They have been doing work for us for the past year and we have signed a contract for them to work with us through another year. We are very pleased with them.

Description of Work: They did come for the first visit around April 17th. I had been told there would be another visit in May and one last one in June. That would have been aggreable with me, since that would have been three visits. But, I was informed by the office manager today (while they were trying to contact me to offer me additional services over and above the 3 I paid for) that it was too late to apply the pre-emergent so they combined (whatever they were) in the first visit and that they would only be coming one more time -- not the three as was promised in the original agreement. I am only quoting in this note what was relayed to me today by their office manager. The original agreement was 3 separate visits for $89, not 2 separate visits for $89. I believe the person I talked to on the phone was Sharon -- her name started with an S. Sorry that this is only my best guess.

Description of Work: I didn't notice that the offer was for 7.000sq.feet only. Our property is much larger, therefore we could not take advantage of the offer. Everyone was very helpful!

Description of Work: Very prompt and responsive. The refund request had nothing to do with Weedmans service or professionalism. We had another est from another provider who treated yard before we confirmed our agreement. Going to take way more than three treatments to get our yard in shape.

Description of Work: I purchase Big Deal and then called to schedule service. The description of the Big Deal specifically states "offering 3 visits..." It also says "1st application of a pre-emergent fertilizer." The Weed Man employee told me that the second and third applications are done at the same time (in one visit, they combine two applications of fertilizer and weed control) and that there is no pre-emergent applied on the first visit. So, whereas I thought I was purchasing 3 applications spread out over time, done in 3 visits, the Big Deal was actually only 2 visits, and according to the employee, would not include a pre- emergent.

Description of Work: I purchased a big deal coupon for $89. for three lawn treatments on up to 7000 square feet of lawn. The area to be treated is the front and side yard of a 7 unit condo building. I had previously gotten a written estimate from a lawn company who measured the area and came up with a figure of 6700 square feet. When I called Weed Man Jeanne in the office measured and said that the area was 10370 square feet and there would be an extra charge for the lawn treatments. I said that that was considerably more than a previous estimate. I verified the area that was to be treated with her and measured it myself using the county auditor website. I got a fizure of 8226 square feet, but that included some flower bed and tree areas so the area for treatment would actually be less that 8200. Jeanne said that the boss would be back by 2:30pm and would call me. At 4:00pm I had not receved a call. I contacted Angie's List to request a refund. I don't feel comfortable working with this company. Thanks
