Our refrigerator/freezer stopped cooling on Sunday evening. I called Jim first thing Monday morning. He promptly returned my call and scheduled a time to be at my home within a few hours. He quickly diagnosed the issue and offered his advice on how to remedy. He not only replaced the started but he also cleaned the coils and motor at no additional charge. He was prompt, polite and professional.

All the details are above, but Jim was informative throughout the entire process and now that we have his information we will not hesitate to call Jim again.

He took the unit out and replaced the upper main control. It required a return trip. He ordered the part and returned the following day. This was a heavy difficult job, and he was very diligent at finding the problem and repairing it. I will use this company again.

After checking our microwave oven (that was 2 weeks past warranty), Jim explained he could fix the oven but our money would be better spent on a new microwave oven.

Jim, was very prompt and responsive. He was able to come out the next day and diagnose the issue. The following day he had the parts and completed the work. The cost was high but very fair as the parts required for the job were expensive. His labor rate was very reasonable.

I was totally satisfied with the service. Jim told us how to keep the drawer in the freezer adjusted so that the main drawer would seal properly and not allow air to infiltrate and this frost up. I will definitely use Appliance Pro in the future for any appliance repair.

Looked up Dryer Repair (large appliances) providers on Angie's List. Chose him because of large number of A ratings. Called late Monday afternoon and set up appointment for first thing Tuesday morning. Jim called prior to the appointment to let me know that he was on his way. He arrived on time and introduced himself and reconfirmed what the issue was. He is very polite and professional. Had the parts necessary to fix the problem in his truck so a second trip was not necessary. He also provided some customer eductation (at no charge) about increasing air flow. (Who knew that fabric softener/dry sheets could build up on the lint filter?) A simple wash with soap and water made a big difference and should shorten drying times.

Accurately diagnosed issue, promptly provided repair.

I called Jim at 8:00 and he was here by 11:00. He did a wonderful job explaining what he had to do to repair my dryer. Very professional and I would certainly call on him again for any of my appliance repairs.

I cannot say enough good things about Jim and Appliance Pro. He called me right back after leaving a message setup a time to come look at my fridge and was on time. Quickly diagnosed the issue contacted his supplier and was back in an hour with the part. Had my fridge back to new in no time and even cleaned out the compressor area. It has been years since I needed an appliance repair tech, but I can say if I ever need one again Jim will be the first person I call.

283.00 for material, service call and labor. Jim worked around our schedule.

It was terrible. I had them out twice. The first time, they were supposed to do repairs on the refrigerator. They wanted additional money. They did not comply with the big deal. They were not willing to do the repair for what I had paid for the big deal. I was forced to either pay them out of the pocket for the service call and request for a refund for the big deal or pay the additional charges for them to do the repair. I used them for a dryer repair instead where I was forced to pay more than the big deal price. I do not even think they did the repair right.

Work was done on time and fixed the problems with both refrigerators in one call, We are satisfied customers and will use Appliance Pro again if the need arises.

LG washer stopped working. Called him asking if he could come out same day to look at. He couldn't initially, but asked questions about it to further define the problem. He called later to let us know that he had a cancellation and wanted to see if he could come over. He looked at the washer and did diagnostics to determine a failed pump. He had the right part with him and got it fixed in less than an hour. He explained the problem and showed us how to better maintain it. He was very courteous and respectful. It was a pleasure and well worth the money.

Our refrigerator failed on a Friday ? making clicking sounds and no longer blowing cold air. Could not get any responses over the weekend. Monday, I called A&E Service and their earliest available date would have been 10 days out! Found Jim Thompson?s company here on angieslist. Called Jim and he was able to squeeze us in the same day I called. Jim immediately knew the clicking sound meant a bad relay and he replaced it with a new one that he actually had on his truck. Unfortunately, it gave a bad readout indicating the compressor (cooling unit) was also failing and would have to be replaced as well. Jim speced out in writing the cost of all parts, supplies and labor which totaled over $1100. We declined to proceed. He was honest and did not push us to go ahead with the big repair. He removed the new relay and simply charged us for the service call. Given the very high cost of repair, we opted to buy a new refrigerator with fewer bells and whistles which was on sale for $1300 plus tax. I found Jim to be prompt and direct and would call on him for appliance repairs in the future.

In the middle of doing laundry for an upcoming trip, my dryer stopped working. I located Appliance Pro on Angie's List, noting what great reviews were given. Jim actually answered my call and was available to come out to repair the dryer within a half hour! He not only had the working knowledge and correct parts to repair my dryer, but he was also happy to inspect and repair my old refrigerator that had stopped cooling. He was prompt, polite, quick to note the problems and his prices were incredibly reasonable! He was able to inspect two other problem appliances and order the parts needed or give me a quote for the future. I can't recommend Appliance Pro LLC highly enough. I have found a favorite appliance repairman!

In late morning I discovered our refrigerator was no longer cooling. I called Appliance Pro and Jim was able to come out that afternoon. He explained what he found, left to purchase the part, returned and installed the new part. He was pleasant and professional and best of all, our refrigerator is working well. He gave me a one-year warranty on parts and labor. I would highly recommend Appliance Pro to others who need service on their refrigerators.
