Tony did a great job on both projects this summer. The first project involved replacing some tiles and subfloor by the exterior door on the sunporch. The second involved replacing some exterior trim and cedar siding that were rotting, and repainting the repaired areas. His communications were professional and prompt; he arrived as scheduled; and the work was completed within the estimated time frame, even with a few unexpected complications. He was patient with explaining the details on the projects and answering all my questions. The work-sites were cleaned up at the end of each day and the end of each project. Overall, Tony did a great job both times and I would not hesitate to call him again.

Went well. Front porch light is great. Bulbs were replaced, but light still not working. He troubleshot the problem, but could not find the solution as it is outside his scope of work. I appreciated him telling me to hire en electrician rather than bumble through on his own - I would much rather get the right person for the job,

Tony was great! He was flexible with our timing and was able to remove the shower doors, patch and prime then paint the first day. He came back the next day to do a second coat for the bathroom and paint our outdoor patio table. I was impressed that he was willing to tackle this job as the other handyman I interviewed was unwilling to paint the patio table (painting metal legs and frame with a metallic paint and paintbrush, not spray paint). His offer was slightly higher than the other handyman, but I felt that the money was well spent for a professional who was willing to tackle all the areas I needed, and I felt that I could trust Tony in my home to get everything done.

I would recommend Tony without reservation and would certainly look for his assistance on any future carpentry related work. Jobs was finished in a timely fashion (two or three days) and the work was immaculate. Tony also cleaned up the site to where you wouldn't have know that project had been done. (No small feat when you're sawing wood outside.) A+

I bought all of the required replacement parts, fixtures, etc. before Tony came out. He showed up early one morning and worked until everything was done. I don't think he ever took a break! Everything he did looks good and works well. I am extremely impressed by his work ethic. I'm so glad he did in 6 hours what we couldn't do or had put off doing for so long! It's nice to know I can call on him for future repairs.

No complaints. He was very busy, but did me a favor and got to it fairly quickly while he was in my neighborhood on another job.

It took some time to think about how to rate this provider. He came out to the house in April to take a look at the problem - some squirrels had made a nest in the housing of my roof mounted attic fan. We had gotten rid of the squirrels and the nest, and I wanted him to put fresh screen around the housing and to get the fan working. He gave me an estimate ($200.00) to replace the screen and fan thermometer. He said that his schedule was busy and that it would take some time before he could get to it. I told him that was fine. At the end of May, he emailed me, and we set a time for him to come out. He did what he said that he would do and I paid him. But the fan didn’t work while he was there, and he said to let him know if it didn’t come on when the attic heated up. We were leaving in a few days for a vacation, and I let things go until I returned. I emailed him to find out what it would cost to replace the motor. About a week later, he said he’d replace the motor for $170.00 or the whole assembly for $300.00. In the meantime, I researched attic fan replacement and found out that there are ways to troubleshoot these kinds of problems before going through the expense of replacing parts with a wish and a prayer that they work. What’s more, after removing the motor myself, I found out that it was still under warranty. So I emailed Tony and said, “no thanks.” I’ve since received the parts and repaired the fan myself. My disappointment lies in the faith that I had put in this service provider to come up with the best and least costly solution. When I pay someone to perform a service, I think part of the cost is for expertise. To his credit, Tony showed up when he said he would, and he did what he said he would do.

Tony was great! The best handyman I've ever used. He arrived early and worked fast, efficiently, knowledgeably, and reasonably priced. He figured out the complicated drawer locking system on the credenza in just a few minutes and got the broken drawer to close and lock.

We are very pleased with the work Tony did. He was very prepared and professional and and his estimate was very reasonable (spoiler alert - he did it for exactly the estimate). When it got closer to the date, Tony had to reschedule twice for a week each time (we understand, it happens). He came to the house that day he rescheduled for and he explained his schedule to us. The communication was clear throughout the project. If anything went a little differently, he consulted with us and explained things well. He worked very hard every day he was here, despite our toddler son asking him lots of questions (which he handled very well as a family man himself). He made significant progress every day and I don't know that I ever saw him take a break. He did the work in the order my wife expected, which was a plus for her. It took a couple weeks, which is about what we expected, and like I said above, his estimate was spot on with what he ended up charging. He made sure that our house was clean and orderly at the end of each day so that there was as little interruption to our daily routine as possible. And he was very pleasant and professional throughout the process, which goes a long way when you have a service provider in your home.

Tony is very responsive and reliable. He is always very neat and professional. He has done some carpentry, drywall repair, interior painting, installed lights, finished woodwork (stained and polyurethane), laid some vinyl tiles, added a door to our crawlspace, installed a new bead board ceiling on our porch roof and exterior lighting, fixed stuck doors, installed new door hardware etc. etc. His prices are reasonable and he seems to be able to manage anything we ask him to do. But now he is getting too popular and it is hard to book his time. But he is a great guy so we have recommended him to friends and I decided it was time to give him a review here.

Everything went very well. Tony was polite and very professional. He performed all tasks with very good quality. We're happy with how everything turned out. I'd recommend Tony to anyone.

Tony came out and gave me a free estimate and gave me a time he could come back. He came back as promised and was very nice and professional and did great work. His prices were good too. I would not hesitate to call him whenever I need something done.

I would have used Tony Demuzio but his schedule was full for a couple of months and I wanted the work done sooner. I will call him again for other work.

Great job. Fast, efficient, knowledgeable and personable. Fair price. Although our great room fan is crooked. I didn't notice until after he left. When we hang our curtains my husband will try to fix. Otherwise, everything is great. We will definitely use Tony again and I highly recommend him.

He came by to do a free estimate which we appreciated. He showed up on time to perform the services and all were performed well. He was very professional and courteous. Only small complaint was we didn't know materials would be extra from what we were quoted - just make sure to ask about that prior to project completion. Tony did an excellent job. It is refreshing to find someone who knows how to fix things correctly and doesn't try to cut corners. I will definitely be using him again.

Our kitchen had outdated lighting and needed some added brightness. Tony removed the outdated fixtures, installed 6 canned lights, repaired the popcorn ceiling and cleaned up his work area. Not only is Tony's work done to perfection, his promptness and professional approach when estimating just what is needed to accomplish the task, reassures you that he is the best man for the job. He is also truthful when telling you if the job you want done, is too big for him to accomplish. He doesn't bite off more than he can chew - the task is done on time and your living space is not tied up unnecessary. This is my second experience with Tony. In the past, I've used him to replace a sump pump and gutter cleaning. He did those tasks as well as the aforementioned kitchen job. I feel safe recommending Ansten Handyman Services to family, friends and neighbors.
