Yutzy Heating and Cooling is the best. On the first 90+ degree day of the year my central air system gave out and the temperature in the house skyrocketed. The first two companies I called asked me to describe the issue and said it would be a minimum of $500-$1000 and they were scheduling 7-10 days out. Then I spoke to Anthony Yutzy who answered the phone personally and said it was likely one of two things and he didn’t expect it to be that much, even if both issues existed and he could be out between 10-noon the next day. Anthony was on time, called ahead, professional and explained things well to my wife and the bill was less than half what the others quoted for the same issue. We came home on Wednesday evening to a very hot house. I called Yutzy H&C and left a message describing the situation that evening. I received a text message the following morning confirming that he could come out that day. I received another text message when he was on his way. He quickly and professionally diagnosed a burned out transformer and replaced it then proceeded to check the entire system. He explained everything he was doing as he performed the services and what he thought the problem might be. He suggested installing a low voltage circuit breaker to keep this from happening again which we did. We were extremely pleased with his professionalism and service.

Awesome! Was very friendly and professional. Price was very reasonable. Explained things very clearly and simply. I wouldn't t think of calling anyone else in the future!

I called after business hours. The call was returned within an hour and they were on site within two hours. Repair was completed within a half an hour.

Excellent. Anthony, called about 15 min prior to coming to provide the estimate. It was in the 2 hour window they had specified and was right on time. After seeing I was completing most of the work myself he offered to just give advice if I wished with no charge. After discussing the options and his thoughts he provided a written quote the following day. After reviewing the quote and compared to the other companies that had provided only verbal estimates (much more expensive and much less professional) I contacted Yutzy to preform the work and they were able to have someone out the next day. Quentin, Anthony's son, came at the specified time with a 15 min courtesy call prior to arrival. He was very professional courteous and did an excellent job. Yutzy was by far the most professional of the companies I had spoken with and I will definitely use their services again.

Received callahead that tech was on the way. Tech got right to work and performed services as expected. Tech was professional and explained results/findings. No complaints!

Our AC was blowing hot air. Called Yutzy first thing in the morning and the repairman came out in the afternoon. AC needed a new capacitor which was replaced at that time. Fast, friendly, and reasonably priced!! We will use them again.

As always, the service went great. We are a busy family and appreciate the call ahead service. Yutzy's originally installed the AC/Furnace many years ago and we have used them for our service since then. We will never use anyone else ?

Anthony was very professional and helpful. He quickly identified the problem and got our furnace working again. We are so thankful he was able to fix our furnace on a Sunday and we didn't have to spend the night without heat.

Excellent experience. Furnace was acting up due to a condensate trap issue. Yutzy's fixed my issue quickly and at minimum cost. They easily could have overcharged me for unnecessary parts, but did not. They were professional and did quality work.

There are few boiler repairmen left any more ,so it was good to find someone, and someone competent. Anthony, the owner, came himself. He brought his son along as an apprentice (and it was a pleasure to see the two work so well together. :-)) Our boiler finally works correctly after 10 years (seriously!) of service attempts by various other companies. Now, truth be told, we had to figure things out collaboratively, because I doubt repairmen see that many boilers, and I have been fussing with this boiler for many years! So the diagnosis was a joint exploration, not a simple service call. However Anthony worked with me and at the end we found what exactly was wrong and fixed it. A couple issues: He almost charged me for two service calls (i.e. 2 trip charges). I though that wasn't right because a single trip charge should cover the repair until it is done right and everything that needs to be fixed is fixed. However, I mentioned the Angie's List discount, and he took off the 2nd trip charge (instead of giving me the discount), which was better for me anyway. Also, the cost charged for parts was almost 50% higher than what I would have paid if I had got them online. On the other hand, I expect Yutzy will stand behind their parts if they fail. Neither issue caused me to change my ratings, but I felt these were worth mentioning.

Outstanding work. Both men were very professional and extremely personable. They answered all of my questions. They worked quickly and efficiently. The left the work area cleaner than they found it. I would highly recommend Yutzy Heating and Cooling to anyone. Good guys to deal with.

Anthony Yutzy is totally reliable and reasonable . I trust his team so much that I allowed them to install my new system while I was out of town.

I contacted Anthony about smart thermostats over the web initially. He responded and made recommendation. I was originally interested in a Nest but after further researching decided on the Honeywell. Anthony provided and installed the thermostat, connected it to control my whole house humidifier, and hooked it up for control over the Internet. He showed me how to operate it and answered all my questions. He was prompt, very courteous, and professional.

At 10:30 at night my wife realized that the furnace was not working and the temperature in the house had already dropped to 64 degrees. The next day was supposed to be the coldest day we had had in 10+ years. I called a couple companies that offered 24 hour service. One didn't call me back, one did return my call but told me he didn't really know if he had the parts I needed and basically said he wasn't going to come to my house. On a whim I called Yutzy Heating and Cooling, their sticker was on my heater because they were the outfit that installed the heater originally (21 years ago - the previous owner had installed it) and I was hoping they would have the parts I needed. I looked them up on Angie[s list before I called and they only a few reviews but they were all positive. I was very happy I made the call. I left a message with their answering service and got a call back in 20 to 30 minutes from Anthony, the owner. I explained to him the problem, the heater was cycling through but was not igniting. He told me it would be an extra $100 if I wanted him to come out during the night and I said OK. At this point it was after midnight. Within an hour Anthony and his son Quentin arrived. They were able to diagnose the problem, it was a bad igniter, and had all the necessary parts with them. Unfortunately, the heater wasn't done giving them problems, even with the new igniter the heater wasn't firing up. Anthony methodically went through all the possible variables that could be causing the problem and realized it was the pressure sensor. He was able to get it working again and the furnace fired right up. He also showed me a trick to try if the pressure sensor stopped working again. As long as they were out there, Quentin also gave the furnace an inspection and cleaned the pressure switch, heat sensor and condensate drain, no extra charge. They acted as if was 1:30 in the afternoon, not 1:30 in the morning!! While they were working I had a couple questions about what they were doing and they were more then happy to answer them. Anthony and Quentin were both very nice and very professional and I will use them again in the future.

They responded to our call for an estimate within hours. They were polite, informative and gave us written estimate. We compared estimate with one we had from another company and decided to go with the other company.

We have used them for 12+ years. They are prompt and easy to work with. Quality of work is very high. Respond promptly to emergencies (at additional cost). Have never had a problem with them.

We called them on Memorial Day and they returned our call within an hour. Anthony Yutzy gave us an estimate of the potential costs for him to come out. He stated he would be here between 12 and 1 and he arrived at 11:30. He was very pleasant and explained what he was doing. We ended up needing a part (which he had on hand). We thought we might need coolant and he didn't believe it was necessary at this time. He did not try to sell us something we didn't need. He also checked our furnace to make sure eveything was working. We highly recommend this company.

My heater stopped working the night before and it was a very cold night. I left a message late in the evening and received a call back right when they opened. I didn't request emergency service so their response was very prompt. They got to me quickly after speaking to them and fit in between appointments. He diagnosed the problem quickly and even completed a tune up on the furnace. I'm really impressed and won't use anyone else to service my furnace.

All services performed have gone very well, and I have never had any problems with any of the heating or cooling units at my home or office. The only reason I gave a B for responsiveness is because sometimes they are not able to get out as fast as I would like as they are a very small company. I would highly recommend them as they are knowledgable, honest and fair.

It has been working fine ever since. We are probably on the last leg with our furnace, but we will keep it going as long as we can. They said they would try to help us do that. I really trust them. I don't think they would try to sell us anything that we don't need. They had done all the plumbing and heating when our house was built. They also did our geothermal. They do it all. We are pretty confident working with them as far as any issues. We have also worked with them in the past and they have been very responsive and very good. It's a family-owned business, and they have had it for years and years. I think their sons are working there now. We deal with them now, and they are very good. They are very reasonably priced. I have talked to them about getting an estimate when the time comes for increasing our heating and cooling because we will be putting on an addition. What I don't like is that we have to wait a little bit longer to get the service. They are a small company and it takes a little bit longer to get everything done.

Three men arrived at their scheduled 8:00 am time. Two of the men worked outside to remove the old heat pump while the third disconnected the air handler in the basement. By 10:30 am, the old heat pump, air handler and thermostat was out and the new equipment was in. Our existing plenum would not work with the taller air handler. They took some measurements and two of the men left to fabricate some new sheet metal for the air handler. The third man remained and ran the copper lines out to the heat pump and made all the electrical connections outside. The other two men returned about 1:30 pm and dropped off the new sheet metal pieces and then they left. The remaining man finished installing the sheet metal, humidifier, connected the copper lines, fabricated a new condensate drain line, connected the air handler wiring and pumped down and charged the heat pump. It was about 6:30 pm when he turned the system on. He asked if he could leave us with the thermostat controlling the air handler on auxilliary heat until the next day. We agreed. He returned the next morning and put the heat pump in service and went over the system with us. It has been in service about a month now. It is a great system. Both the heat pump and the air handler are quieter than the old one. The touch thermostat is easier for us to understand and it has provisions to control the humidifier. It looks better than the old programmable thermostat and separate humidistat that we had. Yutzy quoted two systems to replace our existing system. The first was a reasonably priced standard replacement and the second was a more expensive premium system. With energy costs continually rising, we chose the pricier, 16 SEER, two stage heat pump with variable speed air handler. We are completely satisfied with the Westinghouse heat pump, air handler and Honeywell thermostat that they recommended and with Yutzy's installation of this equipment. I would recommend Yutzy Heating and Cooling to anyone.

They were excellent overall. The best thing about them was that they were very prompt. We would use them again in the future if necessary.
