Appliance Pro LLC

This is the second time in the past two months that I have used Appliance Pro. Jim, the owner, is very knowledgeable about what he is does and it shows. His first call was to fix a microwave and this call was to repair a washer. I called and within two hours Jim was at my house and in another 30 minutes the repair had been made. His cost estimates are explained in detail and the price is extrembly fair. I highly recommend Appliance Pro and Jim.

They were professional, punctual, figured out what the problem was and gave us an estimate. Would definitely use again.

With about 6 or 7 loads of laundry waiting for me, I opened the door to my washing machine in the morning and felt something pop. A part of the door hinge just cracked and broke. When it comes to household problems, there's not much worse than a broken washing machine. I was not happy with the idea of loads of laundry piling up for days. I got on Angie's List in hopes of finding a repair shop that could take care of me as quickly as possible. I chose Appliance Pro based on their reviews on Angie's List. Once again, Angie's List ... and Appliance Pro ... came to the rescue. Jim at Appliance Pro answered the phone and said he could swing by in a couple of hours. He showed up, assessed the problem, ordered a part, went to pick it up, returned to my house, and quickly replaced the hinge. My washing machine is up and running, and I couldn't be happier that Jim was able to take care of this within a few hours. Jim was very polite and friendly. Hopefully, we won't need Jim again. But if an appliance breaks, I will definitely call Appliance Pro. Thank you, Jim!

They came out the same day that I called to look at my washing machine that was not working correctly. Was able to quickly diagnose that problem and had the part needed to fix it. While the repairman was on site I mentioned that my ice maker wasn't working and he was able to replace that as well all in the same trip.

My LG front load washer stopped spinning during the spin cycle and gave a LE error. Spoke with Jim by phone about the issue and he was at my house within 2 hours of my initial call. He quickly diagnosed the issue, had the part on hand and had the repair done very quickly. He was extremely professional and took his time in explaining the issue and repair. His prices were very reasonable. He even gave me a few minutes of his time to allow me to vacuum behind the stacked washer/dryer before pushing it back into place. On his way out, I asked him about another issue I had with my refrigerator and he took a few minutes to offer some suggestions I might try before having him come back out to service the unit. I've had other companies come out for service calls and Jim is the best by far. I would highly recommend Jim for any appliance repair!

The washing machine was not able to be fixed economically and Jim let us know that. Oven same sort of thing. He came out quickly and spent the time with us so we understood the issues.

First of all, I had called another company that received a ton of quality reviews and had an appointment scheduled with them. However, they couldn't get out to my house for 2 days. I then called Jim at Appliance Pro and he asked several questions to try to understand what exactly might be going on with our dryer. Jim asked me to check the outside vent and see if there was air blowing out of it and suggested that if air was blowing out there might be a bigger problem and he suggested scheduling an appointment. I wasn't able to investigate the air flow during our call, but I did go out to check later on. There was air flow but honestly since I have no prior experience with checking this I wasn't sure if it would be considered strong or not. But since I had an appointment scheduled for later in the week I did nothing. However, about 2 hours later Jim called me back to follow-up and see what I had discovered. We talked about it a little more and he said he could come out to check on my dryer the next day. I was super impressed with the fact that he actually called me back to follow-up when I didn't have an appointment scheduled. I like supporting small business owners and that combined with the fact that he seemed genuinely interested in my business was enough for me to cancel my other appointment and go with Jim. Jim was punctual, polite and really took the time to talk to me about how to help resolve my problem in the future. He started by simply checking the air flow, which was weak. He cleaned off a screen that was covered in lint outside and said that should take care of the problem. Since he did a minimal amount of labor he didn't charge me the full cost. He merely charged me the service call fee and $20 for labor. A total of $85.95. He let me know that if for some reason the problem continues, he would come back out (even if it's in a month or two) without charging the service call fee. Overall, I was very impressed with Jim and the service he provided.

Jim showed up on time clearly knew what he was doing and fixed our dryer by replacing a non-reusable fuse...dryer works great

Jim was able to come out same day (it was within two hours of when I first called) order, pick up and install the part I needed within an hour. He was professional, courteous and played with my dogs! I will absolutely use again! Thanks Jim!!!

The problem with my freezer was a bit involved, but Jim answered my questions thoroughly and presented me with options. He is very knowledgeable and professional. He even called me a few days later to find out if the freezer was working well. I will definitely use this company again for appliance repairs.

Excellent, they got me in hours after I called, they had the parts required in the truck and got us fixed within an hour. Their rates and costs were dramatically lower than the competition for the same service on our Samsung and Jim gave me an overview of what to watch and how to get the longest life and best performance from our dryer. Lower costs for services calls, super fast response and availability, no hassle service and straight talk on what's what; we'll be using Appliance Pro from here on out! Thanks again...

Have an old fridge with an icemaker that wasn't receiving any water. Jim quickly and correctly diagnosed the issue- a broken valve- and replaced it using a valve he already had stocked in his truck. Jim was very communicative during the repair, describing the work and answering all my questions.

Jim checked the washing machine on the day I called. He ordered the needed parts and installed them the following week.

Jim checked about my dryer model via phone and then went out of his way to come right over and look at my dryer, which was a very old model. It is no longer made nor supported by manufacturers, so the parts needed were not available. He did not charge for the visit, and was very knowledgeable, reliable, and helpful. I would definitely call this company (Appliance Pro) in the future.

Woke up this morning to find that the contents of my refrigerator were warm and most of the contents in my freezer had thawed. I went to Angie's List to review repair services and picked out 3 numbers to call. All had good reviews on The List. My plan was to go with whoever could get the job done today. The first call was to Appliance Pro LLC. It was also my last call. Jim was able to come to my house before noon and had my refrigerator fixed within the hour. He explained that there were 2 possibilities that could have caused the malfunction. One was a small part with the other possibility being a bad compressor. He gave me the estimate for replacing the small part and frankly told me that if the compressor was the issue, that it would be best to replace the appliance. Fortunately, it was just the small part. A new refrigerator was not exactly in my budget. He was very prompt and candid about what needed to be done. I would definitely use his service in the future.

Mr Thompson was very accommodating and pleasant to my parents as he repaired their dishwasher. He immediately scheduled a service call and communicated his process with me, taking care of all the worries as well as my parents when it comes to their dishwasher. I would likely call upon his services again when he time comes. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Called Jim from Appliance Pro LLC at 8am on a Friday morning, about a warm fridge! He was the second call I made. He was slammed with a busy schedule, but took my info and said he would try to fit me in. Called me back within the hour and was at my house by 10:30am! The other 2 calls I made, could not fit me in until Monday. No food had to be tossed and he was done in about an hour! Came back the next week to repair the dishwasher. He was prompt, professional, friendly. I would highly recommend Appliance Pro LLC to anyone that asks!

Jim diagnosed the problem within seconds of turning the washer on and hearing the horrible grinding noise. He explained what had likely happened, and replaced the coupling quickly. He also took the time to explain a few other things about the machine--for example, I didn't know it was self-leveling! And I didn't know you have to hit "reset" when you change the size of the washer load. That alone was worth the price of admission.:) Possibly best of all, Jim told me the machine I have is one of the best-made washers out there and that it should last me many more years. He'll be the first one I call if I ever need an appliance repaired.

I selected Jim because of the previous feedback I read on Angie's List. He did not disappoint me, and in fact exceeded my expectations by being, communicative, quick, professional and kind. I was very comfortable with having him in my home and he didn't break my bank. I am definitely keeping his card - he is the person I will call for future appliance repair and I will certainly recommend him to friends.

I had a good experience with Appliance Pro LLC. I had purchased one of their Angie's List Deals to pay $49 for the first $100 of services. My clothes washing machine was broken, and I asked him to provide a quote for a repair. He was friendly and professional. He looked over it and there were some pretty serious problems with the washing machine. He gave me a quote that was fair. I was torn between hiring him to fix it or just buy a new washing machine. He did not pressure me at all to get it repaired and even said he would understand if I decided to buy a new one. So, in the end I bought a new one, and spent the $49 to have him diagnose the problem and quote only--I did not have him repair the machine--but I appreciated his professionalism!

This provider is the only one I could find that would respond to a problem with a broken microwave. He was prompt and helpful. He did all the checks he could to see if the microwave was salvageable (after it was zapped by a surge of electricity from an electric circuit problem I had earlier in the week. Although not salvageable, he helped me by providing advice on installing a new one (which I was able to pull off by myself. He also quickly serviced my refrigerator water line that had rendered it unusable for a couple of years. Kids and mom are happy campers. Thanks.

I called about 3:15 on Friday; he was able to squeeze me in that afternoon. He fixed the problem efficiently and quickly. He also checked the light bulbs and replaced one. He was very professional throughout. (And my dog liked him - dog people will understand how important this is.)

Jim was great to work with. He arrived on time, diagnosed my dishwasher problem, and was able to get the part, return, and complete the work all within an hour. I expected the issue was related to the blade under my lower sprayer, but I'm glad I didn't waste my time taking this apart. He did some quick troubleshooting and immediately knew it was a faulty drain pump. Jim was professional, polite, easy to talk to, and just an overall nice guy. Definitely would recommend his service to anyone. Thanks Jim.

It took him a few days to get back to me, but there was a family situation, once he got in contact with me he was there within one day. Preformed the work and was out of there quick and easy. He checks a few other things on the dryer as well. Dryer has been running great ever since.
