Mr. Thompson gave me a two hour window and called right in the middle of that window. I took him to the dryer and he started right in on the diagnosis. I think it took him more time to get the back off of the dryer than it did to find the problem. He had the necessary part in his truck stock, and promptly repaired the problem. All told, it took him less than one half hour to make the dryer work again. He informed me that if there were any additional problems, to call him and he would make it right. I was delighted by his efficiency and politeness. I would not hesitate to recommend his services.

Jim came the same day I called him regarding control panel problems with my LG steam washer. He ran diagnostics and also found another issue with the drum not spinning properly. He immediately called to order the necessary part for the control panel which had to be shipped from Denver. Within a week he had received the part and came back to complete the repairs to the control panel and the drum. When he left for another appointment, he asked me to run a load of laundry to be sure everything was working correctly. He followed up with a call to me later that day to confirm that the washer was now working properly. He was very nice; very professional. I would not hesitate to call him again if needed.

Jim was great, very professional and courteous. When I initially called to explain my problem he took the time to explain what he thought the problem was and what he thought it would take to fix. Jim went above and beyond when repairing our dryer. Because of a communications mix up (my fault) he was at my house before I was home and waited 15+ minutes rather than make me reschedule. He figured out what was wrong with the dryer, explained to me what was needing repair and fixed it, all in less than an hour. Four days later I noticed a sound coming from the dryer that sounded like something was loose around the outside of the drum. He returned in less than an hour, extricated a quarter from under the inside of the drum, then showed me how in the future I could loosen those parts and remove what's stuck there. From start to finish, and beyond, Jim gave exceptional service and repair and I would highly recommend him.

I called the business owner, Jim, on a Friday afternoon, and he asked some basic diagnostic questions about how my oven was working in order to determine whether a service call would be worthwhile. He then scheduled a service call for the next day between 9:00 and 10:00. We appreciated that he would come out on a Saturday, and he showed up on time after calling 20 minutes before to let us know the exact time of his arrival. He promptly fixed the oven for a reasonable price and even gave us advice about brands of appliances that he would recommend (we anticipate replacing some of them somewhat soon). He also checked out a rattling sound in our clothes dryer while he was there and determined that it was safe and functional to leave it as is. This is the second time he has made a service call to our home; the first time was last summer when he determined that our washing machine, which had been damaged in a basement flood, was not fixable. Jim is polite, professional, punctual, honest, and helpful, and we were happy with the service that he provided. We definitely recommend Appliance Pro.

Realized on Jan. 12 2016 that refrigerator was not cold. Frantically began searching Angie's List for repair service. After reading several reviews I clicked on the schedule service button and explained the situation. As I said, I was frantic. So after a couple of hours I went back on line and sent Jim and email and then called the phone number listed. About an hour later he called and after explaining the problem he said he would be out around 9:30 the next morning. I said the earlier the better. He was at my house a little before 9. He knew immediately what the problem was -- a bad jazz board. He didn't have one on his truck so he had to go get one. Total time from arrival to finish was just about 2 hours. I highly recommend Appliance Pro for repair of large appliances such as refrigerators. Thanks Jim Thompson for your courtesy and professionalism.

Jim is extremely detail-oriented. He is an appliance whiz. He is responsive and responsible. This is the third time he has fixed an old appliance in my home, and he is the best. He is prompt and reasonable and explains clearly what he is doing. He gets my highest recommendation.

Before heading to work in the morning I noticed that the ice maker was dripping and was not full of ice. I came home at lunch to check it and the ice had completely melted. The ice maker was filled with water and was leaking all over the food which had mostly defrosted. The refrigerator was not as cold as well. I found Appliance Pro on angies list and gave Jim a call. He answered right away and was able to come to the house same day (3 hours later). Jim was able to diagnose the issue right away. The compressor had gone bad which resulted in needing to replace the main control board. Luckily he had replacements in his truck. He replaced the part, adjusted the fridge/freezer settings and gave a 1 year warranty on the part. After parts, labor, tax and discounts the total cost came to $364.43. It was more than I had hoped but it was much cheaper than buying a brand new unit. Overall I am very happy especially since he was able to respond within hours. I highly recommend giving Jim with Appliance Pro a call.

I called Jim and he was able to come to my home the following morning. He fixed my dryer quickly and showed me the old part that needed replaced. He had taken a picture to show me where the part was located on my dryer. He also showed me the blue book price of what other repair companies would have charged me. He gave me a discount because of Angies List. He was a super nice guy, very honest and knowledgable. I know why he has such a high rating. I have already recommended him to all my family members. We have had some ongoing problems with our LG front loading washer, and figured we would need to have someone come out and fix it. We called and left a message with Jim, and in pretty short order Jim called back. He patiently explained how we could remove the tray at the top left of the machine in order to clean out some nasty stuff that had accumulated in there, and also helped us identify a problem with the drain hose. Those who installed the machine pushed the corrugated hose too far into the drain tube in the wall. Jim was friendly, patient, got back to us promptly, and clearly knowledgeable. We appreciate his taking the time to provide his advice, and if we have issues with other appliances, he will be the first one we call.

Jim was a great guy. He returned my call within about 30 minutes and an hour after that he was able to meet me at my house to diagnose the problem that I was having with my refrigerator. After the problem was diagnosed he ran to his parts warehouse and got what he needed to fix the issue. He was upfront the entire time with what was needed and how much it would cost. Jim went above and beyond with ordering a vent cover that was missing and mailing it to my house when it came in. When he was done completely the service he wiped down my fridge/freezer from a few spills, added locking screws to the pull drawer so that my young children could not pull it out and had casual conversation for a few minutes. Jim was a great guy and runs a good business. I would recommend Appliance Pro to any friend or family member.

AWESOME! I can't believe how easy and how well the service went. I called Jim around lunch time from work. I explained to him that the temperature in our fridge and freezer were high and things were getting warm and melting. I asked if he could come out the same day to check it out. He told me that he would be out that afternoon. He had the parts necessary on his truck and called me with an exact quote of the repairs. Jim Thompson, owner and founder of Appliance Pro LLC has provided service to our house on many different ocassions and I would never call anyone else. He is responsive, extremely knowledgeable, price conscious for the customer, and very courteous. Jim's expertise is to such an extent that other repair services call him for technical advice which I witnessed first hand when he received such calls while at my house. Yesterday, Jim worked me into his already full schedule, diagnosed the problem, discussed my options including just purchasing a new microwave because of the high cost of the replacement part. Because of time constraits due to the holidays, I opted to have him repair the unit which required him to go pick up the part. His willingness to go get the part and return in an half hour to make the repair is the best example of the type of service Jim's provides. Other appliance repair services would tell you that they need to order the part and would be back in a few days to make the repair. I highly recommend Jim, not only for his expertise, but for the honestly and service he provides.

I called early in the morning and they were able to come out the same day I called. Unfortunately, they were not able to fix the dryer due to a control board issue (which is still under warranty.) Jim charged a lower service fee than other vendors that I called. He was able to give me same day service to repair my dryer, and after house guests all Thanksgiving weekend, this was very much appreciated. After diagnosing the problem, he explained the step-by-step process of replacing the heating element and showed me the damaged heat coil. He also checked the dryer venting system to be sure it was meeting current safety standards and that the airflow was unimpeded. He answered all my questions and even took the time to answer a question about my washing machine. I will definitely call him if I have appliance repair needs in the future.
