Appliance Pro LLC

Appliance Pro showed up, diagnosed the problem and gave us an advance bill for $494.00 to get the parts and perform the repair. They collected a $250.00 deposit, and never returned to perform the work. The stopped answering their phone when we called to inquire when they would return to complete the job. They have no mailing address to send correspondence. Their invoice has no address on it. They are scam artists.

We had used Jim before to help us with a problem with our ice maker. We were satisfied with his previous work. He recently came out to fix our washer machine. However, the repair that he made changed nothing and the end result was us writing a $300 check only to have the same problem. He assured me when he was at my house that if there were still problems he would come back out and give me a significant discount on any additional services needed to get it running again. However, it has been over a week and he will not return my calls or answer my texts. I see other reviews were this seems to be the case with this company. You are gambling by agreeing to pay for any services from this company. They will not stand behind their work. My advice would be to stay away and go with a company that won’t avoid you after they take your money.

Jim and his son showed up at my house on time and did a great job of diagnosing the issue with our dryer. He cleaned up after the work was done and was very professional. We will definitely use Jim again if needed.

In November 2019 they repaired my washing machine and service was timely and done well. Now the same washer is not working, so I called to request service. Left a message, then 5 days later after receiving no call-back, called again. The call went straight to voice mail, never returned. I understand if they were extremely busy - or something came up (like COVID) that prevented providing service. But there is no excuse for not returning a customer call at all. I do not expect such behavior from an Angie's List Super Service award winner.

They arrived in the scheduled window and were great about fixing a job the previous installer had seriously botched up with the wrong parts and a lot of corner cutting. They were very clear on explaining everything that was done and really did a great job. We are very happy with everything.

Do not use Appliance Pro, LLC - Jim came to my residence to repair my ice maker. After a very quick evaluation, Jim determined my entire ice maker needed replaced. After paying Jim hundreds of dollars, the new ice maker Jim installed failed again. I immediately tried contacting Jim again. After weeks of messaging and calling Jim, he was totally unresponsive. I was forced to pay a second service company to repair the ice maker Jim installed. The second service company was excellent and fixed the issue. Turns out a new ice maker was never needed to begin with. Jim and Appliance Pro, LLC did not honor the work and services they performed. After payment for service/product, Jim ignored all messages and phone calls and falsely charged me for a new ice maker.

It was a closed system issue and cost prohibitive to repair. Had to purchase new refrigerator unit.

Jim never showed up we scheduled 2 different times. left number of messages never called back. I waited around both days all day and no calls to say he was running late or had to cancel. JUST DIDN"T SHOW UP.

Our pro called and asked a few questions that resulted in our having to purchase a new washer! Very impressed!

I had a different company come months ago and I wished I had called Appliance Pro the first time. He took care of the problem and made sure it was functioning properly before finishing the job. Whenever I hear of friends with appliance repair needs in the future I will definitely encourage them to call Appliance Pro to come and help!

He is dedicated and professional. He replaced the components needed to provide correct operation and spent the time necessary to defrost a frozen evaporator coil. The refrigerator runs great.

We appreciated Jim’s ability to do a service call on the date he was called, actually showing up with the parts that were needed and repairing our refrigerator that day. He’s knowledgeable, helpful and kind. Would definitely hire him again.

Jim has the dryer back to almost new in under 2 hours, not to mention got rid of 99% of the burnt smell left from the fire.

I chose Appliance Pro because of the high rating and reviews and I am in agreement with them.. Though I called on the busiest day of the week, Monday, Jim said he would take care of my washer that day. He called later to confirm it was okay to come and arrived within 15 min. Jim quickly found the problem, had the part to fix it, repaired the washer and was done in under 30 minutes. Jim is experienced, efficient, professional and friendly and I highly recommend Appliance Pro when you need repairs to one of your important appliances.

The service went really well. Mr. Jim is very professional, personable, and knowledgeable. When he was on the way to my home, he gave me a curtesy call. After assessing the dryer, he explained the problem and the solution very thoroughly and had our dryer fixed immediately. He even tested a cycle before leaving to ensure that the dryer was working properly. I can carry on with laundry as normal because Mr. Jim and his team are definitely Appliance Pros!!

Having an appliance break down is bad enough, but having an appliance break down during a pandemic is the absolute worst. Since I consider my washing machine an essential worker, I had no choice but to get it repaired. I called Jim on a Monday morning about the issue and he was over before noon. He fixed the machine, cleaned it up so it looked like new, and it works better now than it has in years. Jim was very professional and I felt what he charged us was fair. He even agreed to wear the homemade mask I had on hand (I have a family member who is high-risk for COVID-19, so I was taking ALL the precautions). I'm very glad I called him and will do so the next time I have a broken appliance.

Jim arrived at our home to repair our dryer within an hour of my call requesting service. He was prompt, polite, and service was performed efficiently for a fair price. I would recommend Appliance Pro to friends and family and will definitely use them again!

I called Jim at 2:00pm on a Friday, and not only did he rearrange his schedule to come that evening, he spent a good amount of time hunting down the problem (a bad internal switch) before successfully fixing it. Jim was professional, courteous, and, most importantly, very good at his job. Suffice to say, I am extremely satisfied and will not hesitate to use his services again in the future.

Zip-zip-zip ... problem solved quickly and inexpensively. Appliance professional LISTENED to me (novel experience), asked pertinent questions, watched me go through the steps that weren’t working. Polite and competent ... a good combo. I would hire again in a NY minute.

From start to completion, service was extraordinarily timely and professional. Jim returned my call within an hour, technician Andrew was onsite within that same hour and service and repair was troubleshooted and completed in less than an hour. Definitely a super service award in my opinion!
