It went horribly. The guy couldn?t figure out how to pull my oven out. From the beginning, I knew he didn?t understand what he was doing and he wasn?t being honest about it. He told me it was the mother board of the oven and that it was going to be about $700. The part he wanted to replace was going to be over $260. I will never hire them again. He clearly didn?t have any idea about my oven or how to fix it. He was wrong on the diagnosis of the part. I ended up having a different company out to do the work. They did the work for about $300 with the correct part.

He was excellent. The coupon honored whatever it was that it needed to honor. I paid $70 for $100 worth of service or something like that and he honored that. It went really well.

We called Jim (based on great Angie's List) reviews on Friday afternoon, and he was able to come by early Saturday afternoon. Overall, it was a great experience. He's friendly, helpful, efficient, and a good communicator. He's also a bit of a perfectionist - after completing the work, he noticed a fingerprint between the panes of glass. I'm not sure if was his or not, but he took everything apart, meticulously cleaned all glass surfaces, and reassembled the door. It basically doubled his work time, but I'd prefer that to having it look lousy. My only observation (not quite a complaint) is about the price. Cost broke down as follows: $58 part; $60 "service call" charge; $121 for labor; $17 tax. Jim was at the house for approx. one hour. I don't believe there was a surcharge for Saturday service (We didn't request rush service, and they list regular Saturday hours). We used a Big Deal - $49 for $100 toward repair. There's a higher value deal, but I didn't expect such a high charge. To be clear and fair, we never asked for an estimate. In all, I was satisfied, and would use this service again.

I called and explained the problem over the phone. He asked make and model of fridge and seemed to know immediately what the problem was. We were able to schedule the appointment very quickly. He showed up early (how often does that happen?!?!). He quickly confirmed the problem and had all the parts needed on his truck (even though my fridge is close to 10 years old). He helped me remove the food from the fridge, quickly fixed the issue, offered me the Angie's List discount, and generally did a great job. He was very professional and nice. In and out quickly and allowed me to get back to work. I would definitely use again and recommend to others.

Spoke with Jim over the phone about our over the range microwave that stopped heating. I explained the symptoms and Jim gave a candid recommendation to purchase a new microwave vs. having him come out to repair the broken unit. I appreciated Jim's honesty and will be contacting Appliance Pro LLC for any future appliance issues.

They were professional and courteous. Recommended another provider that could service my Samsung appliances.

I found Appliance Pro via Angie's list and Jim didn't disappoint. My dryer broke on 1/28/15, so I called him and he offered to come out the following day to have a look. I was scheduled to leave town for work so we made an appointment for Monday, 2/2/15. The following day I had to cancel my trip due to weather, so I called Jim back and he was more than happy to come out the following day. We set a time of 9:30-10:am and he would call about 20 minutes before he arrived. At 9:15am he called me and was at the front door within 15 minutes. He was able to diagnose the issue (broken motor) in less than 30 seconds, called around to a couple of places for best prices, quoted me the total price and we agreed for him to do the work. Jim then left the house to pick up the parts he needed, was back an hour later, and 20 minutes after that I had a working dryer again. As I told him before he left the house, if anyone I know needs service like this done in the future he's the first phone call I would make.

Mr. Thompson came into my home, introduced himself and ask what was the problem. I explained to him what my dryer was doing. He checked it out and told me the problem. He let me know what the cost would be and gave me the option to repair it now or when I was ready, he said he had the part I need in his truck. I told him that he could do it now. He was swift and very professional. He explained to me the details of the repair/problem. I am very happy and glad that I am a member of Angie's List. I cringe at the thought of past experiences/problems I faced in the past.

My ice maker broke, and I bought a Big Deal through Angie's List for this company. I provided them with the model number of my refrigerator and a description of the problem and gave them 3 dates/times the following week when they could come do the work. They called the next morning and said they could come out and take care of it right away if I wished. The tech arrived on time and had the right parts and tools with him. The ice maker was 14 year old and the gears were stripped, so replacing it was clearly a better option than a repair. He replaced it quickly. He was friendly but professional. The price I entered was the price before the discount. We would definitely call them again if we needed a major appliance repair.

He was here and he did something else. I paid him an additional. The gentleman who came out was extremely nice and very helpful. He actually fixed my dishwasher very quickly. It wasn't actually broken. It wasn't working properly. I asked him something about my stove at that time. He took care of it as well. My only complaint is that he had a service call. I paid twice for him to come to my house. It bothered me. He did great work He was very patient and he's very nice. I would definitely use him again. I would recommend him.

Jim was very responsive to my initial call. He was on another job when we first talked and said he would call me back when he was done. He called within a couple hours and we scheduled a service call for the next day. He called a little before the original two hour window and said he could arrive earlier if it was convenient for me. Once on the job he was considerate of coming into the house and offered to cover his shoes. He listened to the symptoms and offered his professional opinion of what was wrong. He said it could be one of two components either the touch control panel or the printed circuit board controller. He said that he thought it was probably the touch control panel and since that was the least expensive of the two parts that's where we should start. He researched that cost and availability of the parts from various providers and found the part here in the Columbus area. He said that he could pick up the part and be back in about 45 minutes and he was. He replaced the part and the range works just like new. I would definitely recommend this service to others and would use him again.

Amazing service! Jim Thompson is the owner of the business. He was very professional, prompt, and knowledgeable. He came to my home the same day I spoke with him, at the end of a very busy day. He was efficient, did not make a mess, and explained what had caused the problem. He also double-checked his work and said that he would return free of charge if the problem recurs soon. He also called when he was about a half hour from my home so that I knew exactly when to expect him. I was pleased to have my dryer back in working order in a very short time!

The service was excellent. The staff was very professional. They left the area clean. They were very prompt and right on time.

I purchased a new unit, but not through them. They were very good though. They showed up immediately and stayed for maybe 45 minutes.

Our experience with his has been great. He explained to me exactly what was happening and why he was doing what he was doing. He has an excellent demeanor. He made sure that I knew what my options were. So if I didn't want him to do something, he wouldn't.

Jim was extremely professional and easy to work with. On his first visit in December, I was unable to be present when he came to fix the dryer and my wife was home. She commented on how friendly and courteous he was (which is no small compliment from her). He fixed the dryer and it has been running like new ever since. forms On his second visit he came to repair the dishwasher. He wrote up the issues and i called my home warranty service. I will now be able to replace my dishwasher for a mere $150 dollars thanks to Jim. I highly recommend Appliance Pro. Jim performs excellent service and an extremely competitive price!

I called Jim and he returned my call on that Sunday evening. He moved around his schedule so he could come and service my dryer on Monday morning. He gave me a call a half hour before he arrived and when he got there, he laid out what he thought might be wrong, based on what I told him I'd observed. We started with the easiest, least expensive fixes first, and that turned out to be the one that worked. After he cleaned out the blower motor on the dryer, it worked again, like new. He informed me of all the pricing before he did anything. He was professional and courteous.

Service was provided as agreed. Service provider was on time, professional and provided viable options for the repair. Provider suggestions included options that were in the best interests of the owner rather than the service provider. Definitely would use again and recommend to others.

Jim arrived at our home within the stated time frame. He was very honest on what the problem was and that it was what he thought it might be when the problem was described to him over the phone. Jim showed my husband the stuck part and showed him how to fix it if the same problem happened again. What a money saver!!!

Jim was great! Very professional and pleasant to do business with. My refrigerator freezer was not freezing. I purchased the Big Deal through Angie's List and Jim contacted me within a couple of hours. He was at my house less than 24 hours later. I had just purchase a freezer full of food and was afraid it was going to go bad. Jim walked me through everything he was doing and why. Very informative. I thought the price was very fair.
