Jim came out the same day we contacted him about our dishwasher that wasn't working. He was able to squeeze us in and diagnose the problem. A new part was needed to complete the fix. Jim ordered the part and came back a couple days later when it came in for the installation. The installation was quick and seamless. Would highly recommend for future repairs.

Jim was great. Very responsive to my initial call which was on a Friday. He wasn't able to get me that day but was making Saturday calls and came out on a weekend with no extra charge. Done in 45 minutes. Explained everything. Very good experience for us.

Great, I did not have show up to the apartment and baby sit. He met with my tenant within the time frame promised, he repaired the appliance at a reasonable cost, and he communicated issues.

Jim and prompt, punctual and friendly. After he thoroughly inspected, he determined that the ice maker needed to be replaced. So, he picked up the parts, and replaced it the same day. The part was surprisingly expensive, and half the cost of the total repair. Unfortunately, that is what that part costs (yes, I looked it up). After replacing, he double checked it to be sure the ice maker was filling properly, and that there wouldn't be any issues. And, he answered all of my questions. I definitely agree with everyone's high rating. Great service!

I called Appliance Pro about my broken washer and Jim was out at my house fixing it within an hour. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything to me and even showed me how to run codes on my washer and told me about common problems that happen and how to fix them. I will definitely use Appliance Pro again and refer them to friends.

Jim Thompson showed up at my place right on time, with all the new parts needed and proceeded to spend the next two hours tearing apart my dryer to move the vent to the side. (I had assumed that just an exterior elbow type vent would work - but that would not have done the job correctly.) He got everything back together; new hoses and vents in place and still only charged me the $225 (which included the parts!) He even came by the next day when I reported that there was some water on the floor in front of the dryer (water was just a leftover spill from the old washer hoses that got missed.) His responsiveness, professionalism, attention to detail and quality of work are outstanding. He is now in my permanent contact list. I only wish he did other types of work beyond appliance repair!

This was an awesome experience! It started out with him offering to come out the same day I called. He called giving me a 30 minute window and arrived minutes after I got home. He was able to a**** the dryer to determine what was wrong, order & pick up the parts, and had it running in no time. He was very professional, explained what was wrong and what he needed to do and got my OK before doing anything.

This is the first time using this company. Jim was awesome in every respect and went out of his way to fit me in the same day. I've already passed his name on to others and will definitely use him in the future. A true professional.

It went well. I thought he did an excellent job. He replaced a fan on the refrigerator. He was very professional and responsive. He fit me in to his schedule and when he had to leave to get a part he came back when he said he would.

I bothered this poor man on a Sunday afternoon regarding my Front Load Kenmore washer!! I thought I would just leave a message and someone would return my call on Monday during regular office hours! I could not believe it when Jim answered my call while at the movie theatre with his son!! He called me after the movie to schedule a service call the following morning!! Talk about outstanding Customer Service!! Jim arrived promptly the following morning ( with a call before to make sure we were up)! He knew exactly what the problem was and went straight to work even with the incessant barking of our dogs! Jim installed a new pump, which he actually had in his truck, and checked out the entire washer!! I really can not say how pleased we are with the service Jim provided!! I feel so fortunate to have found Jim and would highly recommend his company! I can't imagine calling anyone else!

Our dryer quit drying on Sunday. I contacted Jim at 8AM Monday, and he was here by 12:15PM that same day. While he was working, he explained the diagnostic process and how it determined the proper fix that was needed, explained my repair options (whole heating unit vs just the element), and even told me about how Samsung and Whirlpool share some common parts, which helped reduce costs and delivery time. He completed the repair, showing me the obviously burned-out heating element, and then proceeded to clean the entire interior of the machine before re-assembling it. It tested out fine, and he explained that the odor would burn off the new element after about 20 minutes of use. He recommended we run it for that long before putting clothes in it. As he was writing up the invoice, he shocked me by putting IN WRITING a one year parts and labor warranty. I've never had that happen! Jim was extremely responsive, professional and knowledgeable about his business, and it was a pleasure to do business with him. No attempts to upsell, offer a "maintenance program" or any of the other undesirable practices I've experienced with other appliance repair companies. He did a great job for a very reasonable price and put in writing that he stands behind his work. He has earned all my future business.

It went wonderfully. We could not be happier with the service. He was able to diagnose and fix our dryer within just a few hrs. Even when he ran into a few hiccups along the way he was able to resolve the issue in a timely manner. He also did not charge for the extra time that he took to resolve the issues. We paid for the part only which was very generous. We would definitely use him again and would recommend him to anyone who needs assistance with a washer/dryer.

When I first called Jim he told me that he would schedule me for 10:00 the next morning but asked if I would be around during the day because he might be able to work me in later that same afternoon. Later that afternoon he called and asked if I would be available and that he was just 10 minutes away. After checking the stove he gave me a written estimate including an estimated time of arrival for the special order parts. The cost of the part was expensive and I wasn't even sure what the cost of an equivalent replacement stove would be. He was very helpful and said that if I wanted to do some checking before I made the commitment to repair that would be fine - NO PRESSURE! As it turned out I could buy a comparable same brand model for about $150 more than the repair so I chose to purchase the new stove. I felt that I was dealt with in an open, honest manner and will call him again for an out of warranty appliance repair. Thanks Jim, for a positive experience!

I called in the morning and by 5:00 the job was done. I am so pleased that Jim could fit me in his schedule on short notice. He did a great job and was very nice. I will always use this company when the need arises. Thanks so much Jim!

The freezer in our GE profile fridge was not holding temperature. I called Appliance Pro from Angie's list to fix the problem. Jim called back quickly to schedule an appointment. He came out promptly and was very courteous. He looked at the fridge and gave his best estimate of what was wrong. He then told me to contact the proper people with GE and we discovered the fridge was still under warranty and a GE tech would have to perform the work due to the fact that the repair was in the ?sealed system? part of the fridge. Jim was very helpful at navigating me through the 1-800 call center run around and I was able to schedule a GE tech to complete the repair. Jim then surprised me by not charging me anything for his time and effort. Because of Jim?s and Appliance Pro?s dedication to customer service he now has a client for life and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Called at approximately 2:30 on a Saturday and the gentleman was here in an hour. He fixed my washer and checked several other things to make sure my washer would operate properly. Very nice and did an excellent job. I would definitely use and recommend him again.

The gentleman was nice enough, recommended a better brand for next time.

Jim is the owner/ repairman of the business: he took my call, created a same day appointment then called to say he could come earlier if I was available. He walked me through everything he did and showed me the replacement part and explained how it functioned. This particular repair had the potential to be short-term and he made sure i understood that. Upon my request, he showed me how to remove and replace the water filter. He was professional and personable. It is refreshing to experience the personalized attention from a small business owner.

Jim came out the day after I called and asked for help. He provided two options to fix our leaking freezer. He was prompt. educational, and friendly. I would definitely use him again.

He was prompt. Very nice and easy going. He explained everything he was doing. When the glass was out of the door, he even gave me time to clean it. (Note: there are 4 pieces of glass in my door, and "stuff" get's between them). I would recommend him, he is very detailed and gets the job done.

Our dryer died Monday night. On Tuesday morning, I called a few appliance repair companies from Angie's list. One said they could send someone out on Thursday afternoon. Another responded to my message the following afternoon. In contrast, Jim called me back within 20 minutes of my call and said he could come out the same day. He said he would be there between 10am and 12pm. He was there at 10.45am, did the trouble shooting and fixed the dryer in the next couple of hours. He explained what the problem was, showed me the parts he used and their blue book prices. The price was very reasonable and the service was prompt and efficient. When I saw how good he was, I asked his advice about dishwashers since we are looking to buy one soon. He wrote down which brands were recommended and why, and also which ones to stay away from. In short-- he was knowledgeable, courteous and friendly -- going above and beyond what was required. I would recommend Jim highly and I know who I'm going to call when I need repairs on any major appliance in my home.

Called Jim yesterday and he set up an appointment for 10:30 a.m. today. He called to advise me he could arrive here @ 10:20 which was perfect. Fixed the dryer - it needed a new electronic control board (computer he explained to me). Had it fixed and running quickly and explained all costs involved after he performed trouble shooting to find the problem. Freezer had to be emptied of all food and drawers and shelving for Jim to repair freezer which was no problem for me. Jim explained freezer drain had to be cleared as it was froze up. He had to take the back interior wall off to get to the drain plus remove the exterior back wall. He removed lots of sheets of ice! He spent quite a bit of time doing this and checking out other things as well when he was finished unplugging the drain. This was a blessing to me as every 4 weeks I had to chip out the ice layer that had accumulated in the bottom of the freezer. Freezer and refrigerator are cooling better than they were before he performed this work! Jobs well done! I've used Jim in the past and he is very personable, knowledgeable and communicates well with his customer. I highly recommend him.

Jim returned my call within about an hour of calling for an appointment. He said he would try to come out later that day if possible, but scheduled an appointment for the next day. He did call later that afternoon, but I had to be away for a dr. appointment. He came the next day as scheduled and explained the problem and what could be done to fix it. I didn't have the option to temporarily move food to a second refrigerator, so the fix would take more manual labor and cost would be higher. I appreciated him explaining everything to me before getting started. The job was labor intensive and completed in about 2 hours. I was very grateful he could come out as soon as he did. He was very pleasant and professional. I would definitely use Appliance Pro again.
