Great service, stopped by the same day I called. Quickly identified the problem and resolved.

This provider did even more than I asked! I had them come out to look at my washing machine as it was not spinning my laundry very dry. This provider also checked that the pump was in good working order which it was and also removed the filter like piece so it could be cleaned and then put this back in so there is now no smell when the washer drains. I had mentioned that I also had a very lame dishwasher and I didn’t feel like it was doing a good job. He took a look at this and cleaned all of the moving parts and did not charge me for this. He was very knowledgeable about his line of work and was very help.

It went great! I called Appliance Pro this morning. Jim came out early this afternoon, replaced the heating element, and tested it. He was very conscientious and emphasized that if there were any further problems we should contact him and he would make things right.

Jim contacted me via and Angie's List message hours after I purchased the Big Deal. Unfortunately, I didn't see that message and Jim had to contact me again via another message a few days later. After we finally connected, we setup a time for Jim to come out and look at my dryer. He was able to arrive earlier than planned (he called to make sure that was okay). After looking over my dryer and explaining to me what the issue was, Jim suggested that I save my money and put it toward a new dryer. The dryer would continue to work fine as is (just with a squeaky noise) and I could purchase a new dryer when I was able to.

Mr. Thompson arrived promptly and went right to work. He is very knowledgeable and professional and explained what he was doing as he performed the repair. We would have no hesitation in recommending his services to others.

Originally, Jim was contacted re: repairing a broken dishwasher door. Over the phone, his estimate based on my description of the problem was $120-150 including the $60 service call. When he arrived and inspected the unit he revised his estimate to about $200 (maybe an hour of labor plus parts which I can't imagine to cost much) - he said the cable and a plastic tab that hold the spring in place were broken. At this time my wife and I decided that is may make more sense to buy a new dishwasher for around $500-600. The current one is 14 yrs old. Since he was there we asked him to investigate a low chirping/humming noise that has been emanating from our refrigerator for quite some time (we got used to it). he quickly determined that it was the fan motor and it wouldn't be a bad idea to replace it. He quoted a part price (retail) of about $112 and said he could go get it and the repair would cost $229 (approximately 1 hour of labor) and he'd lower the service call price to $30. Total with tax = approximately $280. Not wanting to argue or make and uncomfortable situation we had him do the job. It took about 40-45 minutes to complete. The next day I checked the part cost at a Sears part warehouse and it is $57. So ultimately, this job should have been in the $150-170 range and we feel like he should write us a check for about $100 to make it right. Needless to say, we'll do more due diligence next time re: labor charges and parts prices for appliances.

I did "The Big Deal" which was $49.00 toward $100.00 appliance repair. I had him check a whirlpool washing machine which sounded like a jet taking off while spinning and not working properly. He told me that the repair would be almost as much as a new machine. He described what all was wrong with it. He told me recommendations for replacement and showed me some examples on the internet. He told me I would be able to continue to use the machine until Black Friday deals would come available.

He quickly got started, found a snag with a broken seal on the PVC Pipe, jaunted over to Mernards, got the part, and finished all very quickly. He was courteous, professional, and educated me as to how to properly maintain for the device in the future. I also liked that he gave me an estimate BEFORE he got started even though I did not ask. I would absolutely recommend Appliance Pro LLC to anyone who needs repair. Our refrigerator was not cooling properly, Mr. Thompson provided same day service at no additional charge, quickly assessed the problem and had it fixed in about an hour. He also provided a full year warrantee on both the new parts and labor. He was knowledgeable, friendly and professional, we will certainly use him again for any future appliance repairs.

Our Refrigerator stopped working (was not cooling) Tuesday morning. I called Jim Thompson from Appliance Pro LLC and he showed up in 30 mins, diagnosed the problem (bad electrical board leading to the compressor) in 2 mins and replaced the board. He did warn that if the amps on the compressor did not stabilize around 1 or 1.2, we would have to replace the compressor also. Once he replaced the bad board, he checked the compressor and confirmed all is well. He quoted 185, asked where we found out about him and offered the $20 discount voluntarily for Angies List members. The amount with taxes came to $176.75 and he actually rounded down to $175. I was so impressed with his punctuality, service and professionalism. Will definitely hire him again and refer him to all my friends

The electric stove stopped working suddenly while cooking dinner. I contacted Jim and he was able to come the next morning. He arrived promptly, identified the problem with the electric cord and outlet very quickly, and then got the necessary parts to repair it. Since this work will also require a licensed electrician to complete, he explained very clearly to me what to ask for and expect when the electrician does his work on the outlet. He also indicated that if after the electrical work is done the problem recurs, he will return and diagnose without another service call. After watching him work and explain to me what he was doing, I feel very confident in his expertise. He was very fair in pricing. I highly recommend him for major appliance repairs.

They did a nice job. I didn't pay more than Big Deal price. They gave us recommendations. It wasn't as bad as we thought it would be. He was professional, clean and personable. He was on time, polite and respectful of our time and property.

Jim arrived about an hour after I called him. Diagnosed the problem and left to get parts. Returned shortly with a new main board and evaporator fan motor. This is the guy you want to call!

I called Appliance Pro several months ago as I had an issue with my microwave. Jim recommended to me over the phone that I should not look to fix my issue with the microwave as it would be too costly. The wise decision would be to invest in a new microwave. Remembering his honesty and professionalism, it was an easy choice on who to contact when my stove stopped heating just a few months later. I called Jim with my issue, and he was able to come out and look at my oven in just a few days. He quickly diagnosed the issue as a bad control board, and made several phone calls looking for the part. He was able to obtain the part quickly. He even was able to come out later that day to install it. Unfortunately, the part was damaged (no fault of Jim's) and he returned the part and picked up a new part in just a few more days. Well, today was that day. He installed the new control board. Issue solved! Jim went through a very detailed instruction on what went wrong and how the oven operates. He tested the new board and confirmed the oven was working as designed. He didn't leave until he felt I was fully satisfied with the oven. Jim is an honest and true professional who really cares about his customers. He aims to exceed expectations and I highly recommend him for anyone experiencing issues with appliances. This was the 4th time we have used Appliance Pro, and we have had excellent service every time. Jim has been able to fix two of our refrigerators, our dryer and our dishwasher. He is incredibly thorough and professional. Each time he has been out, he has been able to solve a problem for us that another company could not do. I bought the Big Deal on Angie's List for $50 for $100 worth of repair service. Jim contacted me right away and we scheduled for a few days out, which was the first date I had available. We also discussed the problem and I emailed him the model number of my fridge. He was on time for the appointment, and called when he was on his way so I could make sure I was home and ready. He had the part with him that he suspected needed to be replaced. He installed it and our ice maker was back in working order within less than an hour. My only small complaint would be the price. He indicated the cost of the part was roughly $60, but the entire repair cost $215, which I thought was a bit steep for the service side of the expense. Overall though, I was pleased and would call them again.
