryer quit working so I decided to call Appliance Pro. Explained the problem to Jim who said he could be at my home to fix it in two hours! I was astounded, same day service! Not only that but he was there in 1 l/2 hours! He is very personable and fair in all his pricing of the parts that need to be replaced. He had dryer up and running in no time. I will definitely call Appliance Pro for any future appliance repair needs and I highly recommend him.

Jim was cheerful, very professional, consulted with me on what my options were, what things cost. Everything was upfront and there was no pressure. I told Jim to go ahead and he replaced the water pump. Fast and efficient, and thorough. You can't beat that. I'll be recommending him to neighbors and friends who have appliance problems.
