This is the second time Jim has come to our home and both times he was punctual and courteous. He diagnosed the problem and fixed it in a reasonable amount of time. I would not hesitate to call Appliance Pro again and I would highly recommend this company to others.

Fine, charged only for a service call

Repairman came on March 1. It was raining and he returned on Friday. He replaced dryer vent in garage attic requiring a new vent through the roof. Old plastic dryer vent was collapsed and full of lint and vented through an air vent in the roof. The repairman was courteous,cleaned up, explained everything he had done and showed me the old vent he had taken out. I could not have asked for better service.

The repairman knew exactly what the problem was. He could have saved me some money, but due to my knee replacements I allowed him to clean up the ice in the freezer, put the freezer doors back, etc. He was professional, polite and even called back to make sure it was working ok. I asked him if he worked on dryers and he referred me to dryer vent wizard.

He called to advise me and I was able to take that advice without paying.

I had used Appliance Pro in the past to repair this same dryer. I sent Jim a message on Sunday afternoon. On Monday morning, he called me back and got me on his schedule for that same day. He arrived on time, immediately diagnosed the problem and fixed it quickly. As with the last visit, he made sure I understood what was broken, how it affected performance, and what he needed to do to fix it. He cleaned the entire unit while it was disassembled, and cleaned up the area around the machine after the repair. Responsive, quick to schedule, on time, professional and reasonable (but not cheap) rates; Jim has earned my loyalty, and I will never call another repair service as long as he is in business! I highly, highly recommend Appliance Pro.

I called Appliance Pro based on the positive reviews I saw on Angie's list. Jim was just finishing up a job and was in my area. He was at my house in less then an hour, he diagnosed the problem, a bad heating element, had the parts he needed to repair it on his truck and was able to get everything working again no problem. Very nice guy, would definitely call him again.

Fixed Whirlpool washing machine. Excellent service, very professional.

We were extremely pleased with the service provided by this company. First, a technician was able to come out the very same day I called for service. Second, this technician explained in great detail exactly what was wrong with each refrigerator even showing me diagrams. One of the refrigerators has a water dispenser that had stopped working. He explained that the water in the container holding the water in the back of the refrigerator was probably frozen and suggested we try increasing the inside temperature of the refrigerator by 3 degrees. We did that, and the water dispenser began working the next day. In the case of the second refrigerator, the top freezer compartment in a frost free refrigerator was freezing up. He correctly diagnosed the problem as a frozen drain in the back of the freezer, installed a heating unit to keep that drain open, and the freezer is working perfectly. The price paid for the repair and the advice was incredibly reasonable. I highly recommend this company.

Well. The repairman made suggestions that made both refrigerators more efficient, and replaced the ice-maker on one refrigerator.

I called these guys to find if they worked on Danby Wine Refrigerators. While they do not, the gentleman spent a good 5 minutes on the phone with me sharing his knowledge, well knowing I had no business for him currently. I thought he deserved a review for that!

Great!! Jim responded quickly. Followed up and arrived when he said he would. Replaced the relay on our 5 yr old Maytag refrigerator. We called Jim because he responded a couple years ago to a faulty dishwasher. He was honest enough to tell us that he could repair it, however we would be better off replacing it. That kind of honesty you don't find every day. This is why he is now officially our appliance go to guy!!

I called Appliance Pro LLC regarding my KitchenAid dishwasher that wouldn't start the cycle. I left a message and Jim called back within a few hours. We discussed the specifics of the issue I was having and what I had already attempted. He informed me of the price of the service call and advised that he would be able to be at my home in less than 40 minutes. He arrived within that window, used the manufacturer paperwork to determine how to initiate the diagnostic mode, and advised the error code indicated a new motor was required. He called to get a price on the cost of the new motor and sump assembly and advised he could get it today and complete the repair along with a 1 year warranty on parts and labor. I agreed and it was fixed within an hour after him picking up the part. He checked to make sure there were no leaks before putting everything back together. Jim was very friendly and efficient. I'd recommend him to any friends and neighbors in the area and wouldn't hesitate to have him back for any additional appliance repair needs.

I called and the same day Jim was out to look at the refrigerator, evaluate the problem and order a part. Less than a week later the part was in and refrigerator was fixed.

Jim responded to my web inquiry for service on my KitchenAid refrigerator within 24 hours. He scheduled an appointment to repair the same day. He was able to quickly diagnose the issue and provided the quote to repair. The replacement part was on his truck and the service and repair was completed in approximately 30 minutes. Jim was courteous and professional and the service was performed very efficiently. We received a courtesy call from Jim the day following the service to confirm the ice maker was working properly following the service. I strongly recommend Appliance Pro for appliance repair.

Great! The problem was diagnosed, repair was made, a wash machine is again quiet on the spin cycle.

Jim called ahead of time and stated he was on his way and arrived early. Very professional and polite in explaining parts and he replace the lid switch and discovered I had a secondary problem invovling the transmission showed me the oil leaking and the teeth were shot. Explained the cost would not justify the repair because of the age of washer (8) yrs. Cheaper to replace. Jim removed the new switch and apologized about not being able to replace. I can't thank Jim enough for the respect he gave me and I was wowed by the honesty....I would use Jim again. Please know this was my first experience using Angies list and I am so glad it was an excellent experience and you have turned a doubter into a believer!! Kathy

Wonderful! Called Jim and he arrived within 2 hours of my first call. Arrived about 2:00 p.m. By 2:50, he had diagnosed the problem, emptied the washer of all the stinky water, replaced the pump (which he had in his truck), tested the washer, put everything back in place, wrote the bill, I paid and we were both on our way! Could not have been more happy with Jim and his service. Very highly recommend!

Jim phoned twice on the morning of the service visit to let me know he was on the way despite the snow that was accumulating on the roads. He arrived right on time and rapidly assessed the problem. Within twenty minutes he had the dishwasher working again. Not only is Jim extremely professional, but he is very knowledgeable about the most common dishwasher repairs. He was able to provide a very helpful prognosis for the future of our particular dishwasher, so we would not hesitate to call on him again for needed future repairs on any of our large appliances.

Called Jim at Appliance Pro and discussed the options. He was able to procure a Electronic Control Panel over the weekend and come to the house on Monday AM and remove and install the new panel. Everything works great! He was very helpful in given me some advice for "do-it-yourself" handyman chores dealing with appliances. I would definitely recommend Jim for any of your appliance repairs.

He was extremely knowledgeable and we ended up decided that based upon the repairs need that I should pursue buying a new machine. He went above and beyond to help me diagnose the problem both on the phone and in person. I really appreciate his honesty around not trying to fix my machine which ultimately was not worth it. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I was quite impressed with the service that I received from Jim. After calling and leaving a voicemail, he returned my call on the same day and worked with us to make sure that he was able to get out to help us quickly. He was incredibly polite and professional and even asked for initial information so that he could be prepared (model number of the Fridge, etc.). He arrived on time, and was incredibly informative on the issue that was found. He discussed the fix, and discussed the pricing that was associated to this fix. After confirming with us, he immediately fixed our fridge so that we were completely taken care of on his first visit. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for appliance needs!
