The job went perfectly
Description of Work: Tony removed old gutter guards, cleaned out gutters and installed new guards with screws that I supplied on the second story of my home. He even had to spray a bee's nest that had set up home in one gutter.

Overall it didn't go at all!
Description of Work: I had an estimate from Tony and scheduled the service with him as he was really friendly and seemed competent. The estimate was done on April 25th. He scheduled to come May 9th. He called that day to say his daughter was sick and he would come the next week. When I called him 10 d later, he said he was in the middle of another job and quoted a date in 2 wks he would come, then it rained and again I called him (he never called me to sayhe wasn't coming except the first time). Since then we have repeated the process where he gives me a datein 10-14days and then he doesn't show up. I think this is one of those times where I feel like an idiot because I actually believed the guy more than once! Clearly he isn't doing the work he said he would do at my house. My thought now is that he underbid it and now regrets it.

Unfortunately this was one of those circumstances that just never seemed to work out. The first meeting we had scheduled for me to perform the work was cancelled due to my daughter’s illness. I then scheduled a second time to perform the work the following week. That date as well was forced to be cancelled due to weather as I was scheduled to repair some exterior trim. I contacted the client to reschedule and she told me she wasn’t in any rush to get the work done, so just to let her know when I could return. At this point, I had a number of other jobs scheduled, and couldn’t return for a few weeks. So after a few weeks passed, I called the client to schedule a third meeting. And as luck would have it, it ended up raining on that date as well. Unfortunately we had a lot of rain this past spring and early summer which made it very difficult to schedule outdoor projects. I had a number of other outdoor projects cancelled and moved around as well because of the rain. All of those other projects were eventually completed except for this one. So after the third date was rained out, I called the client that day and left her a message that I would contact her when I was able to reschedule again. Because of the other outdoor projects I had to reschedule, and the new projects coming in, a few weeks went by before I was able to reconnect with the client. At this point, she informed me she was planning on getting her exterior trim painted and the guy she hired to do the painting could do the trim repairs if I was unable to make it back. I told her it would be a few weeks before I could make it back and to let me know what she decided. As far as I knew, she was to call me back to let me know if she wanted me to reschedule. I never heard back, so I assumed she had the other guy do the repair. I am very sorry the work did not get done, and I would’ve been happy to have rescheduled a new date. But I can certainly understand if she just wanted to move on and schedule someone else. That’s why I never tried to contact her again. I now realize I should have followed up with her and I am very sorry I did not.
