we had a malfunctioning ice dispenser that Jim diagnosed and repaired. He discovered another issue with the water filter, left to acquire a part then returned the same day to complete the unscheduled repair. Jim knew what to do to de-ice and unclog drain. He even extended the heat element using a wire down the drain tube to help prevent future problems. Our repair was fairly complicated because the computer board needed replaced and you can no longer purchase a new board for our model. Jim had to send our board out to be reconditioned. Upon return the board still did not work so Jim had to send it out again. Jim made a fourth trip to our home to once again reinstall the board. Jim did not charge us any additional money for all the back and forth trips he had to make. He was always very pleasant and professional. It was not an easy repair and he handled it so well. We would highly recommend Jim to anyone and feel very confident in doing so.

My dryer stopped working on a Saturday after hours and I left a few messages with 2 providers that were close to my home. I was leaving Sunday for the Cleveland Clinic where my husband was having surgery and wasn't sure how many days I would be gone but really needed to schedule something because I really need my dryer. Well I got a call back from Jim on Saturday evening and he said he could come to my house Sunday morning. He came as he said, fixed the problem and even wished my husband well on his surgery. I would call him again in a heartbeat! I never imagined that I would have someone come on a Sunday. Very nice guy!

I called Jim this afternoon and he came a few hours later to fix our washing machine. He ended up having the part in his van and was able to fix it right away. This is the second time I have had Jim out to fix one of our appliances. Earlier this year he fixed our dishwasher. Jim provides excellent service and I highly recommend him.

I spoke to Jim on the phone this morning about a refrigerator leak. He arrived at our house less than an hour later and figured out the problem quickly - a leak in the tubing leading to the ice maker. He left briefly to pick up the needed parts and came right back to fix everything. The only thing which needed to be changed was the tubing, but I asked for the valve to be replaced as well, which he did. I am very happy with the work Jim did.

I have used Jim a few times and always found him responsive, honest and reasonably priced. I had some oven glass that was in pretty bad shape. Jim said he could probably clean them rather than replace them which would save money. Jim did a great job cleaning the glass - they look practically new.

He checked the refrigerator and diagnosed the issue. He called for the part and gave me an estimate. It was going to be too expensive to repair so he just charged me for the service call. I called him in the morning and he was at my home by noon to check out the issue. He called ahead and was punctual and honest. I would definitely call him again and recommend him to others.

Jim was able to add me in to the end of his work day and to repair our dryer that day. It required him running out to get the part, which caused him to keep working until about 6:30 p.m. in order to finish the job. We appreciated that he stayed until the job was compelte.

The entire experience was a super. I called early on a Monday morning to set up an appointment for my clothes dryer that would not run. Jim was able to get me scheduled for the same day and gave me a call when he was on his way so I could minimize the amount of time I needed to be away from my job. Jim arrived when he stated he would (noon) and began diagnosing the problem. After running through numerous tests and explain those tests to me as he completed them, he found that the control module had been fried. He was able to locate the part at a local distributor at a price that even Amazon couldn't beat. Jim was able to pick the part up from the distributor (1 hour round trip) and have my dryer fixed all by 2:30PM! Overall, Jim went above and beyond to get my issue resolved in the same day and he will my #1 appliance repair guy going forward. Thanks again Jim!

Jim was at my house within a couple of hours. He called when he was on his way like he promised he would. We discussed issues I had started noticing. Jim did some diagnostic tests and was able to reset the controls. He isn't sure if this will fix the issue so he took down the model and serial number in the event we need to order new parts. I appreciate his honesty and advising that we may be jumping the gun to replace a part (contol panel vs key pad) when he isn't sure what might be causing the issue. Dishwasher seems to be working fine now. If I have any further issues with it, I will call Jim.
